TI PCIxx12 Integrated Flashmedia Controller For Win7 64
Nov 27, 2009
I am now using sony vaio VGN-CR35S. I have installed Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have almost all drivers installed through window update, but there is TI PCIxx12 integrated flashmedia controller still missing.
I have tried to install the driver downloaded from sony (which could be installed in Win 7 HP 32 bit no problem, I had tried before). It failed in Win 7 HP 64 bit. There is a message something like "the driver is for Vista only".
I want to install the Windows 7 RC, but upon scanning my system everything was compatible except this: "Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Integrated FlashMedia Controller - Not Compatible". How can I fix this in a Gateway laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GHZ, 2GB Ram?
OK, I had the issue that several people have had with windows hanging at the "Starting Windows" Screen. I discovered that disabling the USB 2.0 Controller in BIOS allowed me to finish the install, and boot into windows normally. I re-enabled the controller and booting into windows hangs at the same place as before...turning it back off fixed it again.
My problem is that my only disk drive is a USB external drive, and I will probably be doing some file transfers using USB...I need the speed. Installing windows took a LONG time at USB 1.1.
Flashing to new BIOS and running windows update will be tried today to see if that will solve the issue but I wanted to post to see if anyone had some ideas that I hadn't thought of.
I am having problems finding a driver for the pci simple communications controller. I have a intel dg33tl motherboard. I just completed a clean install of windows 7 64 home premium over my old vista 32. I have reinstalled the drivers from disc but some failed. I have also went to intel web site but do not know which drivers I need.
I have purchased and downloaded both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows7 Professional (no CDs or media here only download version)
I sucessfully upgraded from Vista 32 to Windows 7 32
Then I upgraded my hard disk (140Gb 500GB) and RAM (3GB to to 4GB)
Now I would like to go from Windows 7 32bit to 64bit
When I try and run the Windows 7-P-retail-en-us.x64.exe file it upacks the box then stops with this error:"We are unable to create or save files in the folder in which this application was downloaded. Please check the folder properties to make sure that you have security permission on the folder to write flies and that that folder is not read only".
I am the System Admin and I have full rights, and have moved the exe and the setup box files to My Documentsand I have modified the directory properties/attributes but I still get the same error over and over.
I searched the posts and some people stated one needs a clean install others say you can upgrade from any version so I am trying the upgrade here especially since the upgrade from Vista 32 to Windows 7 32 was smooth and did require all the extra work of a reinstall.
I purchased the Win 7 Pro Upgrade 32bit via digitalriver, but I've been doing some reseach and probably should have selected the 64bit version.
- Any ideas how I can get the 64bit version?
- For those who ordered the 32bit back-up disc kit for the extra $15 and have received it, does it come with both 32bit & 64bit?
- I've already installed and activated the 32bit version, but when I go to install the 64bit version, will I need to / is there a way to deactivate my initial 32bit install or will this not matter?
I'm currently running 32-bit Windows 7 (Professional, full version) on my laptop, and want to use this machine to create a bootable USB drive with 64-bit Windows 7 (also Professional, full version). I tried going through the steps that are available on various tutorials online, but I'm always tripped up while attempting to use bootsect to make the drive bootable; basically I get an error saying that I need to be using a 64-bit OS.
I don't have convenient access to a computer with 64-bit Windows Vista/7 (I work at an academic institution where all pubic computers have XP or Linux), so I'm wondering if there's any way to get around this and create a bootable USB for 64-bit Windows 7 via a 32-bit OS.
I've got a newish HP notebook and I frequently use skype for voice and video chatting with friends and family; however, It recently has stopped working for no apparent reason. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I did notice that the webcam stopped working after I updated skype recently. The microphone also now works intermittently.. If I initiate a call with skype, my microphone will not work, but if I make a test call to the echo test service it works, and then works subsequently on my call afterwards. If I go to initiate any type of video exchange, a picture of youcam displays as my webcam image asking to start my webcam as seen here in this picture from my skype webcam settings This also shows when trying to use my webcam on chatroulette, omegle, etc. Here, when I start the youcam program itself I get this error message If I go to tools and settings in the youcam program (which I can only access when I start the program via skype?) I click the dropdown menu to select my webcam device but no options show.
