Notification Always Show And Then Hide Every Minute?
Jul 7, 2012
The ploblem is started from 3 days ago . I have searching in google in many keyword but no solution , because i don't know the name of the problem . I also attached the capture of the problem. When i am work in application e.g. dreamweaver or internet explrer , always out screen , and i must click my app again
The hide/unhide arrows on my taskbar have disappeared and I can't figure out how to get them back. I went to properties and clicked on unhide inactive icons, but I still have the same 3 showing and none of my other ones.
bought a dell touchscreen inspiron one 2320, thought it would be better than my two year old dell (don't see it yet). i am an average user and i am not impressed. anyway the question is why does the monitor go black after 1 minute? i have done all the normal stuff in power options. change power saving settings, change when the computer sleeps. choose when to turn off display. turn hibernation on or off. i upload to Internet and it the shutting down makes it frustrating....
A week ago all the notifications in the notification area stopped appear. There is no problem with icons - they all are there, but the notifications aren't display. My taskbar is set to autohide. When there must be a notification - i.e. when I disconnect a flash drive - the task bar stays for a moment (like there is a notification) and then hides, but there is no notification shown at all. The situation is the same with all other notifications.By default I work with the checked option "Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar". I tried to uncheck this option and select "Show icon and notifications" for all icons, also tried to set "Only show notifications", with no success - the notifications aren't display under any circumstances.I tried to Reset the notification area icons cache, but this also doesn't help. Tried to turn off Aero - no change. Tried to turn On/Off "Always show all taskbar icons and notifications" using reg files from here, in both cases there are still no notifications. In fact not a single notification showed in any way for the last week.
Yesterday I made one folder hidden in my F:/ drive. Today I want to un-hide it. I went to "Folder and Search Options" >> View Tab and then "Show hidden files and folders". Then I applied and OK the changes. Still I don't see my hidden file. The F:/ drive shows that I have 7GB of data in it. But it shows a folder of 98MB only.
I have file extension .sfk that I'd like to have the files hidden by default. I can manually hide each file, but that'd take forever. I'd like it to be hidden by the "Don't show hidden files, folders, or drives" option. I'm completely blanking on this whole thing so I'm not even able to word it properly to search
I downloaded HP's Smart Web Printing software but the icon that is supposed to appear on the IE tool bar in order to start the program does not appear, so I cannot use the program. What does appear is an icon whose balloon says it can be used to make the start icon appear, but it doesn't have any effect. I'm using a Sony VAIO 64-bit Windows 7 laptop with Internet Explorer 8. The HP program sounds great and I have good use for it, but so far I haven't been able to find a clue at HP or Microsoft's support sites. I've tried reinstallation twice with the same result.
Put me on the list! I have installed Smart Print (updated for Win7, IE9 64) When I click on the sp icon I get the message:HP smart print must be updated to work on this browser......etc. check for newer version...this just keeps repeating the message!
Is there a way to show the Power notification icon in the system tray on a desktop?
In "Turn system icons on or off", the drop-down menu beside Power is grayed out and set to off. After a google search, I found a registry tweak wherein I'm supposed to delete some registry keys that hide notification icons, but these registry keys don't exist.
Keep in mind that I'm on a desktop, which might be why it is disabled. I don't have a UPS so there is no battery to monitor, but I'd like to be able to switch power plans quickly. I might just have to stick with a desktop shortcut.
I have client fields that are clients first name, clients last name, their street address, suburb and city, their landline number and their cell phone number and their email address.I don't always want to see the email address and would like to have a button that will show or hide the email address.Been trying everything and cant find a method to solve this, been using access 2010 complete book and internet?
My windows is minimizing the programs that im using. Well not exactly minimizing but sort of putting it back to desktop. I tried to install the windows again but whit no results. it's doing it again. I cant even write my documents in word properly because of this.
