Blue Screen MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001a

Oct 23, 2010

I run Windows 7 Pro 64-bit on a home-build Core-i7 860 using an ASUS P7P55D Deluxe m/b with 8GB RAM. I have been getting blue screens at random for months, mostly MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001a.Several memory tests picked up nothing. Switching out my boot SSD and doing a clean Win 7 install did not help. I downloaded BlueScreenView and can now see that 4 of 5 crashes this month were as follows:MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001a caused by ntoskrnl.exe address ntoskrnl.exe+70740Switching out RAM to pin down something that happens twice a week will be a slow process, and I'm not even sure that RAM is the issue.

BSODs 0x00000050 And 0x0000001A Seemingly Randomly

Jul 19, 2012

I've always had a bit of trouble with BSODs on almost all of the computers I've built, however this latest iteration of my machine has been the worst. It started out fine and never caused any problems, however, about 4 months ago I had an issue that my computer would blue screen 0x00000050 or 0x0000001A both randomly and during shut down. I fixed the problem then through forum reading and trial and error. However, the problem never completely went away. I still randomly, after prolonged use (8-10 hours of heavy use) get crashes with the same stop codes. They are both memory related so I thoroughly scrubbed the ram using memtest and came up with no errors. I've taken the time to update the drivers (as well as my bios) that I can find but don't have the time, or the patience, to read through the dumps to find the source of the problem.

BSOD Errors 0x0000001a And 0x00000050 On New Install / Build

Aug 19, 2012

System Spec:
Intel Core i5-3570k
Asus P8Z77-Pro M/b
16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM (2x8)
2x2TB 7200RPM, 64MB cache HDD's
1x500GB 7200RPM HDD
nVidia GeForce 8800GTS
Creative SoundBlaster Xtreme Gamer sound card
Linksys WMP600N wireless PCI card
Corsair HX650 PSU
1x Blu-Ray optical drive
1x DVD optical drive

This is a new computer build that I finished a few days ago. I've updated the BIOS, set up a RAID 1 configuration through Intel Rapid Storage Technology/through the BIOS. I installed Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and have begun to migrate my programs and data over from my previous machine. This process has been paused because I am experiencing BSOD. There are two which have occurred:

0x0000001a - MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
0x00000050 - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

I ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic test overnight - no problems were found. I've updated all my drivers. I have followed the BSOD posting instructions and SF Diag Tool instructions, and also googled effortlessly regarding these Stop codes.

Random BSODs, Most With Error 0x0000001a

Nov 28, 2011

This PC has been experiencing random BSODs for a couple of months now. I've taken this machine to a repair place, but they were unable to recreate the BSOD, but also apparently couldn't review dump files or do any other analysis of the crashes, so my faith is greatly diminished.

Anyway, I've recently done a fresh install of windows, replaced the RAM (currently at 8gb), and updated the ASACPI.sys driver from the 2005 version to the 2009 version. At this point, I have no idea what to do next. I think there is a bios setting throwing everything out of whack, but I honestly don't know enough about bios to feel comfortable poking around in there.

System basics:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit Custom built system with Windows 7 being the only OS ever installed on the system. Full retail version.

The system is about 1 year old and I reinstalled Windows last week (Monday, 11/21 ). No blue screens until the 26th. There've been 5 so far.

Attached is the BSOD file and the perfmon.html report as requested.

BSOD Randomly (Playing Games / Downloading) Error 0x0000001a

Jan 20, 2013

I am experiencing BSOD at random times. This is frustrating because I am pretty sure I eliminated all the possible reasons for my computer to Blue Screen. I changed my motherboard, I scanned my hard drive, got all the drivers for my video cards, etc. I also checked my ram one by one.

Now here is what info I got on my crash dump files
On Sat 19/01/2013 6:32:11 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:WindowsMinidump 11913-46285-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7EFC0)
Bugcheck code: 0x1A (0x41287, 0x40, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
file path: C:Windowssystem32
toskrnl.exe
[Log] .....

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time. Also when it Blue Screens I was able to get a copy of what the Technical information that caused the blue screen.

STOP: 0x0000001a (0x0000000000041287, 0x0000000000000040, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000

BSoD Error 0x00000050 In Windows 7

Apr 30, 2012

After recently installing a new RAM DIMM to my PC, once in a while Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit crashes.
I'm not certain, but I think the only error I've received on BSoD is "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" (last time the parameters were 0x00000050 (0x80eac2dd, 0x00000000, 0x9e306c99, 0x00000002)). I'll attach the mini-dump files. I'm pretty sure is related to my RAM, because it's mixed. I sure hope my new DIMM isn't faulty. I'm also attaching a report from Everest about my PC.

P.S.: I've also recently played a bit with my BIOS to OC my CPU a bit. CPU voltage is at 1.45V, memory is set to 1.85V, DDR-2 667, 5-5-5-18-2T.

P.P.S.: Forgot to mention... I've run memtest86+ overnight (about 8 hours) - no errors... Also ran Windows' memory test - no errors.

Random BSOD - Error 0x0000000a And 0x00000050?

Dec 5, 2011

Been having random BSOD for the past week or so. Started on Sunday (11-27-11),where I had come back to my machine and it had been restarted... after logging in, find out that it was a BSOD. I then proceded to have 3 different BSOD events on Monday, which led me to perform a memtest on Tuesday morning to see if my memory was bad. After 2 full passes (I know, not a full 8), it didn't seem to be that, so I went ahead and did a System Restore from a backup from roughly 2 weeks prior. This led to solid performance for the next week, until this morning (Monday, 12-5-11) when I had another. All BSOD events seemed to occur at random times, so I can't say they were triggered by a specific event to the best of my knowledge.

