If I want to look at something else on that page, I have to pull that page down to read it. If I want to go to another site after pulling down my homepage, the other site will fully load. Dec 26, 2012I installed a wireless laser printer. To install...you must connect locally with a USB cable to enter the wireless network's password. This process installed a printer locally and the associated icon was the correct icon. I then set it up wirelessly and when it completed...the icon looked like a fax machine.

Toolbar On Taskbar Should Only Be Showing An Arrow But Is Showing Icon?
May 18, 2012I have a toolbar on my taskbar titled "Programs". It has about eight folders in it. I made another toolbar, and placed it directly adjacent to the Programs toolbar, to obscure the eight folders and force it to be a dropdown menu.Trouble is, as soon as I lock my taskbar, right next to the arrow that displays the eight items of my Programs toolbar in menu-form, one of the eight items is showing up as an icon, as if the other toolbar isn't close enough to the Programs toolbar in order to completely obscure the eight items.

Apr 29, 2011I have a printer icon in "Printers and Devices" that I can't get rid of and I believe that it is causing conflicts with my being able to use my printer correctly, i.e., I have downloaded drivers for my printer but when troubleshoot the correct printer icon, the results show that there is no printer driver installed for my printer. The offending icon is the "HP Universal Printing PCL 5" icon.(Please see the screenshot in the attachment.) I have tried the "Remove Device" option many times, but the icon reappears. Also, frequently, when I click on the IE icon, the page that comes up is blank and I have to go into Tools/Internet Options to get my home page back. I don't know if these problems are related, but I wanted to mention them both in case they are.

Feb 28, 2011My Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit OS got messed up so I restored the original image I made from DriveImage XML successfully. Now when my PC boots, I get the mobo splash screen and then just a cursor. When I put my Win 7 install disk in I can "press any key" to boot from it and the DVD goes right to where I can repair my installation. It sees my partition and when I use the cmd prompt using diskpart, I can see that the win 7 volume is c:, active, and all my files are in the right spot. However when I look at the volume numbers, my c: is volume 2 and my DVD drives are volumes 1 & 2. So how do I change my c: drive to volume 0? I've read that this is how you set the c: to boot properly.
The Win 7 drive is a WD 500gb IDE. When I put this drive into any other PC, it does the same thing. Mobo splash or POST screen then just a cursor. I can't enter Safe Mode or anything except to put a disc in the DVD drive and boot from it. I tried fiddling with my mobo settings and they are normal. If I take my Win 7 drive out and put it as a slave or as a USB external drive, I can see everything and do whatever with the files.

Jan 8, 2013My Old HDD crashed, it had windows 7 x64 on a D: logical drive with an extended partition. My old HDD also had two other primary partitions one of which probably had some system/boot files etc,. I do not have a backup of these two primary partitions, however, I do have a paragon backup of my logical drive D: extended partition. I got me a new HDD, created a new NTFS primary partition with a drive letter C:. I then restoed the paragon backup of my windows D: drive on to this new primary C: partition. Now, I am not able to boot windows 7. Seems like I need to create a new system partition with boot files to be able to boot my Win 7.
