I tried installing HP drivers for my 7210 MFP downloaded from HP site,when installation begins it just dissapears,ran virus scan and driver shows as a corrupt .exe file.I installed same driver on laptop and it works fine on wireless network.Both running 7 ultimate 64.

I need to know why this is happening and how to prevent this from happening. It doesnt seem to be a driver problem because they have been uninstalled and reinstalled in compatibility mode and didnt work.

The other will print when the printer is first added, then it will stop printing after awhile. Deleting the printer and re-adding it solves the problem for a short while.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recent purchased a a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and a Canon MG5220 Inkjet All-in-One printer. I have setup printer to be wireless (no problems). When I run the setup disk to start downloading the drivers, etc. I get the message that the Print Spooler Service stopped and to restart the computer. I have done that several times. Every time have to restart the spooler in the print spooler properties only to have have it stop a few seconds later when I try to re-run the setup disk. I have deleted the files in the printer and driver files under windowssystem32spoolerdrivers. There is a file called color in the driver filer. I have cleaned up the registry. I have tried the Window Fix.

On Firefox and Chrome the download just stops on Opera the speed changes to unknown and it stops downloading.I don't have a wireless connection I use modem and my net connection should be okay since on my old comp with same net it worked without problem.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm running Outlook 2010 with about 5 separate POP 3 accounts. I archive regularly and compact after archiving. After a lot of trouble cloning a new C drive to an SSD, Outlook, along with a lot of other software, began acting strangely. Everything has pretty much been resolved except for the Outlook problem.
For no reason I can isolate, Outlook will suddenly close, giving the message that it had to close and it will now try to retrieve my data. It does so, unless I was in the middle of composing an email - that will be gone! Sometimes, instead of closing, it freezes and says application not responding.
I checked the disk for errors using scan now and it's fine. I've run memtest and it's fine. I've run in safe mode and it just shut down with no comments. In working my way through suggestions on this board, I just ran Sysinternals Process Explorer until the error occurred and went back to normal. In looking at Process Explorer, I'm afraid the actual data is overwhelming to me. However, I'll attach everything I have.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOver the last few days, my computer has been freezing. Before it freezes I repeatedly get a black screen flashing up and then a message that my graphics driver wasn't working but is has been repaired. It does this about 5 times, before completely freezing (ctrl + alt + del doesn't do anything). I have forced it to shut down and started it up, and it works for about 1 minute. At the time I was using microsoft one note (which I haven't had any problems with before), and google chrome, which I have only recently installed. I tried uninstalling chrome and using IE but it did the same after about only a minute of being switched on.My laptop is about 4 years old, but I've only had problems over the last few days. I'm currenly using safe mode, and I'm not having any crashing/freezing.

It's called BoD_easyprint_de.It always worked on XP and now I was told that it works on Windows 7 64x. Just on my Windows 7 64x Laptop doesn't work. I have an older printer which has no USB connection. My new computer also does not have the old style printer port which is required for this printer.

I have an Epson multi function printer which I am trying to install in XP mode. The reason I am doing this is because the scanner wont work in Windows x64 bit, so I have tried to install it in XP mode. I went to the Epson website and got the x32 bit drivers and downloaded both the printer and scanner driver. The thing is though when I try to install them I get a message saying that I need to install the printer driver manually but I don't know what port it should go in.

i have been running windows 7 rc1 for a while now, I have a HP laserjet 1018 installed as a shared printer on a windows xp machine. From windows 7 rc1 I send jobs to this printer no problem. However, on my new retail version of windows 7 professional 32 bit the printer does not respond to print jobs. The document sits in the que for a few seconds then it just disappears.

I downloaded the latest drivers for my HP Photosmart 6280 printer and was able to successfully install my printer wirelessly. However, no such luck with my Sony.
