View 3 RepliesI have recently been having the BSOD come up while i am watching films or occasionally just using my laptop, not quite sure what caused it as it only started about 2-3 weeks ago, i have tried restoring it from previous start points saved on my computer but it still happens, I have followed the instructions required and have attached the appropriate file required.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got the BSOD while watching a movie. I had this problem even while gaming, but seemed to be solved by lifetec. Today I got another BSOD while watching a movie. I just made a rar file with a mini dump file into it.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought new computer parts in January and was having several BSOD issues with Windows 7. I decided to reformat using Windows 8.1 and had not had a single crash up until about 2 weeks ago. It started as a single crash. Then another a few days later. Now I'm to the point where I get several crashes a night.
Crashes tend to happen when watching videos, but has also occurred as soon as Windows finished loading from sleep or restart.
I purchased a new hard drive this evening thinking that my hard drive was the issue, as it was one of only 2 parts I didn't upgrade when I upgraded my computer (though I did reformat my HDD several times after installing the new hardware). I installed Windows 8.1 on the new HDD and installed Windows updates with no issues. But shortly after I got another couple of crashes. I cleared the new HDD and put it back in the box since the hard drive wasn't the issue, so the crash dump files I'm including are from the original HDD. I got 2 crashes on the new HDD before clearing it, and the error messages were similar to what I was getting with the original HDD. (KMODE)
I recently bought new hardware to upgrade my system. The whole works, motherboard, SSD, i7 processor, new RAM.
computer name: STINKO-MAN
windows version: Windows 8 , 6.2, build: 9200
windows dir: C:WINDOWS
Hardware: MS-7816, MSI, Z87-G43 GAMING (MS-7816)
CPU: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz Intel586, level: 6
8 logical processors, active mask: 255
RAM: 8531210240 total
VM: 2147352576, free: 1917751296
I get the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 2 or 3 times a day. I found this mainly happens when I watch videos embedded in websites or browsing the steam store (when you browse a game there are embedded videos that play automatically in steam).
I recently bought the parts for this computer and have assembled it. I have updated all of the driver that I am aware of and have even updated the BIOS. My computer crashes whenever I try to watch youtube (especially if they are embedded in a website). Also, I recently purchased a computer game and I now get the error when starting that game. This has never happened with any other game until now.
I ran the intel processor diagnostic tool and my processor ... FAILED
I have attached the .txt results
Yesterday when I watched one of my favourite movies with Pot Player I got the BSOD and my computer automatically rebooted itself. I followed the procedure by making .zip file with SF_Diagnostic_Tool.exe and I uploaded the .zip in my thread.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I watch Youtube, I get Blue screen randomly.
Also, I found that choosing sound quality 24 bit, 24000 HZ, instead of 24 bit, 192000 HZ seems to alleviate the problem.
But, as an audiophile, I would like to still set it to 192000 HZ.
My laptop has been crashing regularly and very often for about a month. Happens most of the time when I open a new webpage on chrome, or a video plays in browser - and I get this error displayed: Attempted Execute of NoExecute Memory.
I suppose this is a driver problem - this became a menace ever since I tried updating my video and audio drivers from the HP Website (Using a HP Envy DV6 7245us Laptop). I've tried reinstalling the drivers but it didn't solve the problem.
The laptop is new - bought it in September. Worked fine. Ran virus scans - nothing detected (I use BitDefender).

I have that feeling that my pc crashed when it comes to playing games or watching hd movies.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had a problem for about a couple of minutes and nownow it's gone.
I watching a video and suddenly the pc restarted and booted to motherboard screen and then restarted again, this time it booted to Windows logo.
It did this twice and then I hard shutdown the pc.
The light of the power button indicating that there's power was off.
So I unplugged the 24pin and 8pin power cables (corsair ax850)and connected from another power supply I had (gigabyte 500w) just to see if there's power coming to the board and the light was on.
So I plugged back the corsair cables back and the light was on again. I turned the pc on played a couple of games on it and everything was back to normal.
Could this be a cable issue or motherboard socket issue?
I tried to watch downloaded .avi movies with Windows Media Player, and the video quality is very poor, can see blocks and artifacts everywhere. When I watch the same movies with VLC, it is clear. I think it is a codec problem. What is the best codec to apply to Windows 8 Media Player, so we can watch movies clearly?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen watching videos on you tube in full screen, it will leave to normal screen in one min. My drivers are up to date and system do not show any notifications for updates. This problem occurs irrespective of any browser and full screen exits on anything.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just installed my Windows 8.1 and ran into a little problem that keeps me away from using Windows 8. So, as I try to watch any video on Youtube (or anywhere else) or downloading few programs after 2-5 minutes of video or download time the internet disappears.
I've tried disabling Firewall, play with other settings but nothing works at all. After the disappearance of the internet I have to restart my PC (because without restart Troubleshoot seems to do nothing) and run Troubleshoot. It says that my Wi-fi is shut down but I skip this one, because my internet is on cable. So then I get another "Problem found" and it says "The Ethernet adapter is disabled".
I have installed windows 8.1 pro . when I watch YouTube videos and remain inactive for a while then screen gets dimmer and then turns off. I could understand when nothing was done then screen would go idle but the video is running and screen turns off ...isn't it frustrating? so how to keep screen alive while watching YouTube videos but it should turn off when pc is inactive(other cases when video is not playing) ..

