View 2 RepliesI have an ergo AS2 all-in-one PC with built in Touchscreen Display on WIndows 7. All drivers are installed, and the touch screen is working, however the Mouse Pointer on screen is bugging the hell out of me.I have USB mouse plugged in as well, and when using the USB mouse, i get the default white arrow, but as soon as I use finger on the Touchscreen the Mouse pointer changes to a small diamond. When I take my finger of the screen, the mouse pointer dissappears alltogether (until the next time i touch or move the mouse)I want the touchscreen Mouse pointer to stay the same as the normal white arrow. I have tried all the options under Mouse settings and Pen and Touch, but none work.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have installed WIndows7 in my Laptop dell xps 1330 about one and half months ago. It was running perfect and was not a trial version for one month.
However, still I can update my windows and so forth as original. The fact was, I installed some programmes and softwares which I used before, in Windows Vista! Now-a-days, I experience having problem with the touch pad, CD Rom hardware and Volume...
1. touch pad stucks, pointer doesn't move sometimes.
2. CD Rom start functioning automatically without having a CD inside.. sounds like CD is ejecting from rom.
3. volume button starts increasing automatically and sometimes mutes !
what I guess, it's a virus. I installed a scroll pad driver, I thought the problem was due to the driver. After uninstalling that driver, the touch pad was functioning normally (without the scroll functioning though) and the error was removed. But after two days, I see the same problem again..
My netbook, running windows 7 starter, no longer allows me to right click. Not in programs, not in folders, not on the desktop. I was using a USB mouse (which I tested on another mechine, the right click works fine there, so its not the mouse). After this problem started I tried a second usb mouse and the right-click on the built-in touch pad mouse. None of them worked. I have tried rebooting, I tried updating the drivers on my USB mouse. I havn't tried a system restor, hoping someone might know a fix that avoids that route.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been having the problem of mouse/touch pad being able to move but somehow, i just can't click on anything with my laptop a few days ago. It just feels like everything is in the "not responding" state when using the mouse and also the touch pad but then everything seems just fine when I use my keyboard to operate them. I've tried formatting my laptop myself and also sent it to a shop to do it, but nothing has changed And also, ever since this problem occur, my laptop seems to be slowing down no matter is shutting it down or running a program.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI understand with the correct specs, drivers, vid card (and monitor?) that Windows 7 PCs can have touch screen capability.
The HP TouchSmart IQ545a already has that, with Vista.
If I am in the markert for a new PC, and WANT at least the ability to have a Windows 7 Upgrade voucher for future use AND want touchscreen capability, what do I specifically look for spec-wise?
In other words, are there any presently available PCS apart from the HP, that CAN have the touchscreen capabilty when on Windows 7. And is the HP TouchSmart IQ545a upgradable to Windows 7, anyone know, that would then retain touchscreen capability post-upgrade?
I've heard that the desktop computer & the lap top computers will have a setting on the computer so you can touch what your doing. Well I do have to ponder a question to you guys that are testing Windows Seven out be for the release date comes.
My question's:Will the screen break if you use the touch screen on a lap top? Do I need to get a specially monitor for the touch screen that will be add to Windows Seven? If I do need a specially touch screen, will Windows Seven come up with one that does expect Windows Seven software. An if I wanted to get a touch screen how wood I know if it is a touch screen other then a regular monitor, wood it say it is a touch screen ect.
I notice that 7 will have touch screen capability, I'd appreciate any information on setting up, or general data on such. What I've seen so far is all a little vague.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI thought I would give windows 7 a go about a week ago on my Home system and loved it so much I've decided to install on my "carpc" that's fitted in my Toyota Hilux
The install seemed to go well just like it did on my Home system, with even the touch screen being found, only problem I could not get it to Calibrate very precise.
One thing I noticed right away was Windows 7 seems to have a built in Touch Screen interface that only shows the options to when it knows a Touch screen is present, for example you can scroll about in word docs, or internet explorer just by placing your finger anywhere on the screen rather than the little bar on the right you normally have to use which can be hard on a 7" touch screen.
There is a better on screen keyboard that pops out when needed if using the touch screen, also the cursor changes to a small dot rather than a mouse cursor, but changes back as soon as you move the mouse. I'm sure there are other features I not had chance to find yet.
My only problem now is due to me not being able to calibrate the screen as good as normal I decided to install the Software/drivers from the screen manufacture, I used the Vista version which worked well, and now the screen is calibrated perfectly.
The problem is now windows 7 has taken away all the touch screen options in the control panel, plus all the above features I said no longer happen
Any idea how I can get them back while still maintaining my manufactures driver/software?
Just bought the Samsung All in One PC and the Touch Screen stopped working:[URL]This is new territory for me although I know my way around Windows.how to get the Touch Screen back on?

View 3 Replies View RelatedYou know, I've been well impressed over this last week of running Windows 7 that I've treated myself to a new large computer desk, a new case (Antec Skeleton) and a nice set of Creative speakers. Now it suddenly occured to me that Microsoft was bragging recently about the touchscreen abilities of Windows 7, and now I'm thinking "where can I get a touchscreen Monitor from, here in the UK?". Hey, I'm a geek!!
Looked on feebay, but they are limited as to what's on offer.
Any suggestions?

A member of my family has windows 7 home premium, and would like to get a touch screen monitor for their pc, so their son can use the pc by touching the screen, as he does at his school. They have seen one, and I was wondering if they can just buy the monitor and plug it in, or do they need to buy anything extra? Is it easy to configure the desktop to use touchscreen?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy HP p6710f came with PDF Complete which lets you save a single page of a PDF as its own PDF file. This option comes up when you right click on a PDF and choose Print & then the printer, which is PDF Complete. However I did not know this was a trial program & mine just ran out. Every month I generate a PDF with several pages, but each page is for a different person. I found it convenient to print or save each persons page separately in order to email to them.
I need a replacement for PDF Complete & was hoping to find something which has the same functions. I have seem some free programs for creating PDF files but am unable to figure out if they can save individual pages as new PDFs.
