im using hp pavilion dv6000 with windows 7 its about a year now that i found out i cant open some websites with my laptop but with the same internet access (my home network) with other laptops i can access them as usual i know the problem is with my windows cos i have been using the same windows 7 since 2010 and never had any problem cos i take really good care of it so far iv been testing all the way around to find the problem ( im on ADSL BDW) ( i use ESET smart security and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware)(same problem in firefox or IE). I have a client that has 9 work stations hardwired and 3 laptops wireless and 1 server hard wired and none of them can connect to 2 specific websites. The workstations are running Windows 7 Pro 64bit, laptops are Windows XP Pro and the server is Windows Server 2008 Standard R2 64bit. They were all able to open the 2 sites last Friday and now they cannot. I can ping and trace rout the IP address of the 2 sites and get no loss but if I ping/trace rout the site name it will not work. I know it�s not the sites that are having the problem because I can open it on my cell phone. But when I hook up my phone to their wireless I cannot open the site. If I put a static DNS IP of their ISP on the computers then I am able to connect to the 2 sites. I called there ISP and they said something must of changed in there network but I check all there settings and nothing has changed. I have never seen this before and am at a loss of what to do.
I noticed that I cannot open several different websites after I installed a windows 7 update. I type in [URL] it trys to open that window but says [URL] etc etc.....while the snapfish windown never opens.
Right now I'm working with Internet explorer. Firefox and Chrome don't open any websites. I changed the internet settings in control panel but it didn't help. Some people tell it's about antivirus programs. I am using NOD32 antivirus?
I cannot open my favorites websites on the maximised size i have tried to open them then maximise and close but they dont reopen full size.This is also happening with media player and other programs .

The laptop connects to a website and then won't complete the download. The hour glass stays visable for many minutes or until the system times out. Everything ran fine until about 2 weeks ago. Another laptop using the same router runs OK.I completely reformatted the hard drive and installed a fresh upload of Windows.The problem was unchanged.I turned off the popup blocker. No improvement.Sometimes after the website is reached a message appears that the site is unavailable.Could there be a problem with a storage area used to receive the website data no longer being available to receive all of the data required.

My laptop suddenly stopped opening hyperlinks. I noticed when googling and got to a white page that said it could not open and had "doubleclick" in the error message. So, I am assuming I somehow have some virus, although I'm not sure how, since it worked fine the day before, and the only sites I was on the day is my work email (secure) and my online school (secure). Didn't even check gmail. I ran spybot and asqaured and didnt find anything.

I posted a while ago saying my laptop would freeze etc, and I suspected it was because my fan needed to be cleaned. I got it checked out and cleaned, and my fan is working perfectly okay now. However, the freezing just happened again. I wasn't doing anything specifically hardcore, I just had my browser open and was listening to the radio, and scrolling through Facebook etc. I had only 3 or 4 tabs open. When I opened a new page to someone's blog, my laptop froze again. The mouse froze, I couldn't do anything, even my Caps Lock wasn't functioning. The music started going insanely slow. I waited for a bit and it stayed like that, so I just switched it off and restarted it. I got my hard drive checked out at the store and they said it's okay and there are no issues with it. It might be my registry because I use CCleaner from time to time.

I changed my password,I had my computer set so I wouldn't have to use it when I logged in. Somehow, I changed a setting , which now requires my password, but can't remember it. So now it's stuck on on the password stage, so I can't get into it to change settings.
having a total nightmare with my laptop, Ive had it for about a year and for some reason whenever I tried to download files/applications it would come up "curupt file", after a very long time trying to look for answers, i decided to save all my files and I used system restore and wiped everything off my laptop and restored the laptop to "factory settings".After doing this I tried to download firefox and then "invalid digital signature" poped up underneath the download, so i ran the file anyway and "curupt file" appeared.I tried downloading google chrome and the same thing happend, its happens to everything now that i try and download seems what I can do, also I was toled to try and download mulwarebytes, but everytime i try and download it the same things happens.
whenever I open an icon in my laptop it automatically shows "preparing to recycle" from discovering items in win7 & delete this short cut message window opens up. After several minutes it would stop. I cannot close this popup window.
