I have real player and I'm sure you guys are aware that it has an add on that allows you to download videos of the internet. Well, every time I download a movie, my movies never seem to finish. The download tab says they're done downloading, but once I play them they are usually only 1/3 or half of the movie downloaded.

Everytime I tried to open [URL](my IP camera video stream file); realPlayer Basic v14 kept opening an upgrade to realPlayer Plus window. When I click on "No thanks" another window for free trial opened. This was an endless loop. The IP camera video stream is H264 format and streams just fine on my other Windows 7 PC. Well, to make a long story short; the Win 7 Pro machine did not have QuickTime player installed which provided the H264 codec needed. I installed QuickTime and the IP camera now streams via realPlayer 14. I suspect you could install any H264 codec and accomplish the same thing and avoid the Plus upgrade.

I have tried everything to get the vlc media player to install on my laptop which has windows 7. Ive done the troubleshooting with changing my security on my browser, tried downloading it from different sites, all to no avail. Im about to post a question on yahoo answers and see where that gets me. But first I thought I'd share it here.
I'm having extremely hard time downloading Flash Player. I recently upgraded my Windows from Vista to 7. I went into You Tube and the Flash Player warning came on You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video." It also said that I have to download Flash Player, which I did. When I am downloading, the Flash Player is first slow in getting the application. When it does it takes about a minute to begin to install. The red bar begins to fill in the bar, then it stops at 12%. It then shows a timeout word. I took this as the Flash Player had a hard time downloading in the time that is requested. I've done something's that I have thought would speed up the download. I have transferred a lot of important files onto my external drive and deleted the files on my C: Drive.

I use the latest version of firefox and use Dodo wireless broadband and I can never get beyond 98% of a download, it's very frustrating when certain programs have to be updated to even run. According to dodo's signal charts I should be in the best location for their signals and when I contact them they refuse to take any responsibility for it. I wasted countless gigs on downloads that just won't finish. Is there anything I can do to make the downloads finish? I've tried disabling my anti virus, firewalls, tried using IE8, NOTHING WORKS!
I have 2 ssd's raid-0 and 2 hdd's raid-1 connected to the ich10r. Both have or I should say had windows 7 installed. I want a back up windows on the hdd's. All was good until I decided I wanted the hdd's connected to the Marvell controller so that the sdd's and hdd's are on separate chips.I have been trying to get windows 7 to reinstall to the hdd's now connected to the Marvell 9128 all day. It won't finish the install. It goes all the way through to the last step, reboots and I get: (File:BootBCD. Status: 0xc0000225)
I've been using TechTracker for years, but today I hit a wall with the VLC Player update from ver. 2.0.1 to ver. 2.0.2. I am using Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit system and have no problems with anything else. When the download from CNET ended, I got an error msg. saying the download failed. So, I opened up VLC Player, checked for updates, got the notice that a major update was available and downloaded it. When the download completed, VLC Player crashed and asked if I wanted to send in a crash report. I clicked on "Yes" and immediately got a new popup window saying that it failed to reach the FTP server.
