View 1 Replies View RelatedFollow this thread from the W8 Forum,Works fine for me (and some others). I'm using W8 X-64 and the 64 bit version of VLC (2.0.5). Windows 8 blu ray player FREE,Same should work on Windows 7 -- can't see any reason why not (although I haven't actually tested it yet on Windows 7). If it doesn't work - I'm only trying to provide some info here for you -- VLC usually works for anything I've ever thrown at it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust an hour back, I stumbled upon this FreeSmith Free Video Player, that said it can play 200+ blu-ray movie disks. FreeSmith Video Player -- Free All-in-one media player Support Different Media Types Audio, Video, DVD, Blu-ray, all can be played smoothly with the smart FreeSmith video player. It supports almost all popular audio and video formats by default, including MKV, AVI, MP4, MPEG, FLV, WMV, HD and more. Besides, it offers you convenience to play DVD and blu-ray discs.
When the 8MB download completed, Windows 7 said that this type of file is not normally downloaded and can cause harm. But Softpedia had certified that it is free of any malware. ( I normally do not care for these warnings, smug in the fact that I can always restore my system in the event of any mishap and try all software but some people do take it seriously.)
OK, I played Night at the Museum 2 briefly and it did play the BD. ( My computer did not crash )So anyone wanting a free Blu-ray player can try this out.
But let me say, sooner or later you would like to changeover to the regular blu-ray software players which are a class apart. These freeware playerss can only be fillers.
I have window 7 ultimate 32 bit & I do not have flash player 10 to be download
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having extremely hard time downloading Flash Player. I recently upgraded my Windows from Vista to 7. I went into You Tube and the Flash Player warning came on You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video." It also said that I have to download Flash Player, which I did. When I am downloading, the Flash Player is first slow in getting the application. When it does it takes about a minute to begin to install. The red bar begins to fill in the bar, then it stops at 12%. It then shows a timeout word. I took this as the Flash Player had a hard time downloading in the time that is requested. I've done something's that I have thought would speed up the download. I have transferred a lot of important files onto my external drive and deleted the files on my C: Drive.

I have real player and I'm sure you guys are aware that it has an add on that allows you to download videos of the internet. Well, every time I download a movie, my movies never seem to finish. The download tab says they're done downloading, but once I play them they are usually only 1/3 or half of the movie downloaded.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using TechTracker for years, but today I hit a wall with the VLC Player update from ver. 2.0.1 to ver. 2.0.2. I am using Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit system and have no problems with anything else. When the download from CNET ended, I got an error msg. saying the download failed. So, I opened up VLC Player, checked for updates, got the notice that a major update was available and downloaded it. When the download completed, VLC Player crashed and asked if I wanted to send in a crash report. I clicked on "Yes" and immediately got a new popup window saying that it failed to reach the FTP server.
