Evry couple of weeks i find this program installed on my pc, i coudn't find it in the programs and features, so i googled it and downloaded the tool to uninstall it which i did, but every couple of weeks i find it back on my computer,is there any way to stop it installing,enclosed attachment.

I am getting the following stop error: Stop 0x000000f4 (0x00000003, 0x8442ad90, 0x8442aedc, 0x81240330). I am upgrading from a XP PRO box to Vista Business. It is a Tecra a9 with 2 mg of RAM. Anyone know what is causing this error message?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI opened some stupid link yesterday and some small windows(like that) started poping out. when i click on close the program it does that and another window pops out saying that some other program started working. and like that non stop until all programs crash. if i dont click on 'close program', nothing happens, but the window stays there on my display. its really annoying, i dont know what to do. PS. when i shut my computer down some other window pops out, i tried to take a picture of it but it's very blurry it says The instruction at 0x0000000 referenced memory at 0x000000. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program.

Must be some new feature they never advertised, but should!!The other day, Vista (Ultimate 64) was nagging me to reboot after installing some updates.. I kept putting it off but finally it wouldn't let me put it off for as long. In any event, I walked away to get some lunch and when I got back, my PC had been rebooted. I logged back in and things looked like it was starting up normally..But then I see down my taskbar, that I have three programs still open!! I'm like WTF? How is this possible?!?! They were: Outlook, an Unsent/Saved Draft of an email, and another Email which was just open. My web browser windows, and multiple tabs, were all gone though..OR WERE THEY!? I opened IE7 to begin getting my desktop back in order and get my email tabs all opened up, when suddenly I saw that IE7 had all my tabs in it as soon as it loaded!! I could not believe this!!
What's REALLY weird, and I think is confirmation that something had happened, was that I now had 4 tabs in one IE7 instance, whereas before I had two instances of IE7 (cascaded horizontally on my 22" widescreen displays) each with 2 tabs - one set was for email and one was for forums I frequent. But now, IE7 loaded up and I had all 4 of these COMBINED into a single IE7 instance (which btw, I'm trying to figure out how to move tabs from one IE7 instance to another, but there doesn't seem to be a way!)..In any event, I can not believe it still, thus I'm posting this here to see if anyone else has encountered this..If you don't believe me (even I will try this again), go and install some updates (not like SP1 but some basic updates), then wait to let it reboot and see what happens!!
The whole administration thing. Obviously if I am the only account on the computer, I'm going to be the administrator. I was downloading a program earlier, and when I went to install it, I was given the error "You must be logged in as an administrator when installing this program"

is it normal for me to have 2 Program files?
One has (x86) next to it. ( I assume for the 32bit apps?!?! maybe)
i installed ultimate 64 bit on my dell 1720. it originally came with like home premium 32 bit. why does it have a program files and program files (x86) folder? i just didn't know why it had both and what this means or doesn't mean.

I have disabled Superfetch, Indexing and Defrag just to name a few in a vain attempt to track down why this happens. It appears to be normal with some but not all Vista installations. Before Vista came along this sort of activity would ring alarm bells. The System and Performance monitor shows it is updating system files but why does it need to do it 100% of the time. Hard drives are NOT built with a 100% duty cycle in mind. I need some knowledgable person who knows the complete answer to this problem.

In my bios i do not have the drives turned on to RAID i just have them in their naitive modes. I installed Vista and now it set up a RAID 1 all by itself. Has my C Drive as MIRROR[0][2] SCSI Disk Device. Now i want to stop this so i can use the other drive. Can i do this with out a reinstall? Or what would happen if i whipped on drive then plugged it back in , would this clear the other as well?
