After installing i updated the system using windows update by connecting to the internet via my nokia n70 usb modem by installing the latest nokia pc suite,
during the update it was working fine, but after i restarted the system and again tried to connect to net via same, the nokia one touch access kept on showing opening port and then nothing is happening.
I went to the network adapter setting and clicked on nokia n70 usb modem(OTA)
It shows error 711 that remote access connection manager(RACM) failed to start in time.
Then checked my services there i found that the dependencies of RACM ie secure socket tunneling protocol is not running. I tried to start the service but was showing that sstp starts when it is used by some specific program or else then it automatically turns off.
I have been used nokia pc suite to bachup content from my phone to pc, but now I can`t do it! my phone connects to pc but nokia pc suite CAN`T read the content from my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing difficulties when trying to uninstall/reinstall my adobe product At the beginning of the month, I had some issues with the activation which caused the program to lock me out. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program thinking thatothing changed. Had to call adobe to deactivate my serial.Long story short, the adobe help center rectified the problem with my serialSupposedly anyway. I have no way to test it because my current installation of photoshop is corrupt due to this licensing mishap. The only way is to start fresh and install the program again.This is where the hitch is. As I previously mentioned, I was able to reinstall the program once without issue. Now, I can't even run the installer from the DVD. A window stating "Setup is initializing" appears, then quickly disappears. Nothing happens afterwards. Also, I am unable to remove the program from windows. The entry is there in "Programs and Features," however selecting the option to uninstall it does absolutely nothing. No window appears or anything.
The problem seems to only be with the adobe installer. I can remove my other applications and install new ones just fine. It's just for some reason Windows refuses to run the Adobe setup now. It doesn't make sense. The disc is not scratched at all and has never been stored outside its case. I'm at a complete loss what to do next. I can't remove it and I can't reinstall it.I am running Windows 7 64 bit. The rest of my PC specs can be found in my profile. CS3 has worked perfectly on the OS for over a year now. All these problems only appeared this month out of nowhere.
I purchased Windows 2003 and it is now obsolete. I need to replace with Windows 2007. I am a current job seeker and find Windows 2007 has many changes. Can I turn in my 2003 for an upgrade to 2007?

Intel Core 2 Duo 3.12 Ghz
nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX 512 MB PCI-e
320 GB Western Digital HD SATA
1 Gb DDR2 1066 MHz and 2x2Gb DDR2 1066 MHz SDRAM
I set my boot sequence to boot from DVD-ROM drive first, and HD second. It goes to the "Windows is loading files" screen and gets hung up. I started the process and went to watch TV for an hour, and it is still on the "Windows is loading files" screen. I haven't gotten any error messages. I've unplugged all USB devices from my computer as I have seen on this forum that it has worked for some people.
edited to add: I originally had only 2 Gb of RAM, and it got hung up at the "Windows is loading files" screen. I thought it was getting hung up because I didn't have enough RAM, so I bought brand new 2 sticks of 2 Gb RAM. I took out one of the 1 Gb sticks and placed both of the 2 Gb of RAM...for a total of 5 Gigs. And, it is still doing the same thing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just installed the new RC version of Win 7 and getting to grips with it and along the way discovering which software or existing applications will run on/with the new OS, so far not that many problems and Win 7 has XP mode/virtulisation, a very good application but something to be wary of IMO.
My problem lays with my Nokia N 95 8gb phone.
There are no more firmware updates for my phone, but I use the Nokia software to make back ups of my phone contents to my PC, again no problems, under Windows XP home or under Win 7.
I have the most recent Nokia software but am running into problems under Win 7, my Belkin bluetooth dongle and my phone can no longer find each other.
What I do get sometimes is a window informing me some Bluetooth peripheral is missing or can't be found, basically there are some drivers missing but I'm not sure if it's in the nokia software/updater or Win 7, iIf I try to update drivers, I can't boxes are greyed out.
The next issue and I guess connected to the above and a lot more troublesome for me is I use my phone a lot as a camera and upload my pictures using a Belkin Bluetooth dongle, never had a problem until today,
I can not get the phone to recognise or connect to the dongle or vice versa under WIN 7, I cannot transfer a photo from my phone to my PC using Bluetooth, the phone informs me of a failed connection.
The dongle firmware has been updated.
Not a problem I thought, I'll install and run the original dongle software and the original Nokia PC suite software in Win 7 XP mode,( which is XP pro ), nothing doing, I'm running in to the same brick wall and problem.
This has surprised me a bit as everything worked great under my old OS, XP Home.
I have looked at the Nokia forums, no joy, although there does appear to be issues.
Where does the problem lay, can I get my Nokia phone/ bluetooth to run under WIN 7 or in XP mode?
I have a nokia 5130 xpress music. But when I connect to the PC, Windows does not recognize as normal. Already installed the nokia pc suite, and for drivers already have everything installed.

Before on the xp laptop she used to work with Microsoft works Suite 2001that ran Microsoft Works 6.0 and mainly the Picture It part of the suite using the Picture It, Publishing 2001 Set up Design and Art.She still likes this prog as she is very comfortable with it and it does just what she wants it to do. The problem was that when she went to open one of her files it was a php file and tho she has got Office 2007 on her new pc it will not open the file. I tried to install the worksuite 2001 onto the new pc from the original discs that we have and after a while an error comes up unable to load dll file ?? I turn off the CA firewall and everything works fine again, but I want to properly configure the firewall for MCE communications.I called CA Tech support and they started to help, but then refused to continue once the support supervisor was contacted regarding my problem, indicating it was up to me to obtain and sort out the port problem.Having read several posts on various sites on the topic outlining theoretical solutions, I have yet to find a do-this-it-works-and-solves-the-problem post. View 6 Replies View RelatedI sent my laptop to a family friend for some free hardware repairs, but after discovering that my computer was highly infected with viruses the technician decided to save my data on an external hard drive and then do a reinstall/repartitioning of windows. I haven't installed anything on my laptop since getting it back, but have run testdisk, AOMEI partition assistant, and photorec from my external hard drive in an attempt to recover about 30 Gb of hidden and encrypted data that was housed in my Yo-Safe. I don't think the data would have been overwritten, but I haven't been able to locate it yet.
