View 1 Replies View RelatedFor several months I used Beta Build 7000 and RC Build 7100.
And without any problem I installed my onboard video driver
VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro - IGP.
The same happened with the Build 7229.
After installing the Build 7264 and then installing Build 7600, my driver doesn´t install anymore. Windows 7 said, it isn´t supported by the new OS.
And it doesn´t exist any update for my driver. So, I´m using the STANDARD VGA GRAPHIC ADAPTER coming with the Windows 7, but I can´t change the resolution. So, it works with 800x400.
I tried to install the driver in safe mode and in different compatibility modes, but on both ways it didn´t install the driver. I also uninstalled the driver, and then tried to install the original dirver but nothing worked. And now, I don´t have money to by another graphic card, but I want to continue using Windows 7.
Now I´m using Build 7264 x86 and Build 7600 x64.
Exists the possibility em trying to install the native Standard VGA Graphic Adapter which comes with Build 7100 ? If yes, where can I find both drivers to download (x86 and x64) ?
Anyone know where I can find a Vista or Windows 7 driver for a Via/S3G UniChrome IGP video card?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I attempt to install my graphics driver (Nvidia Geforce GTX 560) and attempt to reboot my PC it proceeds past the POST screen and onto the "Loading Windows" screen, after the logo appears and finishes loading, instead of it moving on to my login screen it hangs on a blank BLACK screen with just my mouse pointer visible.Regardless of how many times I reboot my PC it always hangs right after the windows logo screen, I have attempted to do restores about 10 times and each time I restore I boots up fine, until I install the display drivers and attempt to restart. It does boot up in safe mode, and works fine on fresh installs.I have tried running the repair tool on the windows 7 disc, and in safe mode with no avail it tells me nothing is wrong. I attempted to run the start up repair and that also says nothing is wrong.
When I go into Device Manager under Display Adapters after I complete a system restore it does say "Nvidia Geforce GTX 560" and that it is working properly. Although it says I need to reboot to complete the update, which must be because this particular working system restore point was created after I installed the driver but before I restarted my pc. The only issue is when I go to restart my pc it hangs on the black screen again. Specs:[CODE]

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter uninstalling and attempting to reinstall my ATI Radeon HD 3450 AGP display driver I still only have the standart VGA display driver in my device manager. I tried to install my original drivers several times with no solution and even tried downloading the latest drivers from amd.com but nothing was solved. It all started because of a minor taskbar bug (taskbar ignored mouse until ctrl+alt+del was pressed) and on most forums I found posts saying that its the display driwer fault. It isnt. I still have the bug even though I have the basic driver. Eventually I d get over the bug but without the correct driver my video card is practically useless. Is there a way to fix this without having to reinstall the vhole system?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am constantly using my netbook for school work and other things. I often have to plug it into external monitors by HDMI output, and all worked fine until yesterday. Now, when I go to Desktop-> Screen resolution (to choose my display), I always have an extra option even if I'm not connected to anything. It's called "VGA Display Device". If I'm right, it seems that my GPU detects my VGA driver as an external display, like a bug/glitch or something.

Two days ago, my brother complained to me about his laptop, Windows seemed to have just froze, with screen tearing and weird lines all over the screen. I told him to restart his laptop. Upon restarting, the entire was black, with the windows logo stretched across the screen, all torn. But I could still hear the Windows noises it makes when it logs in, So this got me thinking, could it be an issue with his Display Driver?
I booted in Safe Mode to see if it would boot up, it works fine. No black screen, no tearing, nothing. Which makes me think that it must be a issue with his Driver. I asked him if he's made any changes recently to his drivers and he said no.
I next went into the Device Manager to find his Display Adapter, and I disabled it. I then restarted his laptop to see if it'll work, and it worked. No problem, no screen tearing, it logged him in fine. I next went about uninstalling and reinstalling his driver.
I rebooted it into Safe Mode and uninstalled his driver from the Device Manager. Then, I went about reinstalling it again, so I went to the ATI website, AMD or something I think it was called, and I had to download the AMD Vistion Engine Control Center. It found drivers for several things, including his Display Graphics. So I downloaded them, installed them. I restarted his laptop, but the same thing happened. Black Screen, screen tearing, Windows Logo stretched and torn.
It's my parents computer out in the living room, a Compaq Presario SR1135CL.
I installed an EVGA GeForce FX5600 Ultra to enable Aero and so that the computer will run at the monitors native resolution of 1366x768. The generics work fine, but then it only supports up to 1024x768 and no Aero.
Once I install the drivers and reboot the computer it goes to a blank screen after running through the boot screen. I ran updates and then tried it again with the same problem.
After a reboot it recommends startup repair, and startup repair reports that the problem cannot be repaired automatically.
I've installed in safe mode and in compatibility mode, almost any possible form of installing the drivers. I've tried doing it via Device Manager and pointing it to the directory that the installer package is extracted to, all with the same result.
It is important that I get this resolved because the computer is used mainly for work purposes and the low resolution of 1024x768 doesn't meet the requirements of the desktop real estate needed.
I just did an fresh installation of Win 7 on my Sony VGN-Sz43GN. However, I can't find a correct display driver for the Nvidia GoForce 7400 (notebook). I went to the NVIDIA web site and download the win 7 64-bit driver. But it does not allow me to installation. The release note on the NVIDIA web site said that for the Vaio VGN model should refer back to the vendor.
