View 1 RepliesI've got a VAIO VGN-FE11M and got some "display troubles". Everytime I close my laptop the screen stays turned off for ever. Is there any solution?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, I just upgraded my computer to windows 7 professional 32-bit. The hard drive was reformatted so there isn't much on it. Its been running for about 3 days now and has not been running properly from day one. It just freezes up and the screen goes black randomly. I get an error message that tells me the display drivers have stopped responding and recovered. It happens pretty often and I everytime I've tried to play a video it starts to act crazy. I have an EVGA Nvidia Geforce 9400GT 1GB Graphics card and I was using the 275.33 drivers but someone suggested going to a previous driver so now I am running 266.58.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've got a problem when I start my laptop ( medion akoya ) after windows start up, the screen stays black & takes a while to display my desktop. I then get the yellow warning triangle with the following message: Display driver Intel graphics drivers for Windows 7 (R) stopped responding and have successfully recovered. Now this happens 90% of the time & some pics on some forums don't show up for me, just shows as a little square box. Also, When I run a scan, I get this: "";"D:DRIVER4. AudioRealtek_6.0.1. 6083MSHDQFEWin2K_ XPuskb888111xpsp2. exe";"The file is signed with a broken digital signature, issued by: Microsoft Corporation.";"". More than likely all connected, but I'm not very techy when it comes to computers. I've got 3 cd's that came with the lappy: Recovery disc, Microsoft Works 9 & Applications & support disc, I'm afraid if I put any of these in the drive that it will auto run lol. Can somebody please tell me, is it just a matter of using one of these discs to re-install the the above drivers & if so, which disc??
View 3 Replies View Relatedso i was bored and i decided to take a look at the screen resolution and i saw the Detect button at:Control PanelAll Control Panel Items Display Screen Resolution and it found another monitor and i clicked on it and then clicked on apply.since then i always see a black screen.i tried to fix it somehow from safe mode but no luck.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a ATI Radeon 7500 and i can't let windows 7 Build 7600 find it. It says under display monitor its a Standard VGA graphics adapter. I'm getting really annoyed because i can't play counter-strike...and i installed many different drivers for it but it just doesn't work. and i also wanted the Control Center but idk how as well. I upgraded today to windows 7 from XP...and dumb me didnt backup ANYTHING after a full clean wipe. So im getting really agitated and not patient about it. please help!!
and as well with my monitor display says Generic pnp Monitor and i can't find the drivers for my monitor anywhere! even on the gateway site. I have a 19" Gateway LE HD widescreen.
url...I installed it and started experiencing some serious problems. When i do anything slightly stressful on the system (mostly gaming) the game runs fine but after a few minutes (sometimes seconds) into gaming the screen will freeze, go black, then come back again. I get a pop up that says "Display drivers have stopped working and have recovered". This is extremely aggravating and stressful for me seeing as ive read a few things on this problem and all the trouble shooting ive done has got me no where. Ive tried keeping the system cooler, adjusting the OC, giving the cpu a bit more voltage, updating drivers, and taking the radeon 6450 i had in (with dual graphics enabled). The motherboard i have in here is a Gigabyte A75M-S2V.

So, I power down and reboot and I get a black/blank screen and 2 beeps from the MB. So, I turn off my computer and I have to remove my Graphics card to access the OS again. Can anyone suggest an option or two that will help me restore to SLI mode?

View 1 Replies View Relatednew to these forums as I have run into a recent problem with my display drivers. To start I am running:[CODE]I recently reformatted Windows 7 and now when I try to update either my Intel or Nvidia card, they both fail. The Intel update will most often say that my computer is not compatible, or that it simply fails. On the nvidia update I get the classic "Nvidia Installer failed" after trying both Express, Custom, and clean installs. In my first attempt at this I uninstalled my drivers and then tried installing, even in safe mode, and I could never get it to work. I did another install of windows in another attempt to restart the process but still no solution worked. I have browsed forums for about a day or two now and still have not found a viable option. The games I play do not open and usually crash after their first loading screen, however after I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers I was able to open the games at a low performance on the intel card, which leads me to think this Nvidia bug is the problem.
It is probably important to note that this was the first time I had reformatted since the laptop was purchased about a year ago, and that I also did it in a different format that I wasn't even really sure about doing. Rather than using the Windows install disc that came with the laptop (it is of course misplaced), I used the Windows Restore to go back to factory settings. I'm not sure if this may have played a role, but I am all out of ideas.
My Laptop has switchable graphics (intel+amd radeon). I disabled the display drivers from the device manager in properties of my computer for programming purposes. i forgot to enable the drivers before shutting down the laptop and now i am facing a problem in booting my system. The windows logo appears and after that just a blank screen with a mouse pointer. can i enable the display adapters from dos?

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy computer was working fine for months. One day it wouldn't load windows and it was stuck at the black screen with the logo. I have searched the web and I am at the point where windows only starts in safe mode and when the drivers are disabled. I have used another video card and have even falled back on using the onboard video. The results are the same. What is keeping windows from loading the video drivers (Nvidia and Ati alike)? I have a spare drive with win7 and it loads/ starts with no problems so it is an issue with my main drive rather than the video cards or memory.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt first happened while I was playing Diablo III. The colors on the screen went crazy then Diablo froze and the screen started flashing which eventually lead to a crash and a blue screen. After the reboot windows started and automatically ran the cmd prompt with winSAT trying to diagnose something? It would go through the process and it seemed like it was just looping over and over with no solution. I closed the cmd prompt and it crashed shortly after, with the same errors.

On the next reboot I then ran in safe mode and did a system restore hoping it would clear up. It did not. After the restore it did the same thing and eventually crashed again. Here I have both the dump files from the incidents (it only recorded two of them). I have googled and read up a lot on similar errors and it seems to be either a hardware issue or a driver problem. I am downloading drivers right now and will see what happens, but I am doubtful. Also when the blue screen came up, it said something about the "nvlddmkm.sys" file, but I don't recall what it said. It was too fast for me to catch it all.
I got a new video card at work to install and nothing will show up when I plug it in. I can go through the computers VGA and it works fine, but when I go to the video card only a black screen. Any help? Can't download drivers either, only black screen upon boot.
