Intel Driver 82865G Graphics Controller

i've just installed windows 7 ultimate edition and everything is ok exept my video card!

it's read as standard vga driver and bad resolution

i searched for the driver and downloaded several versions and all say

"this operating sysytem is not supported"

my PC is dell desktop optiplex gx270 with graphics card "Intel driver 82865G graphics controller"

can anyone help me finding a driver for this vga card?

I use the Dell Computer Gx270 and my graphic card intel 82865g. i installed this driver in windows 7 this driver work properly but this not support to windows dvd maker. when i click on windows dvd maker error is video card is not supported please help me how slove this problem.

"Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" Doesn't Work?

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (Build 7000) on an lenovo pc (Intel Pentium 4 - 2.8GHz, 2.00 GB RAM). my pc's actual graphics card is "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" but windows 7 loads it as "standard VGA graphics card" which gives me a very very bad video quality but computer works great. HOWEVER,when i update video graphics back to my "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" & play any video, the video quality is excellent & direct 3d & hardware acceleration starts working contrary to "standard VGA graphics card" but gives major computer operation problems. For e.g., As soon as i resize my VLC interface or run any other media players (like powerdvd or windows media players etc), the computer either gets stuck/hung or it shows a blue screen message saying "disable bios memory such as caching or shadowing" OR "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" & lots of other explorer based problems.i tried changing various 3d settings in opengl as well, but in vain.

My Old Dell Desktop computer was compatible with the windows 7 upgrade so i bought it with little concerns, everything worked properly but the screen resolution is is suck at 450/600 and it says my frame rate does not go over 600 pixels when my monitor is 1440/900.I have a Intel 865 VGA graphics card and it worked fine on vista but now everything on windows 7 nothing fits on the screen.

actually I upgraded the windows from windows vista to win7. since then I have been encountering some difficulties and it has really been a pain.

-my screen saver aint workin, ie. VGA

-the worst of all is the system when torn on takes very long before it boots or doesnt at all some times.most times it on and of, on and off.... so on without booting. but when I apply an eternal hard disk it comes up. pls what can I do. I love HP laptops and I have been using them one after the other for 7years now.
