i cannot find or update the driver of my netbook !
Netbook : EasyNote LM82 FR
Model : Packard Bell
GC : Ati Radeon HD 5650 IGB
OS : Windows Seven Home Premium 64 Bit
I found something on this website, check the link ! Packard Bell EasyNote EN LM82 drivers for Windows 7 64-bit | laptop drivers, driver updates i'm downloading the Ati driver for my GC and i'll try installing it after the download !I don't know if this will work, because my GC actual driver is from January 2010 But the package has been released on March 2012.

If i remove/uninstall 'High Definition Audio Device' Driver in Device Manager will Windows Update find it again?Because im having crackling issues basicly the sound is really choppy and choppy basicly and it makes my ram go to 100%

I had installed a fresh windows 7 on my machine and did all the updates. But i had noticed that my video cards were not working together any more, so i went to the ATI CCC to find crossfireX to inable it, only to find that it was no longer on the list of opitions. I have went to the task tray and right click on the CCC icon and scrolled the two video cards to see if crossfireX was there and it wasn`t i have look through the net and checked on the differnt forums to find myself back to square one.

after a recent Windows 7 update all of a sudden my notebook cannot find my scanner. it prints fine thru same machine, but will not recognize scan function - says WAI driver missing. I never deleted any drivers. I have fixed it with a system restore, but it coninually updates and sys rest is extreme remedy that causes other problems.

I recently formatted my Dell Inspiron Duo netbook, with Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. I installed all of the software which I run on it without any problems.When I try to update Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus (32bit) Windows Update only finds a few updates, and after they're installed it doesn't find anymore updates. It doesn't even find Office 2010 SP1.{Note: I had no problems with other updates like Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or other Microsoft updates.I tried uninstalling Office 2010 and installing it again but nothing changed. The privacy settings which show up the first time you run an Office application I set it as "Recommended settings".I also tried downloading Office 2010 SP1 (32bit) and when I tried to run it an error came up saying something like version mismatch (I presume that you need to install other updates before running the setup & I also tried to download an other update but the same error came up.)

I've quite some Windows machines in my home network running XP Professional, Win7 Professional, Premium and Starter. Since about two weeks, EVERY system is complaining occasionally about local profiles that cannot be found after switching user (or on Starter, logging off and logging on to another user). The exact message is 'Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile'. Only by rebooting I'm able to get into my original profile.
Since I have seen this multiple times on XP, Win7 Starter and Win7 Professional, and only since about two weeks, this rather points to some 'fix' that I received with Windows Update. At least I can not imagine another reason.

I have an HP Dx7500 that run perfectly.Before making any change i made a checkpoint for future restore. Than i update my AHCI driver (Instead regular IDE) to "Intel ICH/10R SATA AHCI controller" and windows update can't run, no error.. just clicking and nothing move.I fix it for now with system restore.. but i want my hardware to be most updated.

Any one know if driver update should take longer. Have tried to update a number of my driversafter a clean install of win 7, example being, monitor, it has a generic pnp monitor driver. When i click update driver it asks if i want to look on net which i do, it then looks for 1 second before saying driver is up to date, surely it should take longer to look or is this normal & surely there is a better driver than a generic one.

I just started building a new computer and Im having an issue intalling Windows 7 Enterprise. I've got the Asus Crossfire V Formula motherboard, FX 8150, GTX 570, 16 GB Kingston HyperX memory, and Corsair 80 GB SSD. When I first try to install Windows, im getting an error that says "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have the driver floppy disk, CD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now." I have tried clearing the CMOS, checking the BIOS for AHCI configuration, and tried loading the latest ITE ATA driver on a disk to force it.

I have an LG W2242 monitor running from my laptop when I�m at my desk. Windows 7 has installed a generic pnp monitor driver, & does not allow me an option to remove it or update it. All options are greyed out. I want to update it with the LG drivers, because with the present driver, the screen does not respond to my power saving settings (the laptop screen does, when I�m using it).Does anybody know how I can force Windows to let me update the driver? I have been running win 7 for about 6 mths now dual boot with xp. I have done a fresh install and got rid of xp and running win 7 straight up. My system is a Gigabyte AM2+ with a phenomII black edition 4 core., 4gb ram onboard video.
Now for the question. i got thinking today and realized i hadnt installed any chipset drivers etc. I look in device manager and all the drivers are from microsoft and from 2006 ? So i go to gigabyte and get the win 7 download but all it installs is the graphic driver and usb filter driver nothing else. I try driver max and it says my drivers are up to date. What am i missing here.

I just installed the latest ATI drivers for my video card, now in Windows update, there's an important update there for my ATI video card.
I'm reluctant to install it because I don't want it to override the latest driver from ATI that I just installed. Will the driver from Windows update do that?
Am I correct in assuming that the driver directly from the manufacturer is better than the one coming from Microsoft? Or are they just essentially the same? The driver from Win update is only 9mb +, and I think the driver from ATI is over 20mb.
If I decide not to install it, how do I keep it from reminding me over & over.

I am puzzled why Windows 7 is refusing to install a newer Realtek driver version for my net card. Using the device manager's driver update I currently have version 7.2.1127.2008 installed
the new driver is:
7.009.1105.2009 (inf info) translates into 7.9.1105.2009 (me thinks)
pointing the driver update to this newer driver tells "the installed driver is up to date"?
what am I doing wrong?

I just ran into a problem with my computer. My computer is running windows 7 64bit.
I got a new graphics card in today and put in my computer to crossfire. After I booted my computer back up it loaded fine, albeit slow, but crashed while installing new drivers for the card. Since then I haven't been able to get back on to that SSD(boot drive).
I can't access the advanced boot options to roll back the drivers that were installed as soon as the SSD was booted up.
looking in my bios for a shortcut, pressing f8 twice per second, holding f8 down, pressing f8 as soon as the bios screen goes away in between the system attempting to load. I just can't get to the advanced boot menu!

For some reason the driver for my large format scanner will not install stating it is missing a file in the TEMP folder, however when I open it it is there. (It stopped working, along with my other printer drivers at the update) I tried shutting off firewall entirely, and turning on read/write permission on the user folder but nothing avails. I even did a system restore but could not go back beyond the first update which is where the problem started I guess. Also the Remove or restore function of the installer shows same error.
