Website Videos Open Super Slow?
May 10, 2012Would a lot of kmz files slow down my pc. Videos are very slow to open now.If not what else might I check. When I go to a website, click on a video it takes forever to load (buffer?)

Videos Very Slow To Open In Windows 7?
May 29, 2011I recently installed Windows 7 on my wife's Samsung laptop (originally supplied with Vista) and generally the upgrade has been a great success. However, one constant complaint I get is that video files attached to emails are now very slow to open, whereas previously they had opened and played with no problem at all.
if so where should I look for an indication that I need to update.

Dec 11, 2012I have a Vantec NexStar TX NST-210S2-BK Hard Drive Enclosure - 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 wit a 120 GB Segate Harddrive in it connected to an Asus K61-IC laptop and my transfer speeds on all my USB Ports are acting super slow.Also, Just recently I've had a balloon tip start popping up in the taskbar telling me that if I hook my USB Devices up to a USB 2.0 Port it will run faster. I'm pretty sure that all my USB Port's are 2.0.

Nov 22, 2012i used to watch a lot of videos and tv shows online, and everything went great, videos loaded good, buffering was great, etc.. now i wanted to watch an episode of a show i missed on tv, so i went on putlocker and when i clicked play, it just kept doing this moving circle that means its loading. it kept doing this until i just gave up. after chrome didn't work i tried firefox, exact same problem. i've tried the same episode on the website movpod and exact same problem on both firefox and chrome, kept trying to load and fail...
now i reinstalled flash flayer, shockwave flash, etc., nothing. i tried same thing with different episodes and different shows , same problem. Internet videos loaded and worked perfectly, both 5 mins ones and 2hrs ones. i remember like a month and a half ago, after i stopped watching online, it kept said " shockwave flash crashed" so i got an answer where i got into somewhere with a list of a lot of things and i disabled something in shockwave flash that fixed the crashing problem but i never tried to watch online videos since then but i don't know how to enable that thing again.

Feb 3, 2013I got some bad malware and removed it with a complete re-install of windows 7. I deleted all partitions and re-installed Windows 7 from that point. I went to the Gateway website and got all of the drivers for the equipment on the computer and it still runs painfully slow. I've run CCcleaner several times, done DSKCHK (because I suspected my hard drive might be faulty) and everything says I have no problems.

Netbook Gone Super Slow For No Apparent Reason - CPU At 100 Percent
Aug 20, 2010In the last few days my netbook for no apparent reason has gone super slow. Chrome takes ages to load webpages when it use to take a second. The computer is very unresponsive. When I check the task manager the processes list is stuffed up. The processes keep jumping up and down the list. Sometimes a process is at the top of list but a second later it's at the bottom of list. As soon as I log in my cpu usage is a 100% when i have no applications running. I'm scanning with avast now and then will scan with Malwarebytes.

Computer Running Super Slow And System Restore Failure?
Dec 23, 2011I have an Acer Aspire timeline computer I bought 2 years ago. This computer advertised great battery life, internal cooling, and all sorts of other cool things....unfortunately, it was all a lie. But enough about that, As of like 3 days ago, I noticed my computer would respond slowly and take forever to complete a shutdown. I thought nothing of it until I decided to scan it usingSuperAntiSpyware. It came back with 40 tracking cookies, which I deleted. Upon rebooting my computer, I noticed it was still running slowly. So I decided a system restore would be niceI tried the first availible restore date. That apparently failed. Then I tried several others, with no success. I kept getting error codes telling me that the system restore failed to extract the file. It said the disk failiure might have been caused by bad sectors....I have no idea what that means. Ive tried multiple restore dates, they all come back with the same message.
I do not have Norton on my computer ( I read this was part of the problem in many other machines with the same restore error, but just to make it clear, that is not part of the problem with my computer). I can only use my computer in safe mode, because the regular boot mode is wayy too slow and laggy. Also I have plenty space on my computer so it couldnt possibly be slowing down because its getting full or something.
Freshly Installed Windows 7 With Super Slow Internet Speeds?
Jan 27, 2011I have had this problem ever since the summer. I would tell you the speeds I'm getting from testmy.net, but the page is still loading. It's been over 30 minutes.Anyway, I have installed the drivers for the motherboard that came with the disc and such, and I still have no success. It is really annoying at this point, basically not being able to use my computer.

