The problem is when I go to the bios and go to advanced chipset features there is a option called "system performance" where i can choose between optimal/aggressive/turbo/expert. I want to put it on aggressive but when i do put it on aggressive and restart the pc, the screen stays black. Why is this?

Dec 22, 2012When playing back two channel pcm music on my diy home theater computer, the output begins to progressively contain random static as additional tracks are played. The operating system is windows 7 64 bit. There are no issues with 5.1 audio as it is always clean.My motherboard is an Asrock H67M and my processor is an i3-2100. The computer is connected to a Yamaha receiver via an HDMI cable.Video from the i3-2100 is outstanding on my 52" Sony TV. I am using the on board Intel display audio device as this appears to be the only way to transmit digital audio output to the receiver via HDMI. The only way to get clean sound when the static becomes unbearable is to turn the computer off and reboot. I'm not sure it matters, but the computer does contain a TV card.

Mar 7, 2012I have a problem playing live TV using Windows Media Player. I can select different TV channels without a problem. I can hear the audio clearly. However, i can not watch anything as it displays a black screen. I originally used WinTV (version 7, with the newest updated driver and software) and works fine. For video card, I have a GTX260 with the latest version (295.73) installed. I've tried different versions of driver (259.xx to 285.xx) to no avail. When I tried setting up the TV tuner it detects the tuner as Analog Cable (tuner 1) which I assume is the WinTV tuner.

Aug 27, 2011I'm running Windows 7 32 bit and I just noticed that all my drivers for the USB controllers, Audio/Sound devices and the Networking internet (Broadcom Netxtreme Drivers) have all died. They indicate that a Code 39 is the problem. I tried to load some of the drivers but it wouldn't allow them to install. I did a last known configuration attempt, no results. Did a system restore and it gave me an error message saying it didn't restore properly. I am trying to get the drivers online, burn them to a disk and load them. I have no internet access on that PC and the USB ports obviously don't work. I can get drivers on this PC online. Some I can't find. I did the uninstall driver, disable, all the usual for this problem. I am stumped. Any recovery attempts produce nil results. Thanks to Microsoft, I have no installation disc to do a new install or a backup image.

Jul 7, 2011So, I just upgraded my computer to windows 7 professional 32-bit. The hard drive was reformatted so there isn't much on it. Its been running for about 3 days now and has not been running properly from day one. It just freezes up and the screen goes black randomly. I get an error message that tells me the display drivers have stopped responding and recovered. It happens pretty often and I everytime I've tried to play a video it starts to act crazy. I have an EVGA Nvidia Geforce 9400GT 1GB Graphics card and I was using the 275.33 drivers but someone suggested going to a previous driver so now I am running 266.58.

Display Drivers Have Stopped Responding
Aug 7, 2012url...I installed it and started experiencing some serious problems. When i do anything slightly stressful on the system (mostly gaming) the game runs fine but after a few minutes (sometimes seconds) into gaming the screen will freeze, go black, then come back again. I get a pop up that says "Display drivers have stopped working and have recovered". This is extremely aggravating and stressful for me seeing as ive read a few things on this problem and all the trouble shooting ive done has got me no where. Ive tried keeping the system cooler, adjusting the OC, giving the cpu a bit more voltage, updating drivers, and taking the radeon 6450 i had in (with dual graphics enabled). The motherboard i have in here is a Gigabyte A75M-S2V.
