When I pull up IE I get a IE alert box that says, it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future you can display this message by double - clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar. And then it has a smaller box that contains the following.... Line 3.....Char: 1....Error: permission denied...Code: 0...URL: When I click o.k. it will not go away unless I keep clicking on it.

So far I've had no success in locating a solution. I am using Windows XP Home Edition. I should also note that the control panel won't function either since it is basically part of Windows Explorer.