Apr 15, 2012First off my power supply went out. It was a 450watt one I ordered and replaced it with a 750watt power supply. After I replaced the power supply, my computer would not boot, When the power supply went out it was in the middle of updating windows. So I formatted the hard drive and did a clean install of windows, reloaded all my drivers and extra programs. At that point my computer was running great.
I decided to uninstall Bing tool bar, and windows live sign in assistant. it prompted my to reboot. When I rebooted the computer, after about 30 minutes it still had not come up to the desktop, I could boot up in safe mode and it would run fine. I did a system restore, no change, I did a start up repair, no change, Tested the memory it came back fine.
At that point and reformatted the hard drive again, I had another hard drive formatted it and put the install CD in and after 8 hours it is still trying to install Windows 7, No errors just really really slow. So I have replaced the power supply, hard drive, and ran a memory test with no errors, done a clean install of windows. Running Windows 7 64 bit, 4 gig of Ram, 2.8 dual core processor, 1 gig video card, 500 gig hard drive.
Super Slow Windows Install On Asrock 870 Extreme 3 With RealSSD C300
Oct 28, 2011I am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with SP 1 original unmodified MS Technet ISO to a blank Crucial RealSSD C300 SSD drive and it is taking hours to do that. The last time I did the install it took almost 4 hours to copy the files, I tried it from a DVD drive and from an external USB-HDD and there was no speed difference. After the installation was done, the SSD was very fast though, no problems at all then.
Now I have to install again and I do not want to wait again a half day just for the files to copy. My Mainboard is a ASROCK 870 Extreme 3 , I use AHCI , AMD AHCI Bios is disabled and AHCI is enabled for SATA3_5 and 6 .

Oct 26, 2009I use frontpage to edit and work on my web site and I can not figure out how to open my web site with windows 7 , I used xp before and in my network places I could setup my web site addy and go threw like setting up a ftp but. After getting a link made for my web site in my network places i could then upload files by draging and droping them to the folders and now front page would open this link to so i could directly open my web site for edditing it. Is there some weres in windows 7 that i can add my web site addy to connect to it for uploading and to use it to log on with frontpage.

I've tried everything I know to do with no progress. I've tried numerous different browsers with no luck, scanning for all bugs.as well as disabling firewalls, cycling my router/modem & making sure all of my drivers are up to date. However, I have just installed a clean activated real copy of windows 7 home premium and when I enter the menus of Media Center. Pictures, Videos the blue "thinking" ring scrolls for 10 seconds and then enters the next menu with the Folder being displayed. In the music section, I have 2 test folders in there and it waits for 8 seconds after you press play a song! Recorded tv and guide work great. Indexing was also completed.

Broadband connection ethernet - Yacom.I installed the Firefox on 30.9.2011 I installed the latest AVG 2012 on 10.10. 2011 I am not sure if it is because of or coincidently, but my internet browsing has been seriously affected. This has been happening for a few (? 3,4 )days, but has worsened since the installation of the new AVG.Where I would previously have put a subject into the browser, and the page appeared with a choice of links, a click on one of them would have immediately taken me to that link.Now, I have to wait for sometimes 25 to 30 seconds to get to the link and even not be allowed to go to the link - it won't open.I have deleted and re-installed my Firefox and my AVG, but this still happens.My security scans are done weekly with each programme but on different days - no two scans are done on the same day. At present, there is nothing untoward evident in my computer, an AVG scan was done last evening - 10.10.2011 only cookies were detected.

The software works normally but when I open a file of this software on my machine (PC1) The software crashes and the opening of the work done on this software is too slow, but if I get a job done but in the same software that is stored on another computer network software is not slow.
I did a test on another computer (PC2) and when I get work on the network (eg in the PC1), there is slow but when I open a saved work on the same computer (PC2) software is too slow. Does anybody know why this happens? I think it should be something related to XP mode, because it happens in 2 PCs

Aug 21, 2012I am running win 7 64 bit but have an error with PCI and Raid controllers, My motherboard is K8V-DX and it seems that ASUS never got round to providung drivers for Win 7. I can see that they did suport Win 2003. Should i risk installing these.
