I am not able to connect wifi on my laptop..Its signal strength is excellent but do not know why i could not getting connected to it..But I am able to connect to wifi on my both phones and every other device...But not on laptop..It was working fine day before but not today.
My father bought a new laptop last few days and the thing is,his laptop can't connect to our wi fi (home).I feel weird because everyone's laptops in the house can connect to wi fi and he can't.Does it mean that he need to fix something or what? He owns Acer aspire one happy series and everytime he tries to connect to the internet,it says "limited connection" but the signal is excellent.
I have Acer ASPIRE 4745 notebook with me.,the problem is that i am unable to connect it to my WiFi,which i can easily to my phone but i am finding it difficult to connect it to notebook.,and i want to know the exact drivers for using WiFi.
Every one else is using a WiFi in my home except me.I don't know why.Whenever I'm trying to connect,I'm getting message,Windows was unable to connect.
I have checked in Network adapters option,My device is working properly. I was able to use if a day before or so but not now. I have to use Ethernet cable to use Internet now.
I used to use my laptop to connect to this router's wifi and have no problem at all.Recently I am unable to connect to it most of the time, and it shows a yellow triangle on the wifi signal icon with an exclamation mark , sometimes okay but then very slow. iPad and iPhone can both connect to the wifi with no problem, and my friend's laptop is fine as well.So it seems that it is my laptop's problem.I tried to use the cable to connect and is fine though somehow still a bit slower than normal
My computer has an issue connecting to the internet wireless at my house but every where else computer can connect to their wireless internet. The laptop can connect through a direct connection at my house. I don't know what to really do or go to as i am not that familiar with windows 7.
I am unable to connect to the internet in wireless mode. It shows the available networks, but does not connect when I type in my router password. I have tried everything I know of. Uninstalled/Reinstalled the driver - I have an Intel 5100 AGN wireless driver installed. I disabled and enabled it. Didn't work. Running command prompt and typing in ipconfig /all doesn't detect my adapter device - says "Media Disconnected".I also did these by running command prompt as an administrator: Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalogReset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.logReset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.logand restarted my computer. I have a Dell Studio 1555 with Win 7 (32-bit) Professional. What am I supposed to do now? Please help!PS: I know this is a problem with my Windows as the wireless works seamlessly in my Ubuntu.
Last night I was on the internet at home absolutely fine and my laptop automatically downloaded an update, since then I have been unable to connect to my wi-fi. I deleted the updates and was still unable to connect, so I tried to used a system recovery restore point and every one I use starts but fails to complete. So, I did a factory reset after around 8 hours of trying to sort it out today and I STILL have the same problem. I can plug in the cable to connect and my housemate is having absolutely no issues connecting and neither is my phone so now I am at a total loss what I should do to resolve this. Prior to the factory reset I was able to connect to the wi-fi but it was stating no network access/limited access and now it simply won't connect to my internet at all. It finds my full strength signal but will not connect. My drivers for the Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n card are the most up to date and the laptop (HP G62) says it is working fine.
i have a samsung galaxy ace. my laptop is accessing internet through wifi from my friend's building. So can i access internet in my samsung galaxy through wifi from my laptop? if yes..how?
Can anyone advise how I would go about fixing this. I am trying to connect to a network (I have a dell running on windows 7) and it keeps telling me that windows is unable to connect to the network-this is before I can even enter the security key. I know it is not a problem with the wireless because other people are able to connect to it fine.
i tried to connect to my school wifi and then it shows a yellow triangle over it and , it said no internet acces but i can connect to my house wifi only i have tried to connect to others... and it have a yellow triangle over it .
Until yesterday morning I had a good wifi signal. We are in France and run on Nordnet Satellite Internet. However, now I have an exclamation mark on signal bar and no internet access. We are on Nordnet Satellite and I am running WIndows 7 on a Sony Vaio laptop. It is not the router as my husband's laptop is working fine with no connection problems. I can connect to internet by using cable but not wifi which is very inconvenient as I have to keep bringing the computer downstairs.Have done diagnostic check and error is: Windows cannot connect with the device or resource (primary DNS server)Computer also trying to connect by cellular profile (which is the O2 dongle that I use when I go to the UK). I keep getting the O2 box up asking me if I want to connect which it did (without the dongle inserted) but although it will bring up Google it won't connect to anything.I'm not very technical but have done the obvious things like system restore and checking the adaptor settings in Network and Sharing but just can't figure out what the problem is. If I try to set up a new connection it just keeps referring back to the cellular profile which is presumably for O2?