On one of my Win7 machines I have a arrow icon shortcut close to the system which (when clicked) opens the "Notification Area Icons" setup dialog (= the window which opens when I go to
Control PanelAll Control Panel ItemsNotification Area Icons) On another Win7 machine this arrow icon shortcut is not visible. How can I tell Win7 to embed this arrow icon onto TaskBar?
I don't remember the exact date, but before, whenever I startup my laptop, I always have the Dolby notification icon in the bottom right. But now, I don't know what I did, the notification icon never appears for Dolby. The settings for that icon is set to "Show" but whenever I click on it again, it says "This notification is currently not active" Eventhough, I'm pretty sure it's on.I tried reinstalling, but I keep getting error messages once it's reinstalled. So I have to use System Restore, and this has been driving me nuts...and this keeps going in circles.I think there is something wrong with the registry of this program. When I go to the program location, I have a Dolby Profile Selector, Dolby Profile Editor, and Dolby Profile Launcher...I am so confused now, as I always had the Notification Icon available.I can add Dolby to the Startup Folder, but when turning on the laptop, the entire Dolby profile pops up when Windows 7 boots, and that was not what happened before?
I set the Taskbar tab (in Taskbar & Start menu Properties) to Auto-hide the Taskbar. When I select Apply, the taskbar dips and disappears for a second and then comes right back and stays there.
and 5 minutes to open windows media player 12... All the update are done. I'm working a lot with video AVCHD and the ADobe suite producer. I use wmp to preview some video before importing in adobe premiere.
Now I have to wait 5 minutes to preview my video!....dammit ! Can I downgrade the media player to 11 ??...... Or can I reinstall wmp 12 to the begining ?
I'm putting together a slide show of 3D images that I want to show on my TV next week when we have company.I would like the images to stay on the screen a little longer without having to actually create a slide show in some special application like Premiere. The Slide Show function in Explorer works great if I can control the timing.
If I don't move my mouse, or type anything for 1 minute, Windows 7 automatically brigs me to the log-in screen / change user screen (locks the pc).
I have set all the power settings for sleep, hibernate, dim, turn of HDD to none, or never. I also do not have a log-in password for my username (there is only one user).
I have a Gateway NV53A running windows 7. It takes over 15 minutes to get to what looks like a blue windows back ground (white bird and green leaves on right, shooting start like streaks. I hard booted and started in safe mode but it still looks the same. I have a blue light that looks like 3stacked CD's that is either on or blinking. My fan is running.
just completed a first-time new Windows 7 PC build. Successful installation of Windows 7 Pro on WD 600GB 10000 system drive. Went back and installed 4 additional HDD. (2) WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM and (2) WD Caviar 7200 500GB HDD from XP system that were used for storage.
BIOS sees all HDDs, but are not viewable in Disk Management. System Specs: Antec Nine Hundred ASUS P6X58D-E MOBO

However, only three are visible in Disk Management. Missing (1) WD 500GB (previously used on WinXP system) and (1) new WD 1T.

There is no autosave for adobe illustrator cs6 "yet", and I forget to do cltr+s every minute. Is there a way to schedule it so the system triggers cltr+s every minute?
Everything goes fine until the very last 'tick' then I get a memory error message. I've tried googling the error but no reference. Has anyone encountered this please?
i boot the computer, open chrome and start browsing. after a minute (maybe even less) the browser just stops loading web pages, and doesn't pop any errors or messages. the signal exists but it simply won't load. the internet on the other computers works fine. im not sure about this, but i think that it continued loading a Internet video after it stopped working, but wouldn't open any other pages at all. please help me fix this, i'm running 64 bit version of windows 7.
edit: after rebooting it again works for a minute or so and then stops.
After i installed my HD6970 and formatted my computer, I have been experiencing something quite frustrating about my boot.
When I boot up my computer, it hangs for over 1 minute at this screen: [URL]
I have been trying to find software for boot logging but it has been useless. My Windows bootlog looked like this: Code: Microsoft (R) Windows (R) Version 6.1 (Build 7600) 4 8 2011 05:30:31.125 Loaded driver SystemRootsystem32 toskrnl.exe
