Integrated Graphics Isn't Recognized?

I bought Dell Inspiron 1564 n series (without OS) and put Windows 7 Ultimate 32 in it.OS installed fine but integrated graphics isn't recognized.I went to Dell, downloaded chipset drivers, but on intel graphics drivers I get answer "This computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software."Mind you first I have tried 64 bit Windows 7 enterprise version but with same result.I thought it's 64bit thing so I went to 32bit.I think I tried it al> Platform : Intel Calpella> Mainboard : Dell 0JY92C> Chipset : Intel HM55> Processor : Intel Core i5 450M @ 2400MHz> Physical Memory : 3072MB> Video Card : Standard VGA Graphics Adapter> Hard Disk : Seagate ST9320325AS ATA Device (320GB)> DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GT32N> Monitor Type : 1K0R2156WH2 - 15 inches> Network Card : Broadcom BCM4310 USB Controller> Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8101 PCIe Fast Ethernet Adapter> Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7600 (32-bit)> DirectX : Version 11.00

Will the intel HD graphics in the Celeron G555 be enough to run games that are 10 or more years old? The highest spec games I want to play on it is like warcraft 3 and dreamfall. I want to play them at max settings and I know integrated graphics is bad for gaming but its only playing old games.
Edit: this is a new build that I'm selecting components for so I can't just install them and see if it works.

My HP ProBook 4730s contains switchable graphics. One of which, is an ATI Radeon HD 7470M, and the other is a generic Intel HD Family. Now, I can assure you that when I switch between cards, they switch properly, and are in the correct order. I have checked with many different methods. Now to the actual issue. In low and medium end games, my Intel out preforms my ATI my miles. For example, in Trackmania United Forever, on my ATI, medium settings, 720p, no AA = 20fps. Intel, max settings, 900p (native res), 4x AA = 60fps.However, if I play Mirror's Edge, these results are inverted, thus proving that the ATI is more powerful.
What I can only conclude is that the ATI is attempting to conserve power by limiting it's performance in low end games. Problem is, I have configured it for max performance in every setting I can find. I just don't get it.

I am running a first gen Alienware M11x netbook:
Processor: SU7300
Ram: 4 GB
Graphics: integrated and GT 335m
OS: Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
Last night, for the first time since I performed a driver update for the graphics card, I switched to integrated graphics to watch a video (mp4) while I had it unplugged. Upon running the video I got the BSOD with the information below:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 4105
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 3b
BCP1: 00000000C0000005
BCP2: FFFFF8800410EDBC
BCP3: FFFFF88008CD2CF0
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1
Files that describe the problem:
C:WindowsMinidump123111-18673-01.dmp
C:UsersSeanAppDataLocalTempWER-40295-0.sysdata.xml
I tried it again to make sure it would still happen (it did, not a great idea) and tried with the discrete card active which let it run. I also noticed the laptop having some minor issues in other places as well.

I have a evga motherboard with an integrated nvidia 8200 graphics card. I am having issues with the latest nvidia 8 series drivers (my monitor will go blank randomly for a second or two).
Should I have installed the nforce series drivers (the driver package that runs the entire motherboard) that are months older because my graphics are integrated or should I stick with the latest 8 series drivers?

I have recently had some video issues with my HP Probook 6550b.
Basically, I have recently had the heat sink, motherboard and monitor all replaced. My ongoing issue is that now Windows does now not recognize my on board ATI graphics card. If I install the drivers from the ATI website it does not acknowledge that the adaptor exists at all. Conversely, under Device Manager, no display adaptor is listed.
I have also installed the 64 bit BIOS update and graphics drivers from the HP website with no success. Interestingly, If I attach an external monitor, reboot and enter BIOS. I can close the lid, and the external VGA monitor works. However, when I then log into Windows and then try to use the secondary monitor, it does not work.
HP have informed me that as the external VGA out does work, it is not a hardware problem with the graphics adaptor. How do I go about getting this issue resolved? Currently, all video is jittery and the brightness is sub-standard.

I have got a problem which has occurred just few days ago. My TV could not and still cannot be recognised by my graphics card, meanwhile my monitor is working properly. I always use TV for watching movies, videos and whenever I am too lazy to get off my bed.
Recently I have changed my graphics card from nVidia GeForce GT 320. The new card's drivers may not be working properly and every time I turn on my PC, OS crashes on start up. Blue screen appears, showing that physical memory is being dumped. Then restarts. I select "Start Windows Normally" option. After everything loads, I get a message on my desktop saying error related to OpenCL.dll.
So one day I turn on my PC, go through all the rough start up and try to watch video through my TV and it is not recognised. I tried to repair it by checking all connections, AMD Catalyst Control Centre and "Screen Resolution" option on desktop (right click).
After my TV wasn't working with my PC, I left it alone. I was looking for solution online but nothing useful. Next day I came back from work and I tested it. It surprisingly worked and was showing all as before. The day after that it didn't work again.
Here are some answers to questions you might want to ask:My TV is 42" Philips Smart LED Easy 3D 4300 series (Full 1080p). My monitor is simple 24" AOC screen (Full 1080p) and it is connected through VGA cable. My graphics card is MSI Radeon R7770 1GB with MSI Afterburner. I have got TV connected from HDMI in my PC's graphics card to TV's 3rd HDMI plug. I have checked every connection and nothing has been touched since I was using it as usual. TV has been updated with latest firmware. So has the graphics card.

