I know this is going to sound like a daft question but my father has a Radeon HD 3850 x2 from ASUS and it's a great card, but we're coming stuck about the actual display resolution of the card; it being a dual link I'm some what confused as to how you would go about calculating the actual maximum display resolution of the Dual Link ports to 2 SEPERATE monitors not to one! My father is planning on running two 22" at a display resolution of 1920x1080 at 60hz and the maximum display resolution of the Dual link ports is 2560x1600 at 85hz.. I'm not sure whether the card will run both at 1920x1080@60hz
Win 7-64 on Gateway FX6860 i7 system 8gm ram tons of HD space. Got "Page Failed to Load" error attempting to change my Windows 7-64bit display resolution. This used to work, but no more ( don't know what might have caused it). I ran "sfc /scannow". SFC reported that there were corrupted files that could not be repaired or replaced and to look at CBS.log. I did but can make no sense out of it.
I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely?
UPDATE: After some searching I found that the camera is controlled by a Realtek 5828T camera controller. Can anyone help me find a driver for this? The Realtek site doesn't have it listed.Unfortuneatly the webcam on my ASUS UX32VD stopped working a couple of days ago. I called ASUS support and they said they had no idea where to download the drivers from and couldn't provide me with any other solution than reimaging from the hidden partition. I'm hoping someone here can help me locate the drivers for this webcam. The strange thing is, I can't find any trace of the webcam in the device manager.Below is a list of drivers and software I have already uninstalled and reinstalled from the asus support website:ExpressCache, FaceLogon, LifeFrame3, Virtual Camera, USB3 Drivers, USB Charger Plus, ATKPackage. I've also ran a system restore back to a date when the camera was working but to no avail.
Install Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on PC with Asus P5SD2-X motherboard and there is no sound!Do you have a audio driver Asus P5SD2-X for Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit?
When I attempt to install my graphics driver (Nvidia Geforce GTX 560) and attempt to reboot my PC it proceeds past the POST screen and onto the "Loading Windows" screen, after the logo appears and finishes loading, instead of it moving on to my login screen it hangs on a blank BLACK screen with just my mouse pointer visible.Regardless of how many times I reboot my PC it always hangs right after the windows logo screen, I have attempted to do restores about 10 times and each time I restore I boots up fine, until I install the display drivers and attempt to restart. It does boot up in safe mode, and works fine on fresh installs.I have tried running the repair tool on the windows 7 disc, and in safe mode with no avail it tells me nothing is wrong. I attempted to run the start up repair and that also says nothing is wrong.
When I go into Device Manager under Display Adapters after I complete a system restore it does say "Nvidia Geforce GTX 560" and that it is working properly. Although it says I need to reboot to complete the update, which must be because this particular working system restore point was created after I installed the driver but before I restarted my pc. The only issue is when I go to restart my pc it hangs on the black screen again. Specs:[CODE]
I have an old game tht requires win 95/98. I'm currently running windows 7. The cd will not run although I was able to add it to my programs. How can I fix this?
Just installed my windows 7 Ultimate, and when ever i open any of my browser, it keeps shaking, when i open any windows. some times, the monitor goes blank, and comes back on shaking.
After uninstalling and attempting to reinstall my ATI Radeon HD 3450 AGP display driver I still only have the standart VGA display driver in my device manager. I tried to install my original drivers several times with no solution and even tried downloading the latest drivers from amd.com but nothing was solved. It all started because of a minor taskbar bug (taskbar ignored mouse until ctrl+alt+del was pressed) and on most forums I found posts saying that its the display driwer fault. It isnt. I still have the bug even though I have the basic driver. Eventually I d get over the bug but without the correct driver my video card is practically useless. Is there a way to fix this without having to reinstall the vhole system?
