I have avermedia avertv volar ax, and first time when i installed windows7 build 7100 work normally, after restart the images are in negative color( mean black is shown white.etc),
please i donât figured what happened why doesn't work after restart, i tried anything setting on my usb tv tuner, inclusive upload driver and application but nothing.
I used to have folders with a display of pictures on the front. Now I have plain folders, when opened, they have an icon to click and the a large picture shows up. I would like to open the folder and see the thumbprints immediately. Toshiba Satellite running Win 7.

I purchased my new computer on Christmas 2008 due to the sales they had that day. When I first got it, it work perfectly fine without even downloading the drivers. I'm a developer for a game and I use various software needed for graphics editing. I play a 10 year old game (Sony's Infantry) almost everyday on average for 1 to 3 hours a day and my system temps are pretty normal. Around 40-50C temps when playing. I use compressed air every 2 weeks and my case is nice and tidy so there's no dust bunnies or anything of that sort.The problem arose during the month of August 2009. There were no artifacts or blue screens or anything like that. The computer would just suddenly turn off on its own and when I tried to power it on, it did not display a picture. I saw the CPU fans spinning, the HDDs were running, all the cables are connected properly, the video card (sapphire 4850) fan was on and there's 1 beep code.
I asked my friend to borrow his old 8600GT and my computer worked normally. He suggests that my PSU may not be supplying enough juice to the GPU. I thought it might have been the mobo. But my friend is more knowledable than I am. I ended up buying a new PSU. The PSU ended up not solving the problem. Then I buy the same exact card that gave me the problem and a new motherboard and installed the drivers.. that didnt do it either. With basically a brand new computer minus the RAM, I end up with the same results.

I have a Dell XPS 15 (L502X) laptop withIntel Core i7-2630QM processor6 GB DDR3 RAM15.6" Full HD LED Screen2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT540M with OptimusMy display was a little 'warm'. I mean that what should appear as white didn't appear white, instead it appeared creamy (i.e. according to RGB scheme, the red content in the display was more than what is required.)To fix this, I did thisRight Click Desktop > Personalize > Display > Calibrate Color and then adjusted the red and green bars to make the color settings proper. Now, the display is as I want it to be.The problem is that when the PC reboots or when an UAC window pops up, the settings are lost and again my display becomes 'warm'/creamy. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded my box from XP Pro to Windows7 Ultimate and the first thing that I noticed was the icon pictures when using the Thumbnail view.
With XP Pro, when the Thumbnail viewing mode was used a miniature picture of the actual picture represented by the icon was actually displayed on the icon. If the icon represented a folder containing multiple pictures, then the folder was divided into quarters displaying 4 micro picture taken from within that folder.
Now when it comes to the same usage in Windows 7, I find when in the Thumbnail viewing mode. ALL such icons are now depicted as a generic icon that shows a picture view of a spit of land protruding into a body of water and as such, finding a particular photo/picture is far more awkward than before.
My question: Is there a way that I can remedy this shortfall and set up Windows 7 Thumbnail viewing mode so that I can once again view a miniature of the within picture having it displayed on the actual Thumbnail icon?
I can't see my pictures, only a generic with the download number. How can I change this back to seeing the actual picture so I know what I'm choosing without having to preview each one?

And when trying to use it, she would receive a "product being used by another program" error. After spending an entire day searching for a solution, I discovered that it was a common Dazle 100 problem with Windows 7, and we gave up and decided to purchase an Avermedia DVD Ezmaker Gold, which is listed on windows compatibility checklist as compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. The product arrived in the mail, and after first being connected, gave a "driver error" message.When the drivers finally installed, attempts to use the product are met with no video or audio feed by the program that came with it, and a "check to see that its working properly and not in use" and "parameter is incorrect" error on third party software. A driver check from the computer manufacturers site says all the drivers are up to date.

Is there any negative impact to purchasing a laptop with Windows 7 Professional vs. Windows 7 Home? I am purhcasing a new laptop and would prefer if I could to have the "Home" version of the Operating System (this is what I have on my current laptop now);however, many of the Black Friday deals are for pre-built models that already have the "Professional" version installed.Just wondering if there is any negative impact with a laptop that will be for personal non-professional use that has the "Professional" operating system.

When doing this I can use either Nvidia's controls or windows controls (right click desktop>Nvidia Control Panel. When using Nvidia's Control Panel, there are two choices: Use other applications control color settings or Use Nvidia settings. Am I correct in assuming that the former setting is Windows? I always check the button to use Nvidia settings (and then Apply>OK), but when I go back to this screen at a later time, the Other applications control color settings is always selected. I'd like to default to Nvidia.

Windows 7 behaves as though dual display is working even though monitor 1 does not display. It's the same for single display, the monitor will not work on cable 1 except at startup.Both 'Extend these displays' in Windows Screen Resolution and 'Extend' in the Nvidia Control Panel is selected. And changing which one is primary does not turn on monitor 1. Linux worked: Dual display worked immediately when I tried it in Ubuntu 10. So, it's not the hardware. It works in Ubuntu 12 too but not properly -it won't transfer windows across displays. My Windows 7 64 is an upgrade from Vista 64. One person in another forum with the same problem resolved theirs by reinstalling Windows 7. But another got the same problem only after a fresh clean install of Windows 7 64 with the same GeForce 8400 GS and DMS-59 when it had previously worked in Vista. View 6 Replies View RelatedI installed this on the weekend on Windows 7. "Works" fine...but it only finds the SBS channels....no Channels 2, 7, 9, 10.
THe SBS channels (incl the HD) work fine, no 'buffering', no freezing, and I was able to record a show (Rockwiz) on Sat night, but no other channels sort of bugs me....
Rescan using Windows Media Centre didnt fix issue. Also, now that I have used WMC, the actual Pinnacle rescan doesn't work at all. I get "Error" next to the USB device inside the Pinnacle Rescan window.
I have windows 7 on my pc. I was told i could watch tv on it. Do i have to have something special to do that?
