Jan 4, 2006I noticed recently that my system and other folder names have changed on their own! What the -h- happened? I have never seen anything like this before. These folders appear on all of my drives c:, d:, g: and they are random. It looks like they are of another language, maybe? Actually, the wording makes no sense at all...> It looks like most of these folders previously existed.
Things I have done: Ran Anti-V program + Ewido Suite = No viruses, trojans, malware, etc. Ran three adware programs (ad-aware, spywareblaster, spyware doctor) = Clear. Checked all running processes and startup tab in mscofig = no peculiar programs detected. Ran regseeker = Phenominal amount of invalid keys, etc. (3,000+) very unusual to the norm!!!
RDP To Console Session With RDP 6.1
May 23, 2008In Windows Vista SP1 and XP SP3 the remote desktop client has been updated to version 6.1. In this new version running mstsc /console to get to the console session no longer works. With RDP 6.1 you need to use the new /admin flag.

Oct 22, 2007I was just using my PC this weekend and i tried to combine the 3 partitions in my master/primary hdd with my parition magic 8.0. After partition magic was done on its job, pc rebooted and i cant load xp anymore. have tried removing small battery, reinstalling with recovery CD and still wont load xp. i was getting diffrent things on the screen. first was that my pc hung on me when "booting to CD:" came, did something and next i got was mbr error 2, then i got disk boot failure after playing around with the PC.by the way my pc had acronis too. i figure it has something to do with it. i tried my recovery cd 3 tiems and after finishing the reinstall i still cant boot. i tried to use an xp boot disk and found that all my files are still intact and havent been reformatted.

Sep 3, 2009Windows that the program opens for that particular worksession are in another order than it used to be. As a consequence of that, the tiles on the bottom of the screen are now in a different order than what I am used to. I want to change that so that the tiles on the bottom of the screen are in the same order as before.
Program does not appear to allow any changes in the order in which it opens the windows, so the only option would then be to change the order of the tiles after opening a worksession.
Connect To Console Session Using Remote Desktop
Jul 20, 2004I would like to be able to connect to the existing open session in the console instead of loging in again.I use win2003 server at work, and XP at home. Normally I don't log off when I leave work since I like to come back in the morning and continue where I was. If while Im at home, want to add something to my work and use the remote desktop connection, I always need to log in and a new session is created, then I start with an empty desktop and have to get the applications up before I can continue working. It would be much nicer to connect to the existing session as I left at the office.Does anyone know what I need to set up/enable?

If PC2 is connected (to PC1) and I try to connect with PC3, I will kick off PC2 and connect. I don't wont this. Since once it got o.k. after I started defragmenting a volume, I am trying it everytime with success. However, maybe it's a co-incidence & the blurring goes away automatically after a time.
