i have a word document with many numbers in it, i would like to know is there a way to get the amount of numbers separately, similar to the word count option.

In the old Microsoft Word 2003, the user is capable of printing an address on the envelope with an associated bar-code to make the USPS sending process go much faster. I believe this was accessed through E-postage properties.On Word 2007, for some reason, the same functionality is absent. Word 2007 allows you to print an address, however; only absent the bar code. Is there a way to put this functionality back in 2007 or is there an alternative way to activate it?When accessing E-postage properties through the 2007 version, it's saying that you have to install a third party application.

I am planing on using a molex to 3 pin connector that comes with noctua fans, could I use 2 of those on the same cable to then add the splitter to, or do I want to use 2 cables and use 1 molex to 3 pin on each cable? I am using a Corsair HX650 PSU and I tried looking at their site under specifications but that info made no sense to me

I have 4 e-mail accounts. When receiving mail I don’t care from which account the mail came. Unfortunately Windows Mail displays all my accounts separately which results in unnecessary clutter for me. Is there any option I can setup Windows Live to display all my accounts together?
When I click and drag on the title-bar of a window the window border moves to the new location then when I release the mouse the window springs into the re-located border.This has only started to happen after I changed the partition size of my c: drive. Obviously, some setting has been changed and I have no idea as to how to reset it.

The only difference is that now, my OS is on an SSD drive (OCZ Petrol).However, I note that my memory usage is constantly increasing; even with only background apps running, I was up to 7GB. When I check Task Manager, I see that the "System" process's "Handles" count is constantly increasing. As I speak, it's almost at 1,000,000; last night I saw it get up to 4,000,000.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to an SSD. I moved windows 7 over to the new SSD and re-aligned the partition properly The drive setup is as follows:
2x 500GB WD Black drives in RAID 0
1x 120GB ADATA S510 SSD
In BIOS, RAID mode is enabled. You cannot enable RAID for one pair of drives and AHCI separately. I was assuming disks that are not part of the logical RAID volumes would be set to AHCI automatically. I have enabled NCQ in AMD RaidExpert for the SSD.WEI is 5.9 for the primary disk. The primary disk is the SSD.Other strange behanivour is that the RAID array and the SSD both appear as SCSI devices in device manager, and Windows won't accept the ahci drivers from ECS.
I bought this computer three months ago, and had no problems, up until now. It all started with it freezing up all of a sudden, forcing me to restart. But the display didn't show up. Tried again. Didn't work. Eventually, I removed my GPU and placed it back again, thinking it was loose. Then it finally worked.
Then it happened again. So after taking out my graphics card twice, it finally started working, but my HDD started making strange sounds. A sound I've never heard before, and only occurred during start up. I shrugged it off.
Now I start getting these sort of instances, when what ever program I have open, stops responding and Windows get's pretty laggy. The Windows Explorer (Not IE, the tool bar thing) also is unresponsive. I know it can't be a virus, Trend Micro showed no signs of anything after I scanned my computer a bunch of times.
So I did what any sane person would do, I did a bit of research on the net, and found this thread on this forums. The person here had a similar problem that I did. After reading most of the comments, I downloaded HDD SMART, as instructed, and apparently "Current Pending Sector Count" is yellow.
I ask if its possibly to make a F10 backup of my current drive so that should something go "pear shaped" then the option to restore my PC would be there.There is currently a hidden partition on my laptop with recovery software on it however as I resised the partition on the C drive this somehow "broke" the recovery software and is apparently a well know issue with Lenovo and their onekey recovery software.

But I run both Firefox and Aurora. For those who don't know, Aurora is the night build of the same Firefox. Windows, somehow detects them as the same thing, which they're not, and stacks the icons. i used to watch a lot of videos and tv shows online, and everything went great, videos loaded good, buffering was great, etc.. now i wanted to watch an episode of a show i missed on tv, so i went on putlocker and when i clicked play, it just kept doing this moving circle that means its loading. it kept doing this until i just gave up. after chrome didn't work i tried firefox, exact same problem. i've tried the same episode on the website movpod and exact same problem on both firefox and chrome, kept trying to load and fail...
now i reinstalled flash flayer, shockwave flash, etc., nothing. i tried same thing with different episodes and different shows , same problem. Internet videos loaded and worked perfectly, both 5 mins ones and 2hrs ones. i remember like a month and a half ago, after i stopped watching online, it kept said " shockwave flash crashed" so i got an answer where i got into somewhere with a list of a lot of things and i disabled something in shockwave flash that fixed the crashing problem but i never tried to watch online videos since then but i don't know how to enable that thing again.

View 8 Replies View RelatedReading these threads a lot I get the impression that a great many people think that simply by adding more RAM on a computer will automatically improve the performance.
This is not necessarily true as there are many many factors that need to be taken into account.
The amount of REAL RAM allocated by the OS is based on very complex algorithims and not purely on the size of the application being run. For example I might have a HUGE powerpoint presentation (say 50 MB -- a lot for a powerpoint demo) but the actual REAL RAM needed is of the order of a few KB (yes Kilobytes).
Most applications (possibly Photoshop is one of the rare exceptions) do not need to be 100% loaded into RAM while working. Only the amount of real data "pages" need to be accessed at any one time. The amount will obviously dependon what the application is doing , other processes etc etc.
For example in the power point example as above the data has to be transferred to a Video display -- whilst this is being done the next "slice" of data can be read from the "paging" disk.
Applications which wait a lot on input from the User (such as word processing) can use actually a very small amount of RAM since the keyboard input is far far slower than any DISK I/O required to get data from paging into real RAM.
So before you go "buying huge amounts of RAM" think what you actually need.
For a lot of people better graphics, faster CPU and above all FASTER DISKS might make for a snappier system than increasing the amount of RAM once you've got a reasonable base amount installed.
An 8GB RAM system with very slow disks and poor graphics is often far more frustrating to use than a 3GB machine with lightning fast disks and a decent graphic card irrespective of the CPU installed .
I would hazard a bet here that the biggest bottleneck in 99.9% of home systems is not RAM or graphic card but poor DISKS.
I have 4 GB RAM installed but XP Mode only has 512 MB available.
Is there anyway to increase this?
512 is very limiting.
