When I select 'New Email' (to create a new e-mail) or "Reply" the template does not come up on the screen.When I go to the task bar I can see the templates but they won't appear on the screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using an ASUS monitor model ML228, ATI Radeon HD 3300 Graphics, and Windows 7 32-bit. I have used this monitor before at the correct resolution of 1920x1080, but now it is not available to select from the screen resolution manager.
I read through a couple of other threads that said to uninstall and reinstall the driver from device manager for both my graphics card and the monitor and it says both are up to date and nothing changed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently ordered a desktop online with win 7-asus m5a88-m mb, amd fx 4100 bulldozer quad core processor with a wd 1 terabyte hd. I put in my own radeon r6750 core edition grphix card. This pc ran amazingly for approx. 2 months. Then all of the sudden upon cold start only, makes a loud humming, it goes to black screen with the words "REBOOT AND SELECT PROPER BOOT DEVICE OR INSERT BOOT MEDIA IN SELECTED BOOT DEVICE PRESS ANY KEY." Then the humming subsides,i turn it off and right back on and runs fantastic. It does this everyday. Things i have tried: got to bios and change priority order to hd first, replace hd, sent back to company and it was fixed for 2 days and doing it again. I should also mention that they completely reloaded windows and replaced the ram.

Of course, you can change the folder template to one of General Items, Documents, Pictures, Music and Videos manually.Here is my problem, for example, I have three folders: A, B and C. Folder A is located in D:, B is a subfolder to A, and C is a subfolder to B. (D:ABC)If I change the folder template of A, from General Items to Pictures, for example, the folder templates of both B and C will also be changed to Pictures. AND, if I change the folder template of C to Documents, the folder templates of A and B will be changed to Documents too. View 6 Replies View RelatedI've installed a 32-bit Metastock program in my 64-bit Windows 7. The program uses lots of templates and I imported them from a 32-bit Windows XP system. They work well but when I create a new template in Windows 7 the icon for that template has a golden lock attached to it. I can delete the template but I can't copy it, edit it, or replace another template with it. There are several posts in this Forum but I couldn't determine if they were talking about the same problem I have and I really didn't understand the fixes recommended. Looks like Microsoft has created a clever but obscure procedure that's hard to change.

I attached a picture of what I mean. Things I have tried so far is disabling firewall for a moment and reloading the page this did nothing, have tried loading on firefox, chrome, and IE (most recent versions of all) It has been about 2 weeks that I started noticing it and its becoming very frustrating. I also tried reinstalling flash player as that is the only thing that has been changed in the last two weeks on my computer.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a really strange issue with Internet Explorer 9. 95% of the time I launch it and everything is pretty much instant. However occasionally it will hang for a few secs on 'waiting for reply'. Tends to happen to all web pages but more specifically noticed it on Google.com and Yahoo.com. It never used to be this way. I have a fibre to cabinet broadband connection and everything is fast. I cannot pinpoint when this started happening. Nothing new on the laptop has been installed, some windows updates a couple weeks ago but in the aftermath of installing these all was fine.
The problem may of existed a lot longer but I had not noticed. The really strange thing is it tends to manifest itself most after poking around in the network/sharing center. I am always looking at the strength of the wifi connection and checking the connected speed of the 5g wifi. Tends to happen most after I've been in here and then launch internet explorer. Slight pause of 3 or 4 seconds and then the page is there (google being my homepage). But not every time. Things I have tried is clearing the IE cache, flush DNS. I could change the DNS settings but namebench revealed my current ones were fastest. Mozilla seems to be responsive all the time. So I am thinking it's more IE9 only showing this odd behaviour. Other than that all is good on the laptop, no other problems.
I am running Mozilla Firefox and after recently updating Firefox and plug ins, noticed my email screen has strikethroughs on all the tabs at the top of the screen above the inbox: delete, reply,forward, move, spam, actions. In addition the check boxes next to each individual email (for fast check off and delete) is missingTo the left of the Inbox are my folders and they also have strikethroughs on the Check mail, New, and go tabs.The email is functional, but the entire screen looks like its unfinished.
View 7 Replies View RelatedEarlier today I turned on my Toshiba laptop (Satellite P855-S5200) and got some sort of error screen, and then it brought me to a screen asking if I wanted to do a system repair or start windows normally. I chose system repair, but then it seemed to get stuck in that process (It was taking forever and nothing was happening), so I turned off the laptop (I know, big no no), booted in safe mode, and did a system restore to a restore point from about a week ago. The "starting Windows" screen came and went, no problem. Everything seemed fine till I got to the User Selection screen (the default blue one with the little hummingbird or whatever). Then it just sat there on that screen. I could see the hummingbird and the little squiggly lines, but there were no buttons to click my user. I just let it sit there, and after about 5 minutes, the user names popped up, and I was able to continue using the computer without any problems, no other speed issues whatsoever. It now makes me wait every time, always about 5 minutes, before the user names pop up. It does this when I restart the machine and when I try to switch users.

The problem is when I go to Windows Live Mail, I get a screen that distorts my background and the email headers are a bright blue with white letters that I can't read. when I x-out of mail the screen goes black and then restores to the normal background.

When I reply to an email by using the "reply" function (where the sender's text is included) both my text, which I type in above the sender's text, and the sender's text somehow disappear and I end up sending a blank email - which I only find out when I check my Sent Messages or when the recipient queries the blank text! This doesn't happen every time. Does anyone know how to sort this out?