Running Windows 7 Home Premium on a netbook. Since yesterday get message "Windows cannot connect to wifi". Running checks suggests resetting the router, but two other devices, an IPad and an almost identical netbook are connected no problem. I havn't changed anything. It can see the router. Done normal reboots, disconnect reuse connect adapter etc. no luck. This has happened before on two other computers on different routers, and we don't know what eventually fixed it, although changing the encryption method might have solved one of them, even though that computer had been connecting for weeks before the failure. The only one of our family devices never to have experienced this is the IPad.
This is the net book I upgraded to windows 7 ultimate 32-bit. Asus Eee PC 900HD - ProductWiki unbiased product reviewsIt shows available networks, but when I try to connect it says "windows was unable to connect to network". I tried using Windows network diagnostics to try and fix it, but it didn't work. I also tried resetting my router and removing the password from my network, but those didn't work either.
I just recently bought an Acer Aspire 5250 fro rent a center and for a while I was able to connect to Wifi, but I can't anymore. i have barely downloaded anything or installed anything, so that can't be it, I've googled this problem and everything, i disabled the wireless adapter and re-enabled it and nothing happened. Any clue what DID happen? I'm currently connected to the internet with my Wireless card from my cell phone company.
Running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit hereAm unable to connect to any NEW Wifi Networks that are detected. The WiFi Adapter sees them just fine - just cannot connect to them. However am able to connect to existing networks (SSIDs that already appear in "Manage Wireless Networks").Furthermore, If I boot into my Windows 7 Enterprise for work, everything works good. For example:I have a saved WiFi connection for my Verizon Hotspot device, that I can always connect to.But if am at hotel (no encryption), and want to connect to their wireless, It fails to connect.
My computer has worked fine (relatively) since i built it in... 2007. Two weeks ago i stopped being able to use the wifi card on the computer. It kept getting an error saying it failed to start. Uninstalling the drivers/reinstalling/updating them didn't seem to do anything.Eventually I did a Windows repair, took the card out, uninstalled the drivers, put the card back in and it worked. The only side effect, is that my PC no longer remembers the password of the router. I have to double click my SSID each time and re-enter the password. Its getting kinda annoying. WLAN AutoConfig is running as an automatic start.
the original operating system for my samsung rv510 crushed sometime ago so i replaced it with win7 professional. the problem now is that i cannot connect to a wi-fi or use the webcam
I am going crazy. I bought this Samsung Laptop with Win7. The system finds my wifi network and asks for my password but it wont connect and everytime it gives me a different error
- Problem with Wireless Adapter or access Point
- dhcp is not enabled for wireless network connection 3
- Not favorite profile selected
I tried the usual unplugging the modem/router, didnt work. I plugged the laptop directly to the modem, didnt work.
I know this is far less related to Windows 7 issues (completely unrelated :P), and more related to hardware and such, but anyway. I am on an absolutely pathetic internet connection of 20gb a month (Internet in New Zealand was monopolised by Telecom, and the industry went nowhere for years, our speeds are stupid and the prices would be considered unacceptable in many countries). Me and a friend do a lot of data sharing, and he also hosts a minecraft server, which uses a lot of internet. Luckily for me, he moved in 4 houses down from me. Our solution was going to be for me to connect to his wifi connection from my house, and just to be safe, from his end I would be restricted to his Lan network, but not internet data :P.However after fruitless attempts to make a home made yagi antenna from everything from a fly cover for a large dish to a kitchen wok, nothing worked and we ran short of ideas. Does anyone know of a cheap way we could accomplish this? We could buy a yagi antenna (for those of you that don't know thats like long range wifi antenna