Here is a picture of my device manager, which suddenly displays no evidence of the hardware, even after scanning for hardware changes. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with someone from HP support and got no where. They tried to remote connect to my computer using some sort of HP support software instead of windows remote connect. They could never connect and told me I need to backup everything on my computer and format it!? Does this sound normal? I said never mind and hung up, I figure there has to be an easier way to deal with this. Perhaps if I cannot find a solution here I will take that step but figured I would try here first.

My integrated camera on my lenovo laptop stopped working last night. It doesn't do anything when I try to connect to it on Skype etc.it just has a grey screen. I tried reinstalling the drivers but that didn't work and now I don't know what to do.
Will the intel HD graphics in the Celeron G555 be enough to run games that are 10 or more years old? The highest spec games I want to play on it is like warcraft 3 and dreamfall. I want to play them at max settings and I know integrated graphics is bad for gaming but its only playing old games.
Edit: this is a new build that I'm selecting components for so I can't just install them and see if it works.
I bought Dell Inspiron 1564 n series (without OS) and put Windows 7 Ultimate 32 in it.OS installed fine but integrated graphics isn't recognized.I went to Dell, downloaded chipset drivers, but on intel graphics drivers I get answer "This computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software."Mind you first I have tried 64 bit Windows 7 enterprise version but with same result.I thought it's 64bit thing so I went to 32bit.I think I tried it al> Platform : Intel Calpella> Mainboard : Dell 0JY92C> Chipset : Intel HM55> Processor : Intel Core i5 450M @ 2400MHz> Physical Memory : 3072MB> Video Card : Standard VGA Graphics Adapter> Hard Disk : Seagate ST9320325AS ATA Device (320GB)> DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GT32N> Monitor Type : 1K0R2156WH2 - 15 inches> Network Card : Broadcom BCM4310 USB Controller> Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8101 PCIe Fast Ethernet Adapter> Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7600 (32-bit)> DirectX : Version 11.00
SAPPHIRE 100323L Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card?I don't know much about computers internally. I've been researching and unfortunately could not find any of the answers I've been looking for. I currently have the Acer Aspire X1420G running an AMD Athlon II X4 645 Processor 3.10 GHZ and 4GB RAM.. the power supply is 220W. its very weak from what i have read. So the question is, would i be able to upgrade to a SAPPHIRE 100323L Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100323L Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card Without having to swap out the PSU? I'm on a budget hence the 450$ computer, so the PSU I'm trying to avoid buying, but I will if i have to. Because if I'm going to be spending the money to upgrade my performance, I want to do it right.
is there a chance or a way that a integrated laptop be a dedicated? my laptop has an intel HD 3000,and in my lappy sticker it says "1760 MB dynamic video memory" what does it mean?is there a way to use all of 1760MB for VRAM?like boosting it to for example 1gb of vram, sorry i dont have knowlegde about intel family T_T.
Today i installed Windows 7 Ultimate and all worked good with drivers exept sound, have old drivers on CD but this OS doesnt support that old drivers...checked this thread (have same problem) soundmax integrated driver and tryed to install that and same still problem

I have a little trouble with my integrated webcam, I have a laptop ASUS X64jv with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. My webcam does not work. I tried to launch LifeFrame3 but it cannot open and a window appear and it is written on it: "The camera is Used by Another program" But which program?
I have an HP desktop computer running Windows Seven. I bought a new graphics card that comes with software. Can somebody walk me through step by step on how to disable the integrated graphics and installing a PCI one.
