I just bought a Microsoft wedge mouse and I can't connect it to my laptop dell latitude D630 with windows 7. My android phone can connect to the laptop (the laptop can't see the phone, tough), and the mouse can connect to an android tablet. But the mouse it's not seen by the laptop...what should I do ? to update some bluetooth drivers ? they seem up to date.
View 3 RepliesLately I have been having an annoying problem with my wireless mouse. For some reason the pointer will lag, and be very sluggish and jumpy. I've had this mouse on this computer for about a year and I've had no problem. Out of nowhere this problem is happening. I've tried re installing drivers with no luck. I tried uninstalling intellipoint and re-installing it, but when I tried I got the BSOD, and then it completely disabled my mouse and keyboard so I had to use wired peripherals to go in to safe mode and do a system restore. Now everything is working again, except my mouse is still jumpy.
View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently a friend of mine gave me a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.1 because mine broke and I was in need of another mouse.The first day I used it everything was ok but then Windows 7 started giving Unkown device message and errors.I can fix it but only temporary by plugging out the battery for 15 minutes after boot the pc the mouse will work but if the cable will be moved a bit,I will get unknown device message.

Just upgraded to windows 7 ultimate and when i restart, my normal microsoft usb mouse works in the bios until windows starts loading all the drivers from sys32. I used gpedit to disable auto install and uninstalled all of the usb drivers also gives me a code 19. where can i just find a generic usb driver or something.

I bought a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 to replace an ailing optical laser mouse that's on its last legs, and on the package it said that one "AA" battery would last for one entire year without replacing. What it meant was, it would have took until the next spring before it's time to replace the battery.Apparently, the mouse doesn't think like that, it appears, and when I was looking down at it, there was a red warning light indicating that the single battery had already been exhausted from use. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and it works fine when connected but it disconnects when my computer is idle. Once disconnected it is not recognized again when I start using my computer again. To get my computer to connect to it again I either have to restart or delete the drivers and reconnect the mouse. Is there a way to change the bluetooth settings so that it doesn't "sleep" after a period of time? I dont know if that is the problem but I cant think of anything else. I'm using the mouse on my desktop outlined in my system specs.

When i restart my laptop, the speed is back up to full when i scroll, but when i check in control panel >mouse settings, the speed shows that its still set to the lowest setting. I move the slider, click apply and it works again.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI probably spilled some coffee on the keyboard and now I can not inactivate the mouse pad in favor of the external mouse. The only way I can eliminate the conflict is to uninstall the mouse pad. That works fine but every time I reboot for something I have to uninstall it again. As you know rebooting is common and therefore I have to reboot twice for every time I have to reboot. Anyone with a solution to this problem? This is a HP laptop. The mouse automatically installs everytime I have to reboot. I do not shut down normaly.
