I use the Dell Computer Gx270 and my graphic card intel 82865g. i installed this driver in windows 7 this driver work properly but this not support to windows dvd maker. when i click on windows dvd maker error is video card is not supported please help me how slove this problem.
I purchased diablo 3 for my husband & my video card is not supported so he's unable to play, my computer is a HP P624 f-b desktop with a Intel GMA intregrated graphics, I am aware I need to up my power supply also, I have no idea what video card can be used to upgrade so the game is playable, not looking to spend a fortune?
I just recently upgraded Windows 7 Ultimate from Vista Home premium. When I "upgraded" though I chose to completly reinstall my OS.Anyways I used to have transparency, but when I try to get that same effect it says "The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Contact the manufacturer of your computer or video card for a WDDM-compatible driver."and then when I try to troubleshoot it says "Video card driver doesn't support Aero effects" . I've tried the "Fix it" options, but that doesnt work. I just don't see how transperancy would work on vista but not with windows 7... do I seriously have to purchase a new video card?
I own a Dell Inspiron N5010(service code 8ypspp1). I installed all drivers, but when i enter lets say solitaire it says that either hardware acceleration is disabled either my video card doesn't support it. I checked if h.acceleration was turned on and it was. My graphics card apears to be : Standard VGA Graphics Adaptor. I installed java , flash , directx...This happened after i reinstalled windows and format.
Does anyone have a suggestion to what video card i can upgrade to with an old dell dimension 3000? i just installed windows 7 home premium 32 bit and I'm having a major resolution issues. the computer is old, so I'm looking to spend 30-40 clams.
So I have Windows 7 in my computer, and I can't just use the Aero features (including the theme), because it says that my video card driver is not WDDM compatible.
My Video card driver is: Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family
Graphics memory: 128MB
Should I install one another driver? If so, which one? If I try to update, it says that I'm using the latest version of the driver and it's up to date. But it says that I can't use Aero because of my WDDM incompatibility. What should I do? I am REALLY tired and bored with the basic theme (light blue).
Guys, I think that there must be a solution because the Windows doesn't say I can't use Aero.
"The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Contact the manufacturer of your computer or video card for a WDDM-compatible driver".
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (Build 7000) on an lenovo pc (Intel Pentium 4 - 2.8GHz, 2.00 GB RAM). my pc's actual graphics card is "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" but windows 7 loads it as "standard VGA graphics card" which gives me a very very bad video quality but computer works great. HOWEVER,when i update video graphics back to my "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" & play any video, the video quality is excellent & direct 3d & hardware acceleration starts working contrary to "standard VGA graphics card" but gives major computer operation problems. For e.g., As soon as i resize my VLC interface or run any other media players (like powerdvd or windows media players etc), the computer either gets stuck/hung or it shows a blue screen message saying "disable bios memory such as caching or shadowing" OR "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" & lots of other explorer based problems.i tried changing various 3d settings in opengl as well, but in vain.
Installed Win 7 over an old Intel 865GBF main board (Intel Extreme on board graphics controller with shared mem). Getting the graphics drivers to work is so frustrating!!
Everything works fine except:
It installs the standard VGA driver by default -- which doesn't allow my LCD/TV to go full res (1680x1050). Also, no updates for the same.
If I install the Intel drivers from the website, (in XP compatibility mode) they work fine, except keep hanging whenever there is any video playing (WMP / Flash / etc) and generally Windows 7 becomes crashy/hangy. There are no drivers for the 865 mobo from Intel (only support till winXP).
It seems some of the most advanced Intel Processors doesnt support XPMode
for eg: Core 2 Quad Q8200 and Core 2 Duo E7400 wont support XPMode
so here is complete list of Intel Processors(both desktop and Mobile) that support XPMode:
Desktop CPUS
Core 2 Duo
E4300/4400/4500/4600/4700 NO E6300/6320/6400/6420/6540/6550 YES E6600/6700/6750/6850 YES E7200/7300/7400/7500 NO E8190 NO E8200/8300/8400/8500/8600 YES
Basically, I do a lot of video converting since I'm always sending movies/tv shows to devices like PS3, Playbook, Xbox and some other stuff. Most of the converters I've found support only single core CPU's and take an hour or so to convert, I was wondering if there are any conversion tools that support more than one core and would be much faster than standard converters?
Basic question: Does Windows 7 have built in drivers for NIC cards? I am trying to install Win 7 to a barebones Shuttle K45 system. Win 7 installs seamlessly, but cannot connect to the internet. NIC card light is flashing but no driver. When I try to load drivers from the CD that came with the MB, it complains that it does not know the Win 7 OS so no drivers are installed.
Without internet access I can not send MS feedback or get updates.
I installed XP, but Win 7 will not do an upgrade to XP. XP works fine. Installed Vista Ultimate and it works fine, NIC and hardware is all OK with these two OS systems. It is just a problem with getting driver into WIN 7 that will allow a Generic Marvell Yukon Chipset based Ethernet Controller to communicate with Router.
Any ideas on how I can proceed so I can test Win 7 on this new machine?
I have built them formatted them, fixed them added components many many times...This is my issue, Internet explore won't open....well it opens and I get a ap crash notification. I take out both of my different videos cards and use internal video and it does not crash. The problem is this is my living room movie file player and the video cards make a huge difference....I also need explorer as well....now Chrome works but that is not what I want..
I built myself a new PC and everything was running fine. Then I decided to change the graphics card from an ASUS Radeon HD 6770 to an ASUS Radeon HD6850 1GB.Upon restart and every restart since, the Aero effects do not work. At first I just figured I hadnt got the right drivers. Games were working fine so I left it alone. Now I've updated all the drivers to the latest ones from the ATI website, 12.4, but the Aero effects still do not work.
