Many Error Messages, Cant Use Computer?
Feb 5, 2005my computer is incredibly screwed up! Nothing works,and it takes forever to load. here are some of the errors I get. I get an error message about DrWatson. I got the error signature for this one. Hasn't been connected to the internet since it was first made about a month ago to update windows.

Once my computer has restarted error messages come up saying " a serious error has occured", "windows/explorer/ etc had recovered a serious error" I've ran virus checks through nortan, and adware...everything comes up fine.

Feb 27, 2008I've tried booting up another one of my computers. it says that there is a disk error and to hit ctrl, alt, delete to restart. Did that a bunch of times and still wouldn't boot. I took the System Recovery disk from my Compaq (bad drive is in a HP, can't find the boot disk for that system) and changed the boot order and the CD won't boot. Tried safe mode, last known good configuration and tried to scan the disk and it doesn't complete and gives another error: :windowssystem32configsystem missing or corrupt
So I took the information from this link, option 4 towards the bottom Help2Go saying to take the bad drive and put it into a good PC running XP. So I got up to this point "You should now be back at the “My Computer” window. There, you should also see another hard drive listed. Open that drive. " so I double-clicked the bad drive and after a while I get, "Disk is not formatted, Do you want to format it now?" if I format it, how do I get Windows back to the HDD? Keep it in the Compaq as a secondary drive and use the Compaq System Recovery disks?

Aug 14, 2005A site http://icsfamily.com, When I browse using IE 6 from specific machine, and afterlogin if I stay in site and browse to different pages, or surf out and in again I am asked to log in again. The problem started only now, when using Mozilla it is OK, when using IE on another machine it is also OK. When I login and open cookie folder I see the file and actually see it disappear few seconds after. I have sent the cookie to the support guys, but they said its OK and am sure the problem is my side as Mozilla is OK and other machines are OK.

Very annoying as I clear this folder everyday. I have not visited any new sites which could redirect the folder. Cookie - I Was Blocked From Entering The Site
Oct 20, 2006I did for a while activate the "prompt" alternative on Favorites/Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Advanced to block unwanted cookies. Then I blocked cookies from a site that I usually visit, marking the "always." option. The result was that I was blocked from entering the site. I then reversed all of my previous actions, letting the browser deal automatically with cookies as it saw fit (greying out all the rest of the alternatives on that window), restarted the computer and returned to the site. But all I get is a pop-up saying "You must activate cookies on your browser", at various stages, sometimes after I give the password and all, sometimes as soon as the home window comes up. I repeated all the a/m actions several times, but with the same result. I have XP with SP2, IE6, Pentium d.

May 5, 2010I tried to connect to BT Yahoo Broadband yesterday (it had been working fine), when I got "sorry, the attempt to sign in failed", after pressing the help button the next message read "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. C: Program Files Yahoo Browser Ybrowser.exe. A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program`s internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated"I can connect to BT Yahoo wirelessly using my laptop, but not on my desktop PC.I tried using system restore and tried about 6 different restore points going back a month or more, but every time got the reply that the system could not be restored to that date.
