I use the Dell Computer Gx270 and my graphic card intel 82865g. i installed this driver in windows 7 this driver work properly but this not support to windows dvd maker. when i click on windows dvd maker error is video card is not supported please help me how slove this problem.

I purchased diablo 3 for my husband & my video card is not supported so he's unable to play, my computer is a HP P624 f-b desktop with a Intel GMA intregrated graphics, I am aware I need to up my power supply also, I have no idea what video card can be used to upgrade so the game is playable, not looking to spend a fortune?

When I "upgraded" though I chose to completly reinstall my OS.Anyways I used to have transparency, but when I try to get that same effect it says "The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Contact the manufacturer of your computer or video card for a WDDM-compatible driver."and then when I try to troubleshoot it says "Video card driver doesn't support Aero effects" . I've tried the "Fix it" options, but that doesnt work. I just don't see how transperancy would work on vista but not with windows 7... do I seriously have to purchase a new video card?

Should I install one another driver? If so, which one? If I try to update, it says that I'm using the latest version of the driver and it's up to date. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (Build 7000) on an lenovo pc (Intel Pentium 4 - 2.8GHz, 2.00 GB RAM). my pc's actual graphics card is "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" but windows 7 loads it as "standard VGA graphics card" which gives me a very very bad video quality but computer works great. HOWEVER,when i update video graphics back to my "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" & play any video, the video quality is excellent & direct 3d & hardware acceleration starts working contrary to "standard VGA graphics card" but gives major computer operation problems. For e.g., As soon as i resize my VLC interface or run any other media players (like powerdvd or windows media players etc), the computer either gets stuck/hung or it shows a blue screen message saying "disable bios memory such as caching or shadowing" OR "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" & lots of other explorer based problems.i tried changing various 3d settings in opengl as well, but in vain.

View 1 Replies View RelatedInstalled Win 7 over an old Intel 865GBF main board (Intel Extreme on board graphics controller with shared mem). Getting the graphics drivers to work is so frustrating!!
Everything works fine except:
It installs the standard VGA driver by default -- which doesn't allow my LCD/TV to go full res (1680x1050). Also, no updates for the same.
If I install the Intel drivers from the website, (in XP compatibility mode) they work fine, except keep hanging whenever there is any video playing (WMP / Flash / etc) and generally Windows 7 becomes crashy/hangy. There are no drivers for the 865 mobo from Intel (only support till winXP).
Any ideas?

Win 7 installs seamlessly, but cannot connect to the internet. NIC card light is flashing but no driver. When I try to load drivers from the CD that came with the MB, it complains that it does not know the Win 7 OS so no drivers are installed.
Without internet access I can not send MS feedback or get updates.
I installed XP, but Win 7 will not do an upgrade to XP. XP works fine. Installed Vista Ultimate and it works fine, NIC and hardware is all OK with these two OS systems. It is just a problem with getting driver into WIN 7 that will allow a Generic Marvell Yukon Chipset based Ethernet Controller to communicate with Router.
Any ideas on how I can proceed so I can test Win 7 on this new machine?
I have built them formatted them, fixed them added components many many times...This is my issue, Internet explore won't open....well it opens and I get a ap crash notification. I take out both of my different videos cards and use internal video and it does not crash. The problem is this is my living room movie file player and the video cards make a huge difference....I also need explorer as well....now Chrome works but that is not what I want..

Then I decided to change the graphics card from an ASUS Radeon HD 6770 to an ASUS Radeon HD6850 1GB.Upon restart and every restart since, the Aero effects do not work. At first I just figured I hadnt got the right drivers. Games were working fine so I left it alone. Now I've updated all the drivers to the latest ones from the ATI website, 12.4, but the Aero effects still do not work.
