Play All Button Association?
Feb 15, 2011in the Music folder, there's a "play all" button so you can play the whole album you've opened. When I click this button, it tries to play them all in WMP but I have set all my preferences and file associations for music to play with "media player classic".I haven't actually initialized WMP yet (just reinstalled windows 7) and I'd prefer not to as it had a habbit before of randomly trying to play things that were no longer associated with it.

I used to be able to control any media program with these keys (ie: spotify and itunes) but it now only seems to work on WMP.

Apr 7, 2011I double click to open one single folder and all folder icons on my desktop highlight. I consistently get dialogue boxes that appear and will not go away until I use Ccleaner. My computer guy says no cleaners as it deletes some important reg files. But this is the only way these things will go away. whats up.

Jun 9, 2011recently I used a software AVG PC Tuneup and it has never been a problem for me until a couple of days ago when I decided to install it on my DELL. Now, I went to system advisory and did a system scan on recommended settings, I pressed 'fix selected' and my Wifi was disabled, I tried everything. I can't get my wifi to work without plugging in my modem directly ot my pc. I noticed my wifi radio was disabled, so I pressed the F2 button but nothing worked. I am trying to re enable my wifi radio / wireless radio connection button but it won't work.
My program intel my wifi utility tells me my wifi is disabled but I can't enable it.

However when I try to run a movie through jet audio or even just play music through zune player, they freeze up. The audio will still come through, but either the picture is frozen in place or the zune player seems to get frozen.

I was wondering whether it is possible to record some sort of macro or similar that would enable me to do this. Oct 14, 2011Windows 7 32bit new install of 2 weeks. No changes that I can think of prior to the login problem. Windows boots to Ctrl Alt Del and when that is entered a Cancel button appears on the screen. when the cancel button is pressed the Ctrl Alt Del is back. I have tried the follow to fix the login issue. Remote Registry connection to create a AutoLogon by adding (DefaultName/Password/Domain) etc. That registry hack worked in that the Ctrl Alt Del window no longer came up but it then went directly to the Cancel button. Next I tried doing a restore to an earlier date by booting from a Win7 DVD. Results were NO Change. Then I tried doing a boot repair booting from the Win7 DVD. (and as the problem isn't with the boot, it is with the logon there was NO Change)

Sep 24, 2012Occasionally, when on a web page with pictures/video/flash, the screen will "freeze" and have some random colored pixels appear or sometimes it will just go black. Sometimes when this happens the whole system will remain locked. Other times it will recover and I will get a notification balloon saying the the graphics driver has stopped and recovered from an error. I've looked for answers to this on the web and I have seen reference to it being caused by a Windows timeout waiting for a response from the video card. Is there a way to modify (extend) the timeout value to try to prevent this? I have the latest drivers. In my case the graphics card is NVidea Quadro FX 1800M on a Dell Precision M4500 notebook (8G RAM). OS: Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit.
