Having issues, with some flash applications, i.e. facebook: bejeweled, and amazon.com music preview. I dont know, if amazon music preview is flash based, but I don't want to try and look at the moment, because it would then force me to restart my computer to regain a network connection, because I lose internet connectivity, at that time.
I've installed the official windows 7 64bit realtek drivers from gigabyte, but still continues.
problem is theres no 64-bit version of adobe flash player. so I started using the 32-bit version of IE so I can use flash. every now and then it says "internet explorer has stopped working" ect.. says its checking for a solution to the problem and no solution exists of course
so anyway its prolly because its the 32-bit version and they didnt bother testing it enough on the 64 bit OS.
I'll be installing both Firefox and Chrome in Windows 7 64bit (I use both). Do I have to install BOTH 32 and 64bit versions of Java and Flash to support FF (32 bit browser) and Chrome (64bit), or will installing the 64 bit versions suffice?
symptoms: random fps loss here and there during video playback in Internet, as well as flash based games (about 1 or 2 seconds and then goes back to being smooth in what seems to be 20 or 30 second intervals). i'm not sure if this is 100% accurate, but i noticed that fps (frames per second) took a hit after installing sp1 (service pack 1) on windows 7 ultmate 64 bit. i don't know the cause, and i've tried uninstalling and re installing it but no difference. hardware is not an issue, as i just built a new computer with some of the latest hardware.

i don't have this issue when i was in windows xp 32/64 bit, and again, symptoms only seemed to start after installing sp1 for windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. broswers tried: ie9, chrome, firefox, safari (safari seems to handle it slightly better, but symptom still present non the less).
I installed a new motherboard an asus p8p67 with a intel i3 and upgraded to windows 7 64bit. Everything went fine the first day, but next day everything kept telling me to install flash player which I already did that along with java. I went to control panel flash player was there hit update, says I had latest version. I uninstalled flash player went to adobe and downloaded it again, install process says I have the newest version already installed but I have no flash installed at this moment. The little bar at bottom keeps saying website wants to install following adobe flash player addon which is showing right now as I write this. I installed it at first with the default 32 bit internet explorer which is ie9 but now nothing seems to work and still have no flash player installed.
How can you copy one flash drive to another flash drive,on the same computer?

Windows Mobile Device Center doesn't work with Outlook 2010 if installed as 64 bit. Microsoft says to "fix" this by uninstalling Office 2010 and installing the 32 bit version! My question is are there any 3rd-party sync programs that will work with Windows 7 64 bit and Microsoft Office Outlook 64 bit and Windows Mobile 6.5 devices? I don't need to sync email but I do need to sync calendar, contacts, and tasks. And yes, I am aware that the iphone will sync with it! Silly Microsoft. I have 1.5 years left on my mobile contract with my Windows Mobile 6.5 phone?
I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and never had any problem installing 64-bit programs. Now, when a try to install any 64-bit programs it shows a message of incompatible version of the program with the running Windows, but my Windows 7 is 64 bits.
My computer got the BootMGR is missing problem, which I have had in the past which is not that big. I insert the Windows 7 64 Ultimate disk it starts up everything fine, press repair my computer and it finds the installation. But when I press on it and next it has an error pop up saying "This version of system recovery options is not conpattble with the version of windows you are trying to repair. Try using a recovery disc that i compatible with this version of Windows." If I dont select anything but press next it allows me to look at the screen Im supposed to, but if I go to command prompt or click autmatically repair nothing will be saved or changed. This is the same disc I installed Windows with and repaired it several times. But I did have to reset BIOS earlier so this may have affected something.
When I put a flash USB drive in my Windows 7 machine it gives a beep and tells me that the drivers have been loaded and the drive is ready for use.But I can't see it anywhere, it shows in 'Devices and Printers' but won't open from there. How do I get it to show up when I open 'Computer' from the Start button please.Tech Suppot Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.1OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium , Service Pack 1, 32 bitProcessor: AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core Processor, x64 Family 16 Model 2 Stepping 3Processor Count: 4RAM: 3583 MbGraphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series, 512 MbHard Drives: C: Total - 305141 MB, Free - 183571 MB; E: Total - 953867 MB, Free - 669909 MB; Motherboard: ASRock, N68C-S UCC,,Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials, Updated and Enabled
in 7 doesn't see any USB flash drives. Check in disk management - not showing up there either.AND........If I switch HDDs & revert to XP - same thing. No usb flash drives appear. And in control panel > disk management they do not appear as unassigned also.
I had a virus and am told I'm now clean - but I have two External hard drives that have all my stuff on them - that I don't want to lose (grimace). I downloaded the flash detector - but I can't get it to run - is it because it does not work on windows seven? If it does not is there something else I can maybe use?
I Can't find a flash player that works. everywhere I look it won't work. They say that it installs but when I go to a site that needs flash it doesn't work.
i've noticed that i can't get a flash player for my 64 bit ie so i've been using the 32 bit version, but i've got a problem.
playing some videos is fine... Internet and all of those are great.
my problem is when i go to a place like stickam or ustream or something like that ie closes on me when the site tries to access my camera and mic. that is annoying, but not too much of a problem.
my other problem is that i can't watch some embedded videos, even the ones i put into my own website from my own account on viddler. it just closes, restores the 'tab' and i go from there.
has anyone had this problem before? if so how did you fix it? i already tried the old 'uninstall and reinstall flash' bit and so far i've stuck out.
I'm using the latest FF release and when prompted to upgrade my Flash player, I do so. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and either way, a few days later I am prompted to upgrade again.
Don't know is this is a 7 issue or a FF issue or a Flash issue, but its getting tiring. Anyone else have this?
I bought a 500W PSU for my computer. It was too big for my apparently shorter than standard case, but when I was building my computer I flicked the red switch on the back (the europe to US voltage one) with it switched on (but the system wasn't functioning). There was a big green flash and a slight pinging noise.Just wondering, is that PSU totally done for?
i want to install Windows 7 to vhd, so i need to start install at boot , how can i install Windows 7 from hard disk?? i dont have a dvd and no flash above 2gb.
