I've got a fairly new Dell Inspiron ONE computer with Window 7. Every since I bought it new some website home pages intermittently will not load completely. Sometimes I can refresh the page and it will open. I keep the cookies along with defragging on a regular basis. After clearing cookies I can sometime reboot and the websites will load ok. Also sometimes the page may continue to load and sometime it will stop loading and only the website header will appear. Some days I can go all day and all website will load ok.
I dont konw if this is a bug or what. But I can't seem to get certain websites to load that I was frequenting in the past weeks, but now find that the site wont load completely!Yes I am unemployed, trying to find work right now.
Acer All In One computer with IE 8 and Windows 7. Some web sites load fine but others don't come up. Tried Firefox and no difference. Had similar issue with previous computer and used Windows Transfer to move evrything off that to new Acer. Seems to be getting worse. Use Qwest DSL hard connection. Can VPN to work ccomputer and bring up the web sites that won't load locally. Have tries variuos scans and nothing is found. For instance can get into US Bank site and Vanguard, but not Tax Act or Fidelity.
I am having a strange problem loading certain websites from my new computer. I'm sure there is a relatively straight forward solution to my problem, but I am too ignorant to solve it myself. I have done plenty of google searching, but so far have not uncovered any solutions. My PC specs are in my profile.Very often when I search for an item on Ebay, or load a certain (legal) movie streaming website, the websites take a long time to load, and the thumbnail images do not load properly. i.e sometimes a few load, while the rest do not (e.g. just say "Item Image"). This problem occurs with both IE and Firefox. It is not the "Load Images Automatically" option in Firefox, as that has always been selected.
My computer has both a Wireless and LAN connection to my router. Usually only one of the connections is enabled. I have found a work-around that fixes the problem for a short while. If I try load the certain movie streaming website, and I am having problems, I disable the network connection (e.g LAN) and enable the other one (e.g. wireless). The website often loads then. If not, I re-enable it the way it was, and it usually works then. I can then access the site properly, although all the images still do not load - usually about 3/4 do. I am using a VPN to access the movie streaming site. However, I also access this site from two laptops in the house, both through the VPN, and they have no trouble at all loading the website correctly.
The last few days when I've been viewing websites on any browser (IE, FF, Chrome, Opera), they haven't been loading or displaying properly. Sometimes they're fine but frequently, pages aren't loading entirely, displaying html code. Images are distorted, blurred or looks wrong. Sometimes refreshing the page loads everything and sometimes it doesn't help. Here are some examples.
I'm using Google Chrome and when loading theverge.com, my cursor consistently freezes for a few seconds before resuming normal movement later. What is causing such freezes?
As a former Linux user, I didn't think about installing any virus protection software when I first bought my current laptop (Samsung R580) that runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. My laptop was fine for the first 6-8 months until I some strange things started happening. When I would Google something and click on a search result, I would be redirected to a website trying to sell me things. A friend of mine did some research, and told me my laptop had something called a "click jacker". We found a work-around. Then, I was primarily using Google Chrome as my browser of choice until it started loading websites slowly and then not at all. I switched to Mozilla Firefox for a while until it started behaving the same way. Now, I am using IE which is working great, but what do I do when the same thing happens to this web browser? I would really like to start fresh, but I have never attempted anything like that before.
I am having a problem on my system, when I go to a web site (don't matter what one) I cant see all of the little pics that are suppose to be there, its like half of my stuff on the screen is missing, thought it was flash player, but that's not it.

One particular site that is not loading at all, on any browsers on my computer is [URL]. There are many more that fail to load as well. I did test these sites on my iPhone with no problems though. There are a handful of other sites that do open but do not load properly [missing images, ect.] I also thought that it might be malware but I installed & scanned my computer with four different programs which did not solve the problem. I'm guessing that it still may be some problem on the software side with settings but I can't seem to figure out where to look. BTW, I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials as my antivirus program for the past couple of days now. Prior to that I was using Avira but it seemed to be giving me problems so I uninstalled it and installed the Microsoft app.
During a recent windows update my pc froze, (mid-update) and I restarted my machine. Now windows gets stuck at the black" Loading operating system..."screen. After a long wait it will eventually display boot from cd/. When I boot from my windows dvd my os is not shown in system recovery. I Have also tried running start up repair from recovery with no luck.
so i recently reformated my computer. However, i cannot seem to log into newegg at all. when i enter my username and password it just goes back to the home page without logging in. I tried it on firefox, IE, and chrome. Ive read that firefox sometimes has this problem but im experiencing this problem with all my browsers.
First I tried drag-and-drop. Then the "add to favorites bar" star with the green arrow at the left end of the favorites bar. Finally selected the favorites bar at the top of the regular "add to favorites" procedure.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium with the latest updates. I have a strange problem.I can go to some websites, but not others. For example, I can load Find a Local Business,Ratings, Reviews, Deals | Angie's List, but not https://my.angieslist.com/angieslist/login.aspx.I have switched from automatic DNS lookup to fixed DNS, but that makes no difference.the same problem is experienced with Firefox, Opera, and IE. I called Angies List and they do not have any issues ie, they were able to log into my account.
Basically, an assortment of websites have trouble loading. Some times they will take a couple refreshes to load, sometimes they will load in HTML after a long time, and some don't load at all. Sometimes a website will work fine, but then not load the next day. It's starting to really piss me off, especially since it affects such websites as:
- SoundCloud - Twitch.tv - Justin.tv - The Escapist - Facebook (occasionally) - Many more!
