Unable To Get Into Genes Reunited And Follow Links From Emails?
Jan 24, 2012
No trouble with any other websites and have used G Reunited for 18 months with perfect results. This has been a problem since Christmas. No access or occasionally terribly slow to do so. Also same when following links in GR emails . Can't find a contact number and have sent Emails to "contact@genesreunited.co.uk" No response from them for 10 days altho' I received a confirmation for the sub renewal I have just renewed for 12 months. Now feel sore I cant use their website or links?
Outlook displays the following message when I click on a link in email: "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." I sometimes wish I had a 'system administrator'. This is just my home pc. I can't think of any changes I made. This is Outlook 7 on Windows 7 Home Premium.
I recently purchased an HP Pavilion g7 laptop. It has Windows 7 and I have Internet Explorer 9. When I click on links in my emails it opens up a new tab, but does not open the actual web page. In addition some links on webpages don't work (for instance the Print link on Google Maps). My popup blocker is turned off. What do I have to do to get these links to work?
When I write emails in Outlook 2007 and write a link it looks like it is not active but when I read the email after sending, I can see that the link is active since it is underlined www.example.link but when I write it it is not underlined [URL]
Why is that and how can I change it so it looks active when writing it? Some of the people receiving my emails says the links are not active so they have to copy/paste the links into their browser.??
I'm running W7 on my generic laptop at home, and without any changes instigated by myself, have the following situation appearing:When I click on a link in an email, the following message appears;'This operation has been canceled due to a restriction in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator'.
I am sole usewr/administrator. I am unable to click on email links .says refer to systems administrator. I have gfone into REGEDIT.EX /HKEY LOCAl MACHINE and set up for everyone to have full use but it hasn't worked.
I have several machines that are unable to open files from links/attachments, it appears to only have the problem with Word/Excel/Web links as PDF and PowerPoint appear to open correctly (although possibly a bit slow)For example if I receive an Excel attachment if I try to open it directly from the attachment, Excel opens, however the spreadsheet itself never opens. If Excel is already open when I attempt to open the document, it will then open the document. It does the same thing for Word where it opens word but not the document, unless word is already openWhen you click a web link, it does not even open Internet Explorer, however if you have IE open when you click the link, it will open the page in a new tab.
I still cant get the email links on a web page and email link in IE 8's toolbar to work. I did the work around for windows mail and got it working in Windows 7 but these last 2 fixes are eluding me at the moment, any ideas?
I use Microsoft Outlook for my email. Computer is operation on indows 7. When I get an email with a link to a website, I get the following message:This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.
My home page is BT Yahoo supported by Internet Explorer. I am unable to play video clips from links, say Sports, but videos can be played from received emails??

Also when I look in devices and printers folder it shows up the printer with a tick showing default,Then beside that there is a greyed out printer of the same with 'copy 1' underneath it. I also had a box popping up on screen ''Script error''Yellow triangle'top left. Line 2107 Char 1 error Invalid procedure call or argument Code 0 URL:res//ieframe.dll/preview.js..Do you want to continue running scripts on this page YES NO.
I have just started using Windows Live Mail a few weeks ago. I sent a mass email out to a bunch of people regarding a club event. A message pops up saying: The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for 'email address', please contact your email service provider. Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC79 Now every time I exit Windows Live it says you have unsent messages in your inbox, do you want to send them now? When I push yes, the same message as above comes up. And when I exit the program and restart it, I cannot send emails but I can recieve them.
I am trying to trouble shoot my boss' laptop. We have tried to set him up on Windows Live to use while he is at home and on the road. We have a server and it is setup/configured on his laptop correctly as it works EVERYWHERE else besides his home. I am guessing it is a Firewall or Router Setting issue. Since I don't go to his home, I am unable to trouble shoot it there - His family has an IPAD an ITOUUCH a personal computer and another laptop and they all send and receive mail fine. It is just my boss' laptop - Windows 7 - Home Edition - 64bit - Dell. Thinking maybe I need to change the port # in the settings on Microsoft Live. BTW - we do have him set up to use the Exchange by logging into our IP - but he just cannot seem to get the hang of doing that - even though i have everything shortcutted and instructions on the desktop...Also have had him just use Log Me In - and he doesn't like the small screen..
I am operating Windows 7 with IE9 as default browser. I use outlook for my e-mail. Recently while downloading a program I inadvertantly allowed Google Chrome to be installed.. I have uninstalled google, rebooted but when attempting to follow hyperlinks in my email I get the message that that operation has been cancelled due to computer restrictions and to contact systems administrater. That's me. My settings show IE 9 as my default browser.
I have a Dell Inspiron laptop which came with Windows Home Premium already installed. The only problem I have is that I am unable to access some links on certain web pages. I can look at photos, get contact names and various other information, but some links just don't work, even though they are on the same page.
I am using windows 7 and when I open a web site and then try to open a link within that site all I get is a tab that is blank and has a question mark on it. It doesn't do this for all links but it does for most of them.
I am having trouble following links on web pages. sometimes I get to the page I need, but most of the time it doesn't work. I then have to copy and paste the shortcut address into the address bar at the top of the page. Have I got something set up wrong
I've been having trouble opening links from one webpage to another. If while browsing I come across a link and click it, it just opens a blank page. At times I have to refresh the adress bar of the newly opened tab to get what I want and at other times it doesn't wrk at all.
This has affected my browsing much that I dont feel like using IE anymore but I do like IE.
