Sep 30, 2012I have an HP Jornada 540 pocket PC. Since the time I have upgraded my computer OS to Windows 7, i have not been able to connect and snch my pocket PC. Any gr8 ideas?

Unable To Sync Computers Over Ethernet Cable
Dec 28, 2009I have just installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop and now find that I can no longer sync (I'm using Syncback SE) over a patch cable between ethernet ports. I had previously been doing this quite effectively on Windows XP and my procedure was.
1. Both computers were in the same workgroup and accessed the same wireless network (secure).
2. Ethernet patch cable - usually showed up in the lower right corner as having 'limited or no access'.
3. Shared my user folder on the laptop (after disabling wireless for security - but this worked whether wireless was disabled or not)
4. Ran Syncback SE ver 4.1.3.0. and synced my files between the laptop and desktop.
Then I bought Win7U for the desktop, and the same procedure as above worked fine between Win7U-desktop and WinXP-laptop.
Then I bought Win7U for the laptop, and what happened next was odd :
1. It worked like a dream - really fast transfers etc, scanning very fast. I think that at this time I had somehow managed to put both in the homegroup but they were communicating over the ethernet.
2. As the sync was taking place I launched ITunes and synced my iPhone. It may be coincidence, but the ethernet cable connection was lost at that point.
3. Now I cannot re-establish the ethernet connection.
What is the correct procedure for achieving what I'm trying to do above ? Why does HomeGroup insist on using my wireless connection instead of using the ethernet cable direct connection ?
<whine on> In my close to 20 years of using Microsoft Windows, why haven't they managed to make two Windows PCs recognise each other and share files quickly and simply, like you can with that other OS.....<whine off>
Unable To Sync IPhone 4 With ITunes On Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Aug 20, 2012My old computer crashed and I'm now on a new PC with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I installed the latest iTunes successfully, but found that my iPhone 4 is now not syncing with it. It can detect the phone, but it's not adding or deleting anything - apps, music or photos. I used to be able to select a Photo Folder to sync from the PC hard drive, but now it no longer works. It, however, works well with my notebook which is running on Win Vista.
There is no error message, the sync and backup apparently goes on only for a few seconds, and then iTunes says it is searching for which apps to install but nothing changes. Even when I've clicked Apply.
I've also tried closing iTunes and I've rebooted the phone but no dice. I've also uninstalled iTunes to reinstall. Doesn't work either. And yes, I installed with the 64-bit installer.

I am trying to connect to a network (I have a dell running on windows 7) and it keeps telling me that windows is unable to connect to the network-this is before I can even enter the security key. I know it is not a problem with the wireless because other people are able to connect to it fine.

i'm running a geforce gtx 660m, all drivers are up to date. the files that work are: mp4, files that don't work are: mkv, avi

But after moving my computer to a new room the Internet connection stopped working. Mar 12, 2012I recently got Windows 7 on one of my desktops. I plugged in my Logitech 5.1 speaker system and I am getting absolutely nothing out of them. I went through the obvious checks (not muted). I was then searching my computer for evidence of the speakers even being recognized, and as far as I can tell they are not. I have Realtek High Definition Audio, and I've tried disabling/enabling this several times accompanied with a couple restarts of the computer.I understand I may need to update my drivers but at this point I'm unable to connect to the internet (Will have access in a couple days). I have searched this problem on my other computers and I'm getting mixed answers. I've heard my soundcard may not be compatible, the drivers are out dated, or I may want to use something other than Realtek.
