Now i want to integrate the french pack in the iso file or in what folder do i have to put it to make it work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAt my company we are currently running a server (with Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard), without Active Directory, and we have a bunch of laptops running Windows 8.1 Pro. Now we want to install Dynamics CRM which requires an Active Directory domain.
I am trying to run through every anticipated problem before I do the domain configuration. The last problem that I anticipate is the following:
Our MD's laptop is currently logging in without a Microsoft account (in other words, he uses a standard local user profile in Windows 8.1 Pro). He has a whole lot of data in this profile from a few years of work. So now, when we configure the domain, obviously he will have to sign in using an Active Directory username and password. So question 1 is, is it possible to synchronize the current local (non-Windows Live) account with the domain account? The second question is, how will this affect his data, settings, etc? And the third question is, when he's working from home, without the domain controller to authenticate logins, will he still be able to access his data and profile? In other words, what I'm really asking is, will we be able to kind of "integrate" the Active Directory account and local account as one account, but the authentication is AD based when he's at the office, but local if he's at home?

What I need to know is that: Is that possible to integrate a loader onto Windows 8 boot loader to reset the activation to trial period and then activate the system with an offline key (activate as offline only)?
This way we could make somekind of loader to set activation status as OK as far as online is not intented. And we can continue to have an trial adventure for life with Windows 8. Is that possible or no one tried it yet?

When I upgraded to Win 8 I first got the media pack product key so when I was going through the process I entered the key and got the Media pack during the download.
I have sent a request via the appropriate route for the pack to be sent to my address for my laptop; I know there is one key per pc.
It said it would take up to 72 hours but I have not received it. I called but some person who I could not understand well gave me a site which was the same I initially tried. This time it said it could not be executed.
Perhaps it was because of the address being the same but I am not sure. Is MS closing out this offer? Once you get the "free" pack does it expire in 3 months?
I downloaded the Swedish language pack on my Windows 8.1. But previously it was Italian. So when i downloaded it was 90% swedish the general things like desktop, control panel..... and 10% was italian (i think it is only the start menu on windows 8 and some folders). What should I do???

Anyway, whatever I did said I needed to get a license key for the media pack. Well, Microsoft just emailed me my key today but I don't really know what to do with it. How do I go about installing the media pack so I can enter the key?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've decided to go ahead and reinstall w8pro given my extensive messing around with it has finally caused some quirky, unexpected results - it's a relatively new installation, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle, didn't get a chance to install a lot of third party programs and such. The thing is, I did purchase and install the Windows 8 media center pack - how do i go about getting this back? do i have to contact ms? I'm fairly certain that i don't have an activation number for the pack, if i recall i just paid for it online and then was allowed to download it and install it.
Also, i thought i would go ahead and do a clean install all over again as opposed to a reset or refresh given i want to make certain that i'm starting from scratch again... or do you think a reset or refresh might be the better option (i'm not concerned about keeping any personal settings or files intact).

There is setting in windows 8 "Use desktop language bar when it's available" it makes language bar like it was in windows 7. But it doesn't seem to work correctly it doesn't appear when windows starts it only appears if you change language with keyboard short cut (for example shift+alt or shift+ctrl you can change that in settings).
I have set 3 input languages so it should be there and I need to use it.. windows default language preference select menu works but language bar doesn't.
The name of the apps in the metro are in different language than English so how can I change the language? and also when I click right click on the desktop I see the options in English in addition to another language so how can I change it to be all in English?
View 2 Replies View RelatedFirst off, when I type in Korean and Japanese using the appropriate Korean/Japanese IMEs, the language bar is autoset to Half_width alphanumeric. I want to remove all options except for Hiragana and Full-Width Katakana and set it so that when I change my language to Japanese it automatically sets to Hiragana. Similarly with Korean how do I remove the alphanumeric and leave only the korean language option? Secondly, is there a button is can use to fluidly tag between language options within an language? So for instance, if I'm in Japanese is there a combination of buttons to press such that I can change between Hiragana and Full-Width Katakana?

The Problem When I turn on my laptop, there is the word "ENG" beside my clock and my input language is set to English (United States). When I click ENG; I am giving the option to switch between English(Ireland) and English (United States).
When I go to language preferences, the English (United States) language does not show as being one of my preferences
However, when I add the language and then press "Remove", the ENG beside the clock disappears
I don't mind what it is; editing the registry, deleting the English(United States) language.
I have some weird problem in Windows 8.
For some reason i can't remove ENG US Keyboard from language bar.
When i click 'Language preferences' i get this window
As you can see there is no ENG so that i can remove it! When i click on 'bosanski' options i get this:

my default language setting (keyboard layout) is Swedish.For some reason Windows 8.1 changes this setting to English.
I have tried to install and then uninstall the English keyboard layout (so that Swedish is the only one available) but Windows doesn't care if the layout is actually installed or not. Here is a screenshot:

Windows changes this setting on a whim, it seems to happen the most when starting up the computer. I had this problem with Windows 8 as well.

This seems heavily related to my mouse - SteelSeries - World of Warcraft : Cataclysm? MMO Gaming Mouse / the control panel for that mouse as it only started happening after installing this mouse (both home and work pc).
I have tried to add English (US) >> Set it as Primary >> Then remove English (US).
Doing this removes the English (US) keyboard completely which is what I want/expect but then it comes back again after a short while?
Is it possible to change the English (US) keys to match that of the English (UK) so even if it does change to English (US) it wouldn't be a problem anyway?
Using Windows 8.1. I have English and Japanese input languages added, and both are listed as options in the language toolbar, but it is impossible to select anything but English. Windows+Space allows me to navigate to Japanese, but releasing the keys or pressing Enter does nothing. The Left Alt+Shift shortcut also does nothing.

Heres the problem. In Control Panel -> Language the keyboard is recognized:
But on taskbar I couldn't choose my keyboard, just with Alt + Shift i can change it, but taskbar still shows Different language as input:
Is there a way how to change it to see my keyboard on the Taskbar too and do a easy change and also have it as Default, because now i need always on logon change it by ALt + Shift. If I change it in Taskbar it even doesnt work but messes up the input languages.
Even Windows + Space couldnt change my language into my keyboard only Alt + Shift
Today I changed my language options and happened to come across a BSOD. When I restarted, I found out that the input language for my password has also been changed, and my usual key combination for changing languages does not work. Thus, I cannot enter my password to change my language back to English. find a way to change the input language on the login screen?.

when i install my windows 8 this afternoon i set my location into indonesia. so all of my settings was in bahasa. i've done as the guide said but in my "START", things like Music, Weather, Pictures and some others are still in their bahasa language. while others like Maps and Computers are already changed into English.
