im installing macromedia shockwave player so that i can log on to habbo hotel but all i keep on getting is a blue triangle red square and green circle in the left hand corner of the screen.Ive tried to set it up manually but for the installation complete sign to show the shapes are there.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi've been running windows xp and the latest version of flash on this computer for as long as i can remember. the only thing is, about a year ago my computer tended to restart itself when i tried to load a large flash/shockwave file on both ie and ff. some websites cannot cause it to crash at all, Internet, for instance, but other websites like gametrailers cause the problem in hand.i've tried installing and reinstalling them many times, but the problem persists to this day.if anyone could help me to resolve this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy computer, which has IE and Windows XP, somehow lost Flash player 8 and Shockwave last week. Graphics, pictures and streaming videos do not show up anymore. Many pages which have graphics are simply blank boxes. I tried to use my restore function on my computer and reset the computer to before this all happened and when I go to the restore page all I see is a white page with no words.On Macromedia's website, I try and download Flashplayer and Shockwave where it says to click but after that I see nothing but a blank page. It seems need these programs to even download them! Which is really getting my upset!I had a tech person from Yahoo help me with my all my computer settings and they are all set the way they should be. But I still cannot obtain Flash and Shockwave at all!

When I put the CD in the drive a message pops up saying I need to install Shock wave.So I went to their site and downloaded and installed shock wave.I inserted the disk again and the same message came up to install shockwave? i reinstalled xp and i the computer basically operates the same way. i am lucky to get anything to work with the keys but especially no function with the mouse. windows xp appears to be installed fine. i cannot get to system restore either.
i have my dell laptop hooked to it with but cannot navigate at all in trying to link the two puters together.
i wanted to completely format and reinstall xp but it appears it just copied over and still left me with the problems.
My computer has the so called hiccups. When I try to run something graphically, it will beep very softly and stall up then run fine, then beep and stall etc. I have no idea what triggered this insanity, but its gotten to the point where it will do it at random times even when i try to scroll, and it has done it during start up

That is if I try to do a 180 turn in game with a whip motion I get a stall, or if I scroll from the top right X button in FireFox to the Start menu too fast I also get a stall. Wiggle the mouse, stall, do anything other than smooth very slow and linear movements and I get a stall.This problem happens with all of the mice I own; 2 different types of Logitech mice, and a pos Creative. The Logitech Optical Mouse I own is totally brand new out of the box and still gets this issue.I've tried installing individual MouseWare drivers for each of the Logitech mice and the problem still has not been solved.I've tried putting all the mice in all the various ports they support, usb, and p2 whatever im computer ignorant.

View 6 Replies View Relatedevery 3-5 minutes or so, the main window that i'm working in (doesn't matter which program im running, but usually firefox/msn messenger, etc..) stops being the "top" window, and instead goes to the background - as if i opened another internet explorer window on top of it.this "glitch" is always followed by something even more strange - the sound gets cut off, and if i check the meters in volume control i always find the "wave" meter to be on minimum, and i have to put it back in the middle.

Is it possible to use a Windows XP .ISO file with the free VMware player? I know how to use VMware player to boot a bootable ISO, and it works with others (like BackTrack2). But with a Windows XP ISO file (its a bootable XP installation disk ISO), it gives an error saying it can't find the hardrive for the installation. Anyone know how I can do this successfully with just a virtual CD image (not a physical CD) and without the need to install anything extra?

I have WMP,iTunes,GoldWave,Realplayer and quick Time in my Entertainment folder.Task manager does not indicate as to which application or process is being used for audio.I would like to know which program/application is in use at the time the CD is playing. Besides I do not want to disable the autoplay of the CD.

I could not back out of the download or even shut down from the START menu. I had to do so manually.Ever since, I see two boxes on Start-up: one says "TrayApp" and asks me to insert a CD-rom disk to access the program. Another says "Error 1706" and that no valid source can be found for TrayApp product. Every so often, I see a screen asking me to insert a disk for Viewpoint Media Player. My CD-rom drive is not functioning, so I couldn't do that, in any case, even if I had the disk.
