Google Chrome has been blocked by my computer, it brings up this message "This may be because your firewall or antivirus software wrongly thinks Google Chrome is an intruder on your computer and is blocking it from connecting to the Internet.
Try adding Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again." I have tried what it said and I do not have an anti virus program but it still will not allow it to run
I upgraded to windows 7, now I can not access an IP address that I had accessed before. It's actually a camera system at my house that I used to be able to access online. It now says that it will not let me access it because it cn not verify the security certificate
Just want to ask if someone can help me sign in to skype. The following message always appears "Cant open skype. you are already signed in in this computer. Please sign out and try again." I already uninstall and installed new skype and the same message recurs.
I have a Sony Vaio with Windows Seven OS but I keep having issues with drivers being blocked ...how do I unblock the drivers or make it so that this does not keep happening?
After becoming unable to download identified updates in Windows Update, and also being unable to search for new updates, I did a detailed scan with Microsoft Security Essentials which identified and removed some malware (Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.IZ).
Since Windows Update still wouldn't work I restored my settings from last Friday with no improvement. Using Fix problems with Windows Update gets stuck on Fixing problem.
I then tried to do a reinstall as an update, but the installer was unable to find any updates (or rather it was forever* trying to locate any).
On a tip from a friend I looked in the hosts file but it was unaltered. *Forever is a relative term but in this case it's 90+ minutes.
i have bought a laptop computer with win 7, i can't access some websites like face book, and so on, i mean they are all filtered. how can i get free filter breaker like vpn to unblock such webs.
I have two windows 7 computers networked and would like to run a program, which is installed on computer 2, on computer 1 but don't really want to install it on computer 1. Is there a way of doing this through the network?
I bought, installed, and activated Windows 7 (and Office 2007) a few weeks ago, and just two weeks later my laptop broke down so that I will have to buy a new one. My question is this: Will I be able to install, and (most importantly) activate Windows 7 on the new laptop? What would I have to do?
The issue here is all my programs would freeze and I was like wth is going on? So after it happened a couple of times, I finally figured out what was going on. The system was using cpu power ranging from 20 to 50 percent and my ram was using roughly 20 to 32 percent. The weird thing about this is my computer cpu usually is around 2-5 percent and ram is around 5-12 percent when doing normal day activities.I have a vortex 120 gb and I have it updated to the latest software. My hypothesis is that there is a system defragging working in the background because I see my hard drive space going up and down. It'll go down 20gb and go back up. Sometimes goes down a lot sometimes not that much.I have three programs and I've tried closing all three.
Bitdefender-no auto defrag Iobit advance system care- I turned auto defrag off but even it the settings it's already checkmark not to defrag ssd tuneuputilites- turned off auto defrag also and same thing as earlier, there's already a checkmark to not defrag ssd edit(forgot to mention that I turned system auto defrag off also)I ran antivirus scan and malware scan already with no luck.So here's where the big mystery comes into play. Even though there is cpu usage and ram usage when I go to windows task manager, I can't find anything that shows it's using ram and cpu even though it is.Very annoying with everything freezing. Even if I restart it still continues.

I bought Microsoft Outlook 2007 (Program on CD, unlimited Licenses) 2 years a go, and have installed it on my windows XP. However I recently bought a new Windows 7 Computer and want to install Outlook but I lost the CD, so is there any way that I can transfer the program/ license from my old computer onto the new one.
I can't find how to start up a program automatically when the computer comes on. It was easy under Win xp but I can't find the command. When I go to msconfig I can see the programs that are loaded but don't see how to list a program to be started.
recently my pc has been delaying on opening everything, when i open a program like chrome it takes about 5 minutes or so for it to open then when i try open a new tab, it takes about the same time.when i unlock my pc or when i have to press yes or no to open that program, the sound played for it like 2- 5 minutes later. when i eventually open up a game the audio is fine but when trying to watch a Internet video sometime i dont even hear audio until about 5 minutes after the video has started?
I am upgrading my vista 32 install to Win 7. During the setup, the compatibilty report originally told me that Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 and Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 are preventing the upgrade.
I uninstalled Trend Micro 2009, as it's the only program I have on my computer and I've deleted all (I believe) references to it, yet the upgrade won't continue, because Trend Micro 2008 is preventing it.
Is there a reference somewhere that I could check?
I had a ZT Systems I-7 920 computer that was stolen when my house was robbed. It came with a Windows 7 disk that says it can only be used with the ZT Systems computer (that was stolen). I am now building a new computer and I am wondering if I can use the Windows 7 disk from the ZT systems computer in my new computer. I paid for Windows 7 when I bought the ZT systems computer and I do not feel that I should have to buy it again.
I do currency trading from my home, and need to have a full screen dedicated to each currency I trade, each screen/currency running off the same PC at the same time. I know I can attach multiple monitors to my Windows 7 PC, but am not sure how to have the same program running simultaneously on 3 different monitors (that's the only way to get the 3 currencies to show as a full screen and have the ability to submit trade tickets independently based on respective currency). Seems as though the same image will appear on each monitor. Is this at all possible, or will I have to buy 2 additional PCs to put Monitors 2 and 3 on to accomplish this?
When i try to open a application from desk top it does not open , the mouse cursor changes as if the application is trying to load the app but never loads and i am not able to perform any other function and i have to restart which does not change anything after the restart.