I had performed the BSOD dump collection and Performance Monitor Report on last monday as well as doing the BSOD dump collection today. Regretfully, I cannot get the Performance Monitor to stop running today, so hopefully just the dump collection will be enough. As for my computer components:- HP Elite 7000 MT machine- Windows 7 Ultimate x64- Not the version originally installed on system- Hardware is a little over a year and a half old- 64-bit OS (originally had x86) wasinstalled 13 months ago.- Only non-stock hardware would be an added harddrive (just a backup drive, no OS on it), and I added 4GB more RAM (alongside the original 4GB) back in January.

Apr 22, 2012

Currently I am experiencing a major issue with my computer. I will start my computer up and I get a BSOD within about 10 minutes. It has happened 10 times already and I have no idea how to fix it. I have read numerous forums, tried updating graphics card drivers, hard drive drivers. I have performed disk check and run a memory test with no errors. I am not sure if it is a hardware fault or other. The BSOD also occurred while I was in safe mode with netowrking turned on. I have tried doing clean boots and even tried disabling my graphics cards, network adapters and audio drivers. I will post the dump file which is always the same every time the BSOD happens.

Random BSOD With Error 0X00000050 And 0X00000109, Windows 7 X64

Jan 17, 2013

Have recently completed a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium x64 on a customers laptop, installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 x32 and put all his data back on there.Since then hes been getting BSOD's. Have downloaded and installed Blue Screen viewer and have found that im getting 2 different error codes.

1, Stop Error 000000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

2, Stop Error 000000109

I have tested the RAM using memtest overnight and has 15 passes. The problem is i cant reproduce this issue, it seems to be completely random in falling over. I have had it on a test bench for 48 hours running PCMARK 7 and it hasnt fallen over once and then when i have given it back to the customer he says within the hour it was doing it again. I have asked him if there is something specific he is doing when it crashes and he says no its just general use.

Recently I have been getting random BSOD some say Management, other say Non Default, Bad_Pool_Header, maybe some others but the BSOD is to fast for me to read exactly what it says. I been doing my research on how exactly I can even first look at this mini dumps found a program call (BlueScreenView) When look around i can see all id the dumps there but am seeing the the main culprit is a ntoskrnl.exe. Now I am guessing this Because it was shown alot. People have said to run memory checks, your ram sticks are going bad, restore your computer, but honestly I an clueless.

I would like to know
1) What are the step to find the problem

Getting MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

Dec 23, 2011

Getting MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, and more recently SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.Attached my dump files. Basically, been having issues with this for the past year. Sometimes it runs fine for weeks, or even a month or two, sometimes.. not so much. Gave it to a local computer shop here and they had it for a month and couldn't figure out what was causing the issues, only could tell me that everything passed hardware tests. I've replaced parts that were under warrant (CPU and HDD) and have tried pulling out each stick of RAM and running them individually. Sometimes, turning the power completely off, unplugging, then putting power back to it seems to get it running again. If I shutdown for any length of time, though, the BSODs start. Usually, if i just put it to sleep, it'll continue working for a long time. I'm pretty sure I even reinstalled windows a few times and ran without any of my current programs, to the same effect.

BSOD Errors A1 (Memory_Management) And A (Irql_Not_Less_Or_Equal)?

Jun 19, 2012

I have had a very solid stable system since 2010, then I decided 6 GB of RAM and a 9800GT/GTX560Ti wasn't enough. I sold these parts away and replaced them with 24 GB of RAM and a GTX560Ti 448 edition. The instant I throw these new parts into my box I start getting the two different BSoD errors (the ones in the title). I have cleared everything of my previous overclocks with the upgraded components.System Specs: (bolded is what was introduced to the system which created the errors)Windows 7 Professional x647 930EVGA 132-BL-E758 (Motherboard)EVGA GTX560Ti 448 FTW EditionPatriot Extreme Performance (24 GB of RAM)If you need to know anything besides the core components that I have, let me know. Attached are the dump files.

The story so far:I have ran Memtest overnight on all the sticks of RAM and nothing comes up, it claims they're all good. I'm not sure how to test the graphics card, but what I can tell you is that I can login to Windows and within 5 minutes the BSoD shows itself. When in safe mode, (where I am right now), it runs more stable, but I have had it BSoD in here as well; It's just nowhere near as often. So, this makes me think its not hardware related and hopefully it's not because I have no other RAM sticks or graphics card to test with.My thoughts:I only used 3 of the 6 slots for RAM on the motherboard before this upgrade so initially I thought maybe I had a bad slot. I can't disprove that, but I still get the BSoD when using only 1 stick of RAM in a slot that was previously known as working. I uninstalled the graphics driver for my old GTX560Ti and downloaded the latest driver for my new graphics card and still get a BSoD.

Random BSODs, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT And DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL?

Aug 15, 2012

I got a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD while browsing the internet yesterday, then some hours later, while playing a game, I got the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL one. The next day, I got another MEMORY_MANAGEMENT while watching a video. This is a new system, about 1 month old, so I'm pretty worried about this.I also noticed that I got some corrupted downloads in the last few days, though that could be a coincidence. After getting the second BSOD, I left the windows memory test running overnight, doing an extended test. It did two passes and found no errors. Chkdisk found nothing either. I noticed the WMI errors (event ID 10) in the event log around the same time that I got the BSOD and ran the script MS provides to fix it, though from everything I read it was probably a coincidence and unrelated to the BSOD. It did not happen again after I fixed it but it hasn't been long since I ran it.
