Get Intel Pro / Wireless 2100 LAN Mini-pci Card To Work With Windows 7
Oct 4, 2012
im upgrading my inspiron 8600 to 2 gb ram and windows 7 already installed 7. everything works fine except the wireless. the adapter from the factory is Intel P/C WM3A2100NADELL.....model WM#A2100......DELL P/N 09y200...........REV A01 the XP driver doesn't work. the dell support site only lists xp as an operating system for the 8600. this computer has been used very little and contains the Pentium M chip known to be a low heat processor, so i'm willing to warm it up a bit with windows 7. the operating system is working fine and i don't hear my fan coming on. just need a driver for the wireless. wired works fine.
My laptop is Dell Latitude D505, OS is WIndows 7 Ultimate. I can not install Wireless card.My wireless card is : Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3A Mini PCI Adapter?
I currently use drivers from 2008:Driver Version 4.176.75.21 - 10/1/2008 for my Dell Wireless 1505 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini-Card.Whenever I run Microsoft Update it tells me to upgrade to the latest drivers, however, with the newest drivers I experience a SIGNIFICANT drop in throughput- something like from 108 mbps with my current setup to 1-15 mbps with the "updated" drivers.I'd like to have the most up to date driver, but do not want to limit my Wifi bandwidth either.
I just had to return my previous windows vista adapter because linksys did not have any drivers for windows 7. What is a good wireless card/adapter that will work with windows 7?
I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 Laptop and stuck windows 7 RTM 32 bit on it. All was well but now connecting wirelessly is slow. Like slower then 56k modem slow. I have a Dell 802.11n wireless mini card installed that works PERFECTLY under windows XP. I was getting 80 % signal strength under Win 7 and getting 1 mbps where as in XP I was getting 78 to 100 mbps with the same signal strength. Oh and ethernet works perfectly fine.
For a time I was able to download the corresponding vista driver from dell and then replace the driver that win 7 automatically installs for it, then flipped the card switch off and on and it would work like it should for a while, but then reverted to the same slow network speeds once the laptop was reset or turned off and on. Now flipping the switch or re-installing doesn't work either. I've tried resetting the router, no go and none of my other computers or products have a problem with it. I've tried doing a few things suggested in other posts, like assigning a static ip, disabling ipv6, etc... Nothing has worked.
I'd love someone who knows what it may be or has heard of this precise problem, although I think I may be stuck waiting until Win 7 makes it debut in Oct and until Dell releases a proper 7 driver for it.
I bought this Generic USB All in 1 Mini Card Reader off eBay (Some Cheap chinese thing) It worked fine on my previous setup, Windows Vista x64, and it still works on my fathers computer, Vista x64 I believe. But When I try to connect it to my current Windows 7 x64 install, it justs gives me an I/O device error, I think it might have something to do with the Device driver for Win 7 It might not be compatible, I don't know just thought somebody might have an idea if I can get it to work in Windows 7.
I purchased diablo 3 for my husband & my video card is not supported so he's unable to play, my computer is a HP P624 f-b desktop with a Intel GMA intregrated graphics, I am aware I need to up my power supply also, I have no idea what video card can be used to upgrade so the game is playable, not looking to spend a fortune?
Just moved to Windows 7 from XP. I have everything working - except my USB Mini SD Card reader.I have a Cyclo DS card and have been accessing the card - no problem through XP. The card is formatted as a FAT32 (as required). When I put it in with Windows 7 - it tells me that I have to format it first. The obvious solution is to copy everything using an XP installation and then format.
how to uninstall/reinstall my audio card driver. I'm using a HP Mini netbook (windows 7 starter). I use this Netbook mainly for browsing and watching netflix. I spend a lot of time in a motel. When I'm trying to watch a movie the Audio is faster than the video (The words are already spoken, but the characters haven't said them yet). I downloaded "driver detective" and it said that my Audio was out of date.

The problem is this is my living room movie file player and the video cards make a huge difference....I also need explorer as well....now Chrome works but that is not what I want..
I have bought an older notebook - HP Compaq nx6110 with PCMCIA WiFi card and want to replace it with Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG card. I have installed Windows 7 on it and put the Intel card into miniPCI slot, the problem is no driver works for me. I would be happy, if you could help me, really do not know, what to do with that.