I have a Zotac 570 gtx connected via HDMI cable to my Asus VE258 LED monitor.I've had this video card and monitor setup working before with the exact cable, card and monitor.Something changed in my system where the monitor is no longer recognized for what it is. When i go into my Nvidia control panel under change resolution 1.Digital Display, 2. DVI-PC Display - Resolution 1080p 59 Hz. There is no DVI cable plugged into the computer and the monitor is set on HDMI input. When i go to my Audio playback devices, the HDMI connection does not show up at all, even as disabled or disconnected. When i go to play a game (Diablo 3, Skyrim, Farcry2) The game either doesn't open (skyrim) giving me the error that resolution is not recognized (but then does not give me any resolutions to choose from in the options menu) or will play (Diablo 3) but is stuck on extremely low resolutions with only 2 options.
Here's what i've done. Contacted Zotac and had them send me the most recent drivers for the video card. Uninstalled originals and re-installed the new ones. Contacted Asus (they say its not the monitor as long as its set on HDMI input) I am unable to find a driver that will make my computer (Windows 7) recognize the monitor for what it is. Zotac failed after their attempt with the driver and told me to RMA the card. So i did... i waited a month.

i have heard a lot of my friends saying that they are unable to play high resolution and high definition games on their pc and told that they are on a low budget to buy a graphics card.here is a solution for that:there is a software named 3-d analyzer available in the internet which acts as a virtual graphics card for playing games. you can enter the graphic card needed from the 4 available graphic cards available and then you can get the attributes of that graphic card..if fine tuned, you can play games at the range of a 128mb ram virutal graphic card on your non graphic card pc. note:graphic intensive games, that requires atleast 512mb of graphics memory can't be played through 3d analyzer if you don't have a graphic card, but you can try running it if you have a 256/128 mb card. steps for using the 3-d analyzer software, *first download the file from here, *then extract that software and open the software, *then, select the exe file of the game that you want to run, *choose the select option, *then you can choose the attributes the options you require to play the game,*the attributes may be pixel shader or disable rendering in the game or emulation or some other options specified, *then, enter the device id and the vendor id for the graphics card you need from the available graphics card on the right.*i would suggest the ati radeon 9800pro to run most of the games like fifa 08/09 or prince of persia two thrones/sands of time, *then choose the run option and then i assure that the game would run for you at a decent/playable speed. note:1.if it shows any error that a file is not found pls reinstall the software.2.if the screen turns black/blank then play with the options in the s/w, by trial and error method,if fortunate, may be,you'll be able to run your favorite game.3.if pixel shader/shader version x.x not found, then select the appropriate shader model and run the game. all the best..happy gaming..if any queries post it below.how to: use 3d analyzer video at Internet

I've got a newish HP notebook and I frequently use skype for voice and video chatting with friends and family; however, It recently has stopped working for no apparent reason. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I did notice that the webcam stopped working after I updated skype recently. The microphone also now works intermittently.. If I initiate a call with skype, my microphone will not work, but if I make a test call to the echo test service it works, and then works subsequently on my call afterwards. If I go to initiate any type of video exchange, a picture of youcam displays as my webcam image asking to start my webcam as seen here in this picture from my skype webcam settings This also shows when trying to use my webcam on chatroulette, omegle, etc. Here, when I start the youcam program itself I get this error message If I go to tools and settings in the youcam program (which I can only access when I start the program via skype?) I click the dropdown menu to select my webcam device but no options show.
Here is a picture of my device manager, which suddenly displays no evidence of the hardware, even after scanning for hardware changes. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with someone from HP support and got no where. They tried to remote connect to my computer using some sort of HP support software instead of windows remote connect. They could never connect and told me I need to backup everything on my computer and format it!? Does this sound normal? I said never mind and hung up, I figure there has to be an easier way to deal with this. Perhaps if I cannot find a solution here I will take that step but figured I would try here first.
My laptop is a HP dv7-6b55dx

SAPPHIRE 100323L Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card?I don't know much about computers internally. I've been researching and unfortunately could not find any of the answers I've been looking for. I currently have the Acer Aspire X1420G running an AMD Athlon II X4 645 Processor 3.10 GHZ and 4GB RAM.. the power supply is 220W. its very weak from what i have read. So the question is, would i be able to upgrade to a SAPPHIRE 100323L Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100323L Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card Without having to swap out the PSU? I'm on a budget hence the 450$ computer, so the PSU I'm trying to avoid buying, but I will if i have to. Because if I'm going to be spending the money to upgrade my performance, I want to do it right.

I am not able to find suitable driver for display Adapter Intel 915 GML/Mobile Express for Windows 7. The ones that I see available are for Windows XP. I tried to installed the ones available and my display went black,so i had to start in VGA safe mode to get back the display. Now my default display is VGA since I am not able to find the drivers for my adapter. I also used the original Toshiba M45 recovery cd(where drivers are) and it tells me , wrong operating system since my recovery cd is for Windows Xp instead of Windows 7.

I am running Windows 7 on my old laptop (HP DV 4305US, Intel Celeron with 1.25 GB RAM). Everything is great besides the sound. The integrated sound card has installed, updated automatically, everything looks normal but the computer refuses to give a sound.
I like Windows 7. It is fast even with older machines.
Hope someone can fix the soundMAX issue. Unfortunately, HP does not have a vista driver or so because the DV 4305US was designed for XP.

I'm running Windows 7 on an Emachines t2862, which has an Intel Integrated Chipset (845g, "Itel Extreme Graphic", specifically).
I've tried installing the XP drivers using the installation as well as the tutorial floating around the forums for installing XP graphic drivers. Both caused Windows to crash shortly after booting. I had plenty of time to open a few programs, but about 45 seconds after booting, Windows simply freezes (mouse included).
I had to boot into safemode and roll the driver back to the standard VGA driver to fix it.
Does anybody have any tips?