As far as I can tell, this all started a few months ago. My internet spontaneously stopped working. I called my ISP (TelstraClear NZ), and the operator did some troubleshooting. Eventually the problem just seemed to fix itself after I unplugged and replugged my modem; I guess it reset my connection.I have a SURFBoard modem and a Netgear wireless router. The things I've done to try fix are:
- Changing my DNS servers - many times - Using a different OS/computer - Using a different browser - Pinging the servers of stuck websites. Often I can't reach them with a ping - Turning off/unplugging my modem and router - Plugging my modem directly into the computer
I'm at my wit's end as to what the problem is. Everything i can see suggests that this is a DNS problem - the seemingly arbitrary times websites won't work, my inability to ping them, the random assortment of affected websites. The only other thing that would make sense to me is that it is my ISP causing the problem - but only for my connection.
I am having trouble loading certain websites in all browsers. I keep getting messages that say the connection timed out. Certain websites like google and hotmail will load. others like wikipedia will not. yahoo.com loads sometimes and not at others. I called my ISP and they say I have malware. I do not understand how they know this. I have run a scan using malwarebytes and no malicious items were detected
i have an new installed PC, from a WDS/RIS service.on one of the PC's the IE9 wont open certain websites, like [URL] but it can in Chrome.but if i log on the local administrator i fly though to the website in IE9, but not on that user.the user profile has been deleted, and given him a new installed PC?
I have had my new computer for 2 weeks and already have run into a problem. Certain websites all of a sudden will not load in any browser. Some websites work fine, and my computer still seems to be very fast, however other sites will not load. Also certain photos in facebook and other sites will not load. Need to get this fixed ASAP as I work full time on my comp.
I have a client that has 9 work stations hardwired and 3 laptops wireless and 1 server hard wired and none of them can connect to 2 specific websites. The workstations are running Windows 7 Pro 64bit, laptops are Windows XP Pro and the server is Windows Server 2008 Standard R2 64bit. They were all able to open the 2 sites last Friday and now they cannot. I can ping and trace rout the IP address of the 2 sites and get no loss but if I ping/trace rout the site name it will not work. I know its not the sites that are having the problem because I can open it on my cell phone. But when I hook up my phone to their wireless I cannot open the site. If I put a static DNS IP of their ISP on the computers then I am able to connect to the 2 sites. I called there ISP and they said something must of changed in there network but I check all there settings and nothing has changed. I have never seen this before and am at a loss of what to do.
Recently, I could not access certain websites like Facebook. They will not load properly or won't load at all. I tried accessing them through my Phone and another laptop on the same Home Wifi connection and it works just fine on them.I tried clearing my cache, flushing the DNS, installing Malwarebytes, running scans.I use Windows 7, Home Premium edition. Microsoft Security Essentials.
I have never been able to connect to Facebook since obtaining this new computer. It will either give the Internet Explorere page that says "Internet Explorer cannot display the page" or it will go to BING with Facebook as a search result option.
I have tried deleting cookies, deleting Security Essentials annd adjusting pop-ups and other security settings - nothing seems to work I have also tried it with Google Chrome - does not work - goes to BING page. This computer in on a wireless network - Netopia router, Netgear USB wireless adapter, Bellsouth business FastAccess service.
trying to promote business through Facebook and Twitter (Can't get to Twitter either!)

Certain websites such as eBay, Facebook & Hotmail are not loading correctly. Once I hit log in the page just shows as text to the left hand side of the screen. I have cleared all history, cookies & cache, I have restarted my computer, I have tried accessing them under a different windows PC user name, upgraded Mozilla, tried internet explorer, upgraded Java and made sure it was enabled.
I can use my internet just fine except for two specific web-sites (that I know of) that crash when I try to access them. those two websites are: what.cd and utorrent.com. when I type them into the search bar, I get this:This webpage is not available Google Chrome could not load the webpage because what.cd took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.I know it's not the website because other people I know can access them just fine.but there is an even stranger problem. When I do a google search in the URL bar, usually it works fine. but when I include the words "torrent" or "what" in the search, the browser crashes the same way. I can search for anything else and it works fine. But if one of those two words "torrent", or "what" is included, it crashes..
It got to the point where I restored my computer to factory settings. Everything worked until I used Windows Update. However, I just uninstalled them and tried and I couldn't view them this time so now I'm not sure if it really is because of Windows Update. I have yet to install an anti-virus as it was literally just yesterday I did this, so I know it's not an issue with an anti-virus. I cannot view any product images from the sites katespade.com, luckybrand.com, and claires.com. (was trying to do a little Christmas shopping, ha!) I noticed all of them have a zoom + and - feature.
when I go into history to find a recently visited website, I am only getting My Computer's history (jpegs, mp3s etc) and not a list of websites. Of the 5 options available, only 'view by most visited' will give a list of websites, which is useless to me as I can recall those by memory anyway - the other 4 options just give a My Computer history
im using hp pavilion dv6000 with windows 7 its about a year now that i found out i cant open some websites with my laptop but with the same internet access (my home network) with other laptops i can access them as usual i know the problem is with my windows cos i have been using the same windows 7 since 2010 and never had any problem cos i take really good care of it so far iv been testing all the way around to find the problem ( im on ADSL BDW) ( i use ESET smart security and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware)(same problem in firefox or IE). [code]
I have scanned my computer, with 2 different Anti-Trojan applications, both found many infected items and removed it. now everything seems to be cleaned.Thing is, while trying to load google.com or bing.com - both sites wont load - it just hangs. I tried from 3 various browsers.
When I click on a website's "download" button, I immediately get a message box which says " "C:\Users\[my name]\AppData\Local\Temp\[for example]wfxiIAci.exe.part" could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder. Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location".