View 8 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I start up my pc and the Windows 8 loading screen comes up, (That purple screen that says loading and the dots going in circles) I know that there are going to be some stuttering problems whenever I watch a video (Youtube, MP4) or play a game. Restarting is a temporary fix that I do but it comes back afterwards. Is there a permanent solution to this?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I am listening music or video (in IE (like youtube), Winamp, WMP...) after the random time (minutes or even hours) the volume goes down to about 15% and Windows Volume System Tray App shows this (two markers at music playing app):

It reminds me radio mute in car, when there is incoming call to phone hands free set... ). I have some shit PCI-E X-Fi standalone sound card connected by "HD-Audio" (9 or 10 colored wires) cables to computer-case's "front-media-panel" (mic and headset connector). Maybe this connection is bad.
I only just very recently received this laptop as a gift, but as soon as I started watching movies on my Netflix account I noticed that the screen would briefly go black then return to my program. This happens very often, once every 2 to 5 minutes. And this only happens when I'm trying to watch movies. Browsing and game play is flawless. What could be the issue? It was recommended that I install Windows 8.1 upon setting up my laptop, so I did just that. I didn't play around with Windows 8 beforehand, though, so I don't know if the problem is the operating system or not.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, yesterday is the first time this has happened. It has never happened before. The first time it happened yesterday, I Was watching some TV shows online, and then I got the PAGE_FAULT(...) error code.
I tried running my Anti_Malware scanner to see if that could pick something up. It crashed again just as it started.
So I tried Advanced SystemCare. Again, same problem.
And it just keeps happening.
I tried refreshing my computer to see if that would do anything, but it crashed during that too.
I ran the SF Diagnostic program and I have the .DMP files (But I can't seem to upload them. Maybe I'm trying to upload the wrong ones, I don't know.)
Anyway, these are the specs of my system. HP ENVY DV-7 7270CA (less than 8 months old) running Windows 8 (as I wasn't able to update to 8.1. I got the 0x80000004 error, or whatever it was. I can't remember exactly), 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, Intel Core i7 3630QM, NVIDIA GT630M (2GB) GPU, and a 1TB 5400RPM HDD. Don't know what brand, I didn't check.
-Ram-TEST lasted nine hours and successfully completed
-Change the motherboard (ASUS Sabertooth 990FX From R2.0 to MSI 890FX-GD70, the latter shall use at this time, the other I sold it)
-Changed video card (ATI 6870 Updated NVIDIA 760)
-Replaced SSD where the system resides, had a value SMART wrong, incorrectly replaced by Samsung (EVO 250GB)
-Analyzed by-DUMP bluescreenanalizer and semrpe the same file with the same bug tails
-Windows-formatted 3 times already

Now I'll explain when I turn on my pc at COLD (the day after practically) happens to me .. and not always! However, if you reboot immediately after work PERFECTLY, and for hours and hours! without presenting problems or other, and even under stress. The next day, however, having been off the night it happens it happens .. this blue screen without doing anything specific! Coincidentally, sometimes even if I do nothing on windows just turned on, or a complete on the internet, or other, causally!
I started a thread a while ago and You Fellas diagnosed the problem was the faulty RAM. So I bought and replaced using 2 other slot of memory that wasn't used before (i have 4 slots). It took some time, but sadly it started crashing again. 4 dmps and routine stuff attached. It happens usually in games but it happens sometimes in desktop so its random for me. What component or anything else is corrupted.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWindows 8.1, I can reboot, login, and get to the desktop, but then about 2 or 3 minutes later it locks up and crashes with a DPC_WATCHDOG_ERROR.
I am attaching the file from diagnostic tool ....
For about two weeks I've sometimes been having a BSOD within five after startup (always, otherwise I won't get a BSOD until I restart):
"DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (iaStorA.sys)"
I've been posting on Techforums here: [URL]
And thought I might as well post here as well for other opinions while I test the drivers.
The crashes usually occur when the computer is not in use. I will move the mouse and either the screen will come to life... or the computer has crashed.
I updated NVIDEA drivers end of July and thought I fixed it. But apparently not.
Since yesterday, I keep getting Kernel Inpage Error like every 15 mins I turnd the computer on. It runs on pre-installed Windows 8 after I bought it new a year ago. In the past, I have been getting BSOD, but it is usually after I wake it from sleep mode and the error is IRQL EQUAL OR LESS ..

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 2 - 3 weeks ago, I've got a lot of bluescreens, and I've solved it by removing my USB wireless adapter and connecting to my router by using an Ethernet cable, this reduced the amount of them, I think that I only got one after that. In the last sunday, my hard drive broke and bought a new one in monday, and after formatting it and reinstalling Windows 8, the bluescreens returned and now they're more than ever!!!! And one thing I have noticed, is that two of them appeared when I was copying big files which total size was about 60 GB from a directory to another inside the C: .
I'm starting to think that this is related to the motherboard or something like that.
I walk away from my computer for a bit and come back to a BSOD. This happens quite regular. I have run my system both stock and highly overclocked. When it started BSODing on me I put it back to stock to see if that worked but it has not worked.