My HP ProBook 4730s contains switchable graphics. One of which, is an ATI Radeon HD 7470M, and the other is a generic Intel HD Family. Now, I can assure you that when I switch between cards, they switch properly, and are in the correct order. I have checked with many different methods. Now to the actual issue. In low and medium end games, my Intel out preforms my ATI my miles. For example, in Trackmania United Forever, on my ATI, medium settings, 720p, no AA = 20fps. Intel, max settings, 900p (native res), 4x AA = 60fps.However, if I play Mirror's Edge, these results are inverted, thus proving that the ATI is more powerful.
What I can only conclude is that the ATI is attempting to conserve power by limiting it's performance in low end games. Problem is, I have configured it for max performance in every setting I can find. I just don't get it.
Have an older machine with an Intel Integrated 810e chipset. I realize this is an older model, but was wondering if there's any kind of fix to run Windows 7 Home Premium on it?
On Windows 7 (and XP) when the soundmax driver is loaded it sends the audio to the USB, which works and sound great BUT I also want the audio to be sent to the miniature stereo (3.5mm) output at the same time. The driver stop the miniature stereo output. How can I have the soundmax driver loaded AND get audio sent to the miniture stereo (3.5mm) output?
I am not able to find suitable driver for display Adapter Intel 915 GML/Mobile Express for Windows 7. The ones that I see available are for Windows XP. I tried to installed the ones available and my display went black,so i had to start in VGA safe mode to get back the display. Now my default display is VGA since I am not able to find the drivers for my adapter. I also used the original Toshiba M45 recovery cd(where drivers are) and it tells me , wrong operating system since my recovery cd is for Windows Xp instead of Windows 7.
I am running Windows 7 on my old laptop (HP DV 4305US, Intel Celeron with 1.25 GB RAM). Everything is great besides the sound. The integrated sound card has installed, updated automatically, everything looks normal but the computer refuses to give a sound.
I like Windows 7. It is fast even with older machines.
Hope someone can fix the soundMAX issue. Unfortunately, HP does not have a vista driver or so because the DV 4305US was designed for XP.
I found this site while browsing on my iPod. Now why would I have to use my iPod when I have a beautiful new computer sitting in front of me? Well as the title says. I have no controllers, ergo, no Internet.I bought it second hand, absolutely nothing wrong with it, I think he just might of went too far when he wiped it before giving it to me.So, I came here hoping you guys could rescue me... I'm looking for the driver(s) I need, and I'm also wondering how I can manage to download them to my com if it's not online. I have;System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., LtdSystem Model: H55M-S2OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (6.1 build 7600)Processor: Intel Core i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07ghz (4 CPUs)BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PGg that's all good, I read it all of my DxDiag.
My Toshiba Satillite L655-s5153 Laptop doesn't reconize the ethernet port when I plug in my wireless router to the ehternet port. How can this be fixed? I have no internet connection.
i have an Lenovo g470 laptop with windows 7 Home Basic, Service pack 1, 64 bits and the webcam wont work. when i start up cyberlink youcam, it says: "Warning, No webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure that it is turned on". It worked when i first got my computer for a few months, then it stopped.
My webcam had been working fine since I got my laptop last year and just recently stopped working about a month ago. The device manager says that it's working fine and all drivers are up to date. But whenever I open Dell Webcam Central it doesn't recognize the webcam at all and asks me to plug in a supported device.
I'm running Windows 7 on an Emachines t2862, which has an Intel Integrated Chipset (845g, "Itel Extreme Graphic", specifically).
I've tried installing the XP drivers using the installation as well as the tutorial floating around the forums for installing XP graphic drivers. Both caused Windows to crash shortly after booting. I had plenty of time to open a few programs, but about 45 seconds after booting, Windows simply freezes (mouse included).
I had to boot into safemode and roll the driver back to the standard VGA driver to fix it.
Does anyone happen to know where I can locate the driver for a Compaq NX 6110 Laptop compatible with Windows 7? The XP Driver is absolutely terrible and won't allow to change resolution. It uses an Intel 915GM Graphics Controller.
