Chinese Character - Internet Explorer 6.5
Jan 30, 2009I keep on getting chinese character here and there in IE 6.5 and sometime in Lotus.
I am quite confused about this.

Character Map - Extract This Character Into EMail
Jun 10, 2005I'm using Windows XP, SP2 I can handle inserting special characters from the Character Map up to #256 using Alt + Keypad.I can't handle Unicode Characters above 256.The specific character I need is Greek Lambda [lower].The unicode is 03BB.
1) Help me extract this character into eMail, or 2) Help me learn how to extract ANY characte expressed in Unicode.

But when I open the available languages list, I found, to my surprice, Chinese is not on it. I think Dell must have customized XP and somehow deleted Chinese. Is there a way to add it? Or there is nothing I can do?

Sep 28, 2006My pc is so slow that it takes ages to play a song in wmp11. Ive used tools like ad-aware and registry mechanic, tune up utilities. But still no improvement. It used to be just fine, until I installed some pay-for-viewing add program. I have uninstalled it since then, but the slowness remains. And the processor is hogged, at the highest level, even though i killed many a startup processes.

Now whenever I try to start Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer the windows installer starts and the windows will not open until I have cancelled the installer several times. Internet Explorer - Change All Of My Internet Shortcuts
Apr 17, 2005A friend of mine installed the Mozilla browser and I didnt like it so I uninstalled it. Anyways to make a long story short..Since then,In the address bar (ie icon), and all my internet links (internet shortcuts) show as an unassigned file type now. So for instance if I drag an http link from my browser to my desktop...it does not show as an ie link anymore (just a random file type). So when I right click my internet links and say "open with" internet explorer it works. However...when I select the check box "always open with this program" it will not change all of my internet shortcuts appear with the "IE" icon like it should

Text below icons, text in start menu, text on explorer, just about everything.
