I want ALL my folders to show content as details.Even if they are pictures.How do I do that?Tried the folder options in the Config Screen (sorry, trying to translate from Dutch) but that won't work, plus I'm in a wrong folder, because that's one of the few I want to see as icons.

I have to be forever setting and resetting folder views. For example I can in include any folder in the save list for most applications. This works for microsoft Word, IE etc. However some applications like Adobe reader and a few others do not have my favourite folders when I go to save. They just have the basic: Recentplaces/Desktop/Libraties/Computer/Network. View 8 Replies View RelatedI am running Windows 7 (Home Premium 64b) with Office 2010 (Home & Bus) on our new desktop PC. Just finished installing both without problem. Have now turned to adding email accounts to Outlook. I added 4 POP3 accounts, using the wizard. The wizard's test mails - and my own independently sent test mails - have confirmed that send/receive work fine in all 4. One of the 4 has been selected as my default account.
All 4 accounts show up in the navigation pane on the far left of the screen. The default account appears at top, with a black arrowhead to the left of its name. Under it appear the standard list of system-offered subfolders: Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Junk Mail, Calendar, Contacts etc. etc.
The other three accounts are listed below this array. Each of them has a white arrowhead to the left of its name. None of these accounts has any system-offered subfolders (Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items etc) listed under it.
Question -
How do I get Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items and the other system-offered subfolders to appear under these non-default accounts in the Navigation Pane? For example, I know (from viewing the same accounts independently on my laptop) that these non-default accounts are receiving mail; however, I cannot view any of this mail because the Inboxes of these accounts are not accessible from the Navigation Pane. I would like all 3 non-default accounts to at least show Inbox, and - if possible - one of them to also show a fuller menu including Drafts, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Junk Mail etc.
I have looked everywhere in Outlook there is, but can't seem to find the path to the fix (or - if I have found it - I guess I am not recognizing it).
And I just downloaded a game, titled 'Lucent Heart'and when I attempted to open it, it says that the system doest support the screen resolution more than 1024 x 768. so i tried to change it. when i opened the screen resolution, and clicked the options in resolution, i only saw two. the recommended, which is 1024 x 600, and the 800 x 600. i tried to apply both, but it still doesnt work. -.- fml.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a multi-boot setup which currently has Windows 7, Win XP Pro 32 bit, and Win XP Pro 64 bit. Prior to installing Win 7, all boot options would show on the first screen, regardless of how many I had. Since installing Win 7 yesterday, however, I get only two options on the boot selection screen:
Earlier Version of Windows
Windows 7
Is there a way to force the system to show all three options on the first screen? Win 7 is not my primary OS, so having to select "earlier version", then select the XP option I want is difficult.
I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate on a notebook which previously ran Vista. No problems there .....
I've now installed Ubuntu (now updated to 10.04) so that it can boot to either OS. It all works fine and when I first power up, I get a screen which invites me to select the OS I want to use. There are however two problems:
1) it defaults to Ubuntu (whereas I would prefer it to default to Windows 7), and
2) the list of choices is getting increasingly complex with an expanding list of choices (with each major update of Ubuntu adding more); it even seems to include an option to go back to Vista!
As long as I move down the list and make the right selection quite speedily, I get to where I want to be (though, as I say, I would like to change the default option).
Is there any way I can edit/shorten this list without damaging the functionality and how can I change that default?
This morning, Windows installed 5 updates, which I had postponed from yesterday. It told me to reboot but when it did, it got stuck at the Press ESC point. There was no disk activity. I turned off and rebooted again several times with the Windows Repair disk in the DVD drive. I was able to run the startup test but it said it couldn't repair it. The log said the the fault was caused by a critical update. I went into System Restore, but I am unsure of the options. It showed a screen with all my partitions already ticked, including the Windows boot partition which was greyed out. Am I supposed to leave all the partitions ticked, or if I don't, will I then lose those partitions?
I currently have the Wondershare LiveBoot 2012 DVD running but I'm not sure what option I need to use. Recover MBR, Recover Boot Sector, or Recover Boot files, or all of them?
For some reason I don't have any widescreen options for screen resolution. The black bars on the sides of my screen are getting very annoying. Am I missing something here?

Restarted it to allow updates to be applied, then nothing.All I get is a black screen with a mouse cursor (that I can move, for all the good it does me)I've tried every possible key combination out there, nothing works. F8, F12, Ctrl-Alt-Del, nothing. Can't go into Safe Mode, can't access the BIOS. All I get is the Windows opening chime and a black screen where I would normally log in to access my computer. Every connection is secure, nothing loose.

Recently I opened the folder and the look has changed. On the general tab I no longer see "home page", "temporary internet files", etc. I only see, browsing history and appearance options. I wanted to change my home change in the address box, but it doesn't appear. How can I change it back to the way it use to look? I've scanned my laptop for potential viruses using AVG-anti-virus and Malwarebytes anti-malware....both came up clean.

i have window 7 test version installed however When i tried to install Act of war: Direct action, it didn't work and since i have herd how the game does not like more than 3 GB of rams i change the MSconfig settings and set a limit on the memory from the Advance options after i restarted my computer it crashed...and i am unable to undo the msconfig changes, because i am unable to access msconfig i have tried to boot into safemode and load msconfig, however it says i do not have the privileged to access msconfig...i have tried the automatic repair in window 7... and it didn't work anyother ways to undo it?i have a lot of accessments in the C: drive which i have not backed up?

it installed o.k and in my computer shows disk d,I only want to use this as storage,but whenever i download anything and want to send it to d it isn;t in the drop down menu,its showing in the sidebar i can drag the files across into d and works o.k.but am mystified why i cant get it in dropdown.have formatted drive,in the disc manager it shows healthy and active.

Computer with new clean install of Windows 7 Home. Yesterday it was connecting to router via LAN (not wireless). Went to sleep last night and had to do hard restart to get it up today. Since then, it is not finding the router via error msg above. I went into Dev. Mgr and told modified Nertwork Adapters to not allow computer to put to sleep. Still same msg. It will connect via wireless but I want to LAN it.
