View 5 Replies View RelatedI started installing Veoh Web Player but decided to abort the installation. Now, every time I boot up, I get a message asking: A previous software installation was not completed. Would you like to continue installing Veoh?
I've tried everything I can think of. Even installed Veoh. But kept getting the message, even after Veoh was installed. Then I removed Veoh using uninstall in Control Panel and I still get the message every time I start up.

It's been installed for about a year and has gone through several updates, but for some reason this update came up saying your computer has set administrator policies against installation. I am the administrator of my computer and I'm the only one who uses it. I'm not sure what could havechanged. View 1 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I finished my first computer build. The process went smoothly until I installed Windows 7 and began to receive repeated blue screens. The BSODs have occurred in various situations such as: while attempting to update drivers, while installing Microsoft Security Essentials and during restarts. The problem is inconsistent and has caused various blue screen error codes that I cannot pinpoint (0x24, 0x3b, 0x34, 0x7e, 0x0a, 0xd1, 0x19). Within the last three days, my computer has blue screened 15 times .
As of now my drivers are up to date. I've also run chkdsk and memtest86+, but have yet to discover an error (in memtest86+ I tested my two RAM sticks individually and let it run for more than one pass).
My parts list consists of...
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz
GPU: SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870
Mobo: ASRock Z68 PRO3 GEN3
RAM: G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
PSU: SILVERSTONE ST50F-ES 500W
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 500GB
ODD: ASUS 24X DVD Burner
I've also attached the two latest minidumps. Hopefully, I've provided enough information to help solve this issue. I want to use my new computer!
Some hardware will work with Microsoft drivers, but my AMD X2 5000+ processor doesn't register on CPU-Z at anything approaching 3.0 gb. even after altering settings in setup which when i ran xp 64 immediately resulted in processor speed change. what's up?

After installation, my browser (win 8 IE9) would not work. It would say something like "Waiting for Yahoo.ca" and perpetually be like that. A quick restart would often fix the problem but more than not the next time I open the browser would not work again. I have yet to try this issue on other browsers.

Adobe Media Encoder won't even launch. I created a new user account they all run fine (so far). Same thing on my old machine running CS4.
1) Fixing my original user account (registry edit? some corrupt file somewhere?)
2) Transferring or recreating all my accounts, libraries, shortcuts, etc. to the new account and delete the old one. Is there an easy way to do this? Currently using Windows 7-64 (Pro)
