Hour Glass For Like Split Second
Nov 24, 2006hey im new to this place and i have a major problem. all of a sudden when i click to download something, itll show a hour glass for like a split second and then nothing. it wont download it. this happens in internet explorer 7 beta. everyone else tells me to download the new version. well i cant. some other people tell me to just download firefox.well i cant do that either . and one told me to look at my internet options. but when i click to get into it it just flashes a white picture and then closes immediately.

Feb 17, 2009I have Windows XP on a Sony Vaio, model VGN-FS640. When I click on Add or Remove Programs, I get this message: Windows cannot find 'C:WINDOWSsystem 32undll32.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. Then it discusses searching for a file. Until recently I have been able to use Add or Remove. The only thing I have done recently that I can think of is use Spyware Detector and Reg. Cure. At the same time, another problem developed, which I'm including, as maybe they are related: I have Belarc Advisor on my computer. I was going to open it, but I got this message under Sharing Session title, "The destination address is not valid. Check the address and try again." Error

However, browsing through, (is it still windows explorer?), I saw that the folder is still there and full of goodies. Can I just delete the entire main folder? Mar 7, 2006I posted this here because I assume it has more to do with my actual computer setup than anything else, but I apologize if I am mistaken.I am currently running WinXP SP2.I have this problem in that quite often when running my bittorrent client (Azureus), I just lose connection with my router and I cannot regain connection uintil I reboot the router...even rebooting the comuter doesn't seem to do the trick. This happens with certain trackers more than others, but only with bittorrent, and not even at extreme upload or download speeds. I can be uploading at 20kb/s and downloading at even less and lose it, when at other times I can be uploading files to web host at 200kb/s without problems.

There is no Change/Remove button in Add/Remove Programs but the program is there, 150 MB, and the file suggested on the HP website for uninstalling older printers from XP produces a message that it's "unsupported" can't remember exact verbiage, been a while since last tried. Even reinstalled in the hopes that a message would come up to the effect "this program is already installed, do you want install to remove it prior to completing this install," but it just installs the printer again with a number after it ... I'm up to "hp officejet g series - 3."

Jun 6, 2007When I came on the computer today, the first thing that came up was a warning from Lavasoft Ad-Aware telling me something about a regkey being modified and then it said Allow or Block. I figured it was a bad thing, so I clicked block and went on. My Firefox was working fine. However, when I went to open my iTunes, nothing happened. The only program working for me was Firefox. So, I restarted my computer and all of my icons to different programs showed up as errors (I don't know if that's the right word, but none of them would open). So, since I couldn't run any of my anti-virus programs to do a scan, I went online and ran the Trend Micro House Call scan. But, each time I do it, it gets to a certain point and then my taskbar disappears and I can't get it back.I've tried searching everywhere for a solution but they all require me downloading something which doesn't work since I can't open any windows.
