An error has occurred for task RealUpgradeLogonTaskS-1-5-21-17410475-1320757554-3309179107-1000. Error message: The specified account name is not valid.
every time i create a new user account and try to log on i get error - windowssystem32configsystemprofiledesktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer or on a network.Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the internet or your network, and then try again. If still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location.- My other profiles work fine .
I'm using an Ethernet connection & I keep getting a message 'no valid network interfaces' on my Tosiba Satellite when I try to use a program. It works fine on my HP.
I want to install a programm and it tells me"You dont have access need to rerun from adminstrate account.I'm the only one using this.it's my computer. it happen before with a different work.
How do i access the already built-in administrator account so i can make security/privilege changes so that i can change time servers using the command linebecause every time i use the NET TIME command it gives me a "access denied" error; which tells me something, only Im not sure what needs to be changed. Also, it says I already am a administrator so why is it giving me a access denied message?
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Evaluation version 7100. The driver for the ethernet connection is some sort of Intel driver built in with the Dell E520 Motherboard. The thing is, the wireless works. I use a D-Link Xtreme N Desktop Adaptor (DWA-552).
But my computer is in such an awkward location in the house that it's not really an excellent option, so I got 20m of ethernet cable to hook up my PC to the router which is a D-Link DI-614+.
The Router and modem are connected to a PC that is running Windows XP. When I plug in the cable to my computer it sorts it out for a while but it ends up saying it doesn't have a valid IP address?
This only occurs with the ethernet cable and not the wireless. Could this be a case that my computer is too advanced? What if I rolled back to 32-bit or XP? The drivers for the DI-614 are already at the latest, and D-Link discontinued support for it like 5 years ago.
There are several other computers in the network and they work with the ethernet cable and wireless too, but they're all XP. So it's probably something with Windows 7. Having stable connection to the internet is just the main goal I want here.
I have been using Windows 7 beta (386) with no problems up until a few days ago.I've run into the The Network Adaptor "Local Area Connection" does not have a valid IP Configuration message. When I go to Network Sharing I see that I am connected to an Unidentified Network but unable to connect to the internet. This has happened all of a sudden.
I can connect to my WebDAV folder on my online server by BitKinex for example, but when I want to add a Network Location to the explorer it fails with the error message that the path is not valid ... but it is valid though.
From 2/3 days when i go to dvd-rom with dvd inserted start an installation: Quote: Product: PureHD -- Error 1706.No valid source could be found for product PureHD. The Windows Installer cannot continue. i search a solution but nothing..
I have already reported to Sony to but i heard their take their time but thats the one thing what i dont have at the moment so i know many people here know about that stuff to. So anyway. Some time ago SP1 launched for Windows 7. I installed but it but something went it wrong and it didn't install correcly and then i was forced to use System restore. Everything worked and i haven't used SP1 because i don't want to risk screwing up my computer before some important things, i got plenty of time later for that . The problem is after the system restore every time Vegas launches i get a error : Sony Vegas pro 10 an error occurred starting Vegas Pro Error 0x80070002 (message missing).
I have Windows 7, Live Mail. Mail with attachments come in with no problems, like photo attachments, but my mail will not go out with photos attached. They are not huge files. I get an error message "error/tasks" but then that screen freezes.
Before my computer was working fine when i am connecting to the internet using a portable usb internet huawei. Then one morning when i tried to connect i got this "Error: 720".
I have changed my graphic card (MSI N560GTX-TI) and new PSU (Corsair GS 700) and now my PC does NOT start, it gives me an error message: "error code biohd-2 warning no drives detected".Checked the cables, SATA ports, hardware diagnose, reset CMOS, removed the motherboard battery and nothing...My HD is a WD Caviar Green 2TB.
Installing applications, including ones that say they are Win 7 compatible, I get "not valid win32 application". Letting the system adjust compatibility does no good.I got Visual Studio 2005 installed with a banner at the end about "compatibility issues", and then got that error on all attempts to update. I've erased that and have ordered VS2010. Instrument drivers that a client will need also give me that error, even though they are supposed to be good for Win 7.This is my first Win 7 machine, have stayed with Win XP Pro up to now. My client is going to need Win 7. I hate to force him to go back to Win XP mode
In the past couple of days I have had the following WLM error message: The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Live Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.
HP laptop: after log on, message says "problem starting C:ProgramDataWindowsPolicyProfile.dll" and can't do anything at that point but shut it down. Did full MRT scan which found nothing. McAfee says no problems.
I can't find anything on this and all 501/505 message posts are related to Windows XP not 7. But, I have a 501/505 error message in my Windows 7. Funny thing, it is a problem with all my browsers (IE and Firefox) and I cannot access any website with the www. prefix. Urls without this prefix works fine. The only thing I can think of is that I downloaded and installed a Java update yesterday. Did this cause the 501/505 error problem? I also tried following the steps recommended by Microsoft for XP [URL]
I recently just starting having this problem in which it states that a specified modual cannot be found when i enter onto desptop?. I have no clue where this came from and it is very annoying. I have attached an image at the bottom of what specifically it states.
Whenever I boot up my computer, I get a message that says
"There was a problem starting 3DLCXtime.dll The specified module could not be found"
The box has an 'OK' button and an x in the top right, I just hit 'OK' and the box goes away and doesn't bug me, but I wish to have it stop, since it kinda worries me that it may be a larger problem that may slowly get bigger.
I keep getting a window with this error; when I close the window it simply reappears: "Application Error" Exception EListError in module en.cpl at 00013BF2, List index out of bounds (0)." It didn't appear after I tried opening any specific program, it just appeared randomly. Is this a virus? How do I stop this?
When I attempt to backup my User Directory I recieve an error message that this file is being used by another process and that the backup cannot proceed. how do I work around this?
