Sep 24, 2009i've been using windows 7 since the rtm was released, since the new fall tv line up started i began to view full episodes on network's website as always. i realized that either the ati driver or windows 7 have a problem with flash videos (or flash?).
i never experienced something wrong before with windows xp, the playback was smooth (considering all 24p movies with 75hz refresh) but now abc.com in 720p is annoying jerky, cbs 1080p is literally unwatchable, Internet's 720p files are really jerky. i also tried bbc player (with a proxy), same results.
i'm sure it's a software problem (maybe they added a new useless feature in windows 7 drivers that does that) since this only happens when i'm in fullscreen and the cpu usage is always below 30% with hd streaming. again, this only happens in flash, no problem with videos played with local players, even 1080p blu-rays are flawless with both software and hardware decoding.
i tried to reinstall windows xp to see if maybe i was mistaken but the problem doesn''t present there, everything's fine. plus i tried another pc with windows 7 with a "crappy" nvdia integrated video card, no jerkiness, even with cbs 1080p streaming.
i have an ati hd 2600 pro, i tried to reinstall 9.7 and 9.8 drivers with no change, does anybody have the same problems and maybe a solution?

Nov 8, 2009i have a radeon 2600 hd pro 512 (agp) and im using a Abit AV8 motherboard which is a VIA motherboard not nforce i have tried all the drivers, nothing works, tried the original ati drivers nope, tried the sapphire drivers nope, why make a card that ain't gonna work on windows 7

the 1.1 microsoft drivers are completly rubbish, cant run anything graphical like a game or that no good.

Dec 30, 2011when i installed windows 7 i tried to install drivers ..realtek driver was succesfully installed but when im trying to install video driver in the middle of installation comes out message "the monitor might flicker" or sth like that and than monitor becomes black and than blue screen appears with error and immediately the monitor switchs off with message "out of range 28 khz30 khz"

The problem is when I go to the bios and go to advanced chipset features there is a option called "system performance" where i can choose between optimal/aggressive/turbo/expert. I want to put it on aggressive but when i do put it on aggressive and restart the pc, the screen stays black. Why is this?

and I have spent many hours trying to get 7 to detect that there is two cores in this thing and that it needs to utilize them both. But I'm not really sure if there is a driver out there that I can use... The setup I found would say its not compatible with this OS when I ran it.

Sep 22, 2012I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely?

When I am in safe mode, none of these problems occur. My operating system is windows 7. Because sometimes my display driver recovers when I tilt my computer a certain way when it seems to "crash" and the fact that this problem doesn't even occur in safe mode.

Windows 7 64 Bit GTX 560 Display Driver?
Sep 19, 2011When I attempt to install my graphics driver (Nvidia Geforce GTX 560) and attempt to reboot my PC it proceeds past the POST screen and onto the "Loading Windows" screen, after the logo appears and finishes loading, instead of it moving on to my login screen it hangs on a blank BLACK screen with just my mouse pointer visible.Regardless of how many times I reboot my PC it always hangs right after the windows logo screen, I have attempted to do restores about 10 times and each time I restore I boots up fine, until I install the display drivers and attempt to restart. It does boot up in safe mode, and works fine on fresh installs.I have tried running the repair tool on the windows 7 disc, and in safe mode with no avail it tells me nothing is wrong. I attempted to run the start up repair and that also says nothing is wrong.
When I go into Device Manager under Display Adapters after I complete a system restore it does say "Nvidia Geforce GTX 560" and that it is working properly. Although it says I need to reboot to complete the update, which must be because this particular working system restore point was created after I installed the driver but before I restarted my pc. The only issue is when I go to restart my pc it hangs on the black screen again. Specs:[CODE]
