Nokia N70 Usb Modem Is Not Working
my nokia n70 usb modem is not working as it is fire-walled, also not accessing the port on which it is connected,
so that the remote access connection manager cannot run while i try to connect.

Network Nokia N91 Problem With Modem
Under Windows7 RC 7100 with a modem (Nokia N91, with pcsuite driver last version), the internet connection worked well at the beginning, and after a few days, without changing anything, it now always says "no network access", with the yellow triangle. I'm in the African bush without any local help but crocodiles for suicide in case I can't solve the issue with you… All troubleshooting have not detected any issue. The modem is still connecting to the computer (Dell studio 17), IPs are appearing, but "no network access". On another computer under xp, the internet access is working fine. I have already: - unticked the IPv6 - switched off the other network cards (ethernet and wireless) in order to avoid conflicts - switched off the windows firewall - rebooted - tried public and office networks (home network  impossible without IPv6)

Device Stage Nokia 6300 Not Working
I tried to use my Nokia 6300 with device stage but it doesn't appear to be recognized natively, I ended up installing Nokia's PC Sync Software instead. All I have to do is plug in my phone via the link cable (USB btw) right? Can anybody tell me if I am doing something wrong or the exact steps or something.

Can't Connect To Net Via Nokia One Touch / Nokia Pc Suite
Recently installed Windows 7 build 7600. After installing i updated the system using windows update by connecting to the internet via my nokia n70 usb modem by installing the latest nokia pc suite, during the update it was working fine, but after i restarted the system and again tried to connect to net via same, the nokia one touch access kept on showing opening port and then nothing is happening. I went to the network adapter setting and clicked on nokia n70 usb modem(OTA) It shows error 711 that remote access connection manager(RACM) failed to start in time. Then checked my services there i found that the dependencies of RACM ie secure socket tunneling protocol is not running. I tried to start the service but was showing that sstp starts when it is used by some specific program or else then it automatically turns off.

Nokia NTP USB Device Driver
RC 64bit Build 7100 Connecting Nokia N96 mobile phone by usb cable . Windows 7 successfully instals the drivers for the phone with the exeception of the MTP USB Device driver. I have installed both the Nokia PC Suite (for Vista) and the Nokia Nseries PC suite which should have the required drivers. Reconnecting the phone or rebooting trigger re instalation of the driver for the MTP device bit the driver ultimatley fails to load. I have triggered re instalation in the Device Manager bu removing the device but no success.

3 Usb Modem / Dongle Win7
this unit was working but my server,perlico, sent me a new zyxel wireless modem and after a lot of problems i eventually got it working,but now i cannot my dongle to work,i keep getting message 633.i uninstalled the program and inserted the dungle and it reinstalled the program but it still will not open,tried on a friengs laptop and worked perfect, any ideas.

USB ZTE Modem Driver
I have a problem, with a USB modem, the USB ZTE modem, Type MODEM 3G multi-mode, GSM / GPRS / EDGE / WCDMA / HSDPA. This device is not identified by the system. As you plug it in, nothing happens because windows doesn't recognize it at all as a modem. The driver doesnt work. I supose It will need a brand new driver in order to work. So Microsoft windows 7 developers, wake up and begin to work on a solution. This kind of modems are getting more and more used.

Modem And USB Reader Problems
After installing I get just a bit to many Modems installed! 29 in fact! Good thing I don't use this modem. The below pic shows it all. Any suggestions on how to fix? I tried uninstalling it , but it just reinstalls all of them right back! http://i42.tinypic.com/9hqkok.jpg  The other question is I have USB readers in this PC "Came with it" They shows up in the Devise Manager but not under The "Computer" in the Menu! Huawei E169 USB 3g Modem Driver
I can't get my Huawei 169 modem to function in Windows 7, I've tried both build 6801 and 6956 -same result As soon as I plug the modem in Windows 7 recognizes it as a usb disk, I can access the disk and launch the on board installer. I've downloaded the latest driver from the Huawei site, but the installer fails with the error "can't find any modem" If I do a hardware scan in the device manager only the usb disk turns up, but not the modem. I'm using this modem on this laptop in both WinXP and OSX without any problems, so the modem and PC is allright... Is there any special windows 7 services that I need to start?

i have alcatel usb modem and recantly its always blogoff by its self and re blogon ( by its self ) its big problem for me cuz when its blogoff my internet off if i start it ( connect internet ) its delet the drivers!! and cut internet then its re install the drivers agine. and always like that. some time its still connected for a 1hur but most time its cut after i start internet and some time loop beofre i start connecting it

ZTE USB Modem Drops Connection
My ZTE USB Modem connects to my service provider and I can launch IE to a home page, however after just a few seconds it disconnects and then shows there is no signal to connect to although before it showed 4 1/2 bars of signal. If I click disconnect, wait for it to time out then close the Modem software and then relaunch it it shows signal again, connects, then disconnects a few seconds later. This modem worked fine on Windows XP SP3 and Vista.

Remove USB Modem Cause Blue Screen
Whenever I am in the process of shutting down Windows 7 and if I removed the USB modem(ADSL) cable, Windows 7 crashes with blue screen(some times system simply gets turned off without proper shut down).This happens only during the shut down process, If I removed USB cable any other time there is no problem. I've not tried removing any other usb devices during the shut down process. I will try later to see if this is problem only with USB modem or all USB devices.I am using HP 2133 Mini Note with VIA C-7 processor 1.2Ghz, 2 gb RAM. Has anyone else faced this problem? Please let me know if there are any fixes/workaround to this problem.

Wimax Usb Modem Card Drivers Not Found
i recently picked up a wimax usb internet card however the drivers are not being found for window 7 and there is no power going to the device. Currently clear a wimax company is not supporting the issue intill windows 7 goes full lauch and then it could take another month or so before the patch is lauched. I have a buddy who is doing his own code to fix the problem but any help will be greatful.

USB Modem Driver USBSER.SYS Does Not Install
The company I work for has a product with a USB Device port implementing the CDC class. Our driver is based on Microsoft's USBSER.SYS driver and we provide the specific INF files so that our product installs as a virtual COM port or as a Modem. It works well on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit versions but I fail to install the same driver for the Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise trial version. The error message is: Windows was unable to install your unknown device. Windows could not find driver software for your device. If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software. Does anyone have any insight on the possible reason for failure and how we can fix our driver?

Cayman 3300 Series USB Broadband Modem
Windows 7 does not see my Cayman 3300 series USB broadband modem at all, even when it is the only USB device connected and no matter which USB port is used. When I try to load the drivers, even in Vista or XP compatibility modes, it cannot recognise that the modem is connected. The modem does not appear in the devices screen in Control Panel. So, I have no internet connection under Windows 7 and therefore cannot easily participate in the Beta evaluation process. I am using Windows 7 in dual boot mode with Vista Ultimate, in separate partitions. As I have no operational modem in Windows 7, this message and message viewing is done with Vista, so the modem works with no problems under Vista.
