Samsung BlackJack II Drivers Will Not Install Properly
Dec 26, 2009
Alright so, I just got a new computer yesterday and it just so happened to have Windows 7 64-Bit on it. I am a new user, that in a few days has switched from XP to 7. I own a Samsung BlackJack II, which I have done countless modifications to, and now, I cannot seem to sync it up, let alone, connect it to my computer. When I plug it in, via USB.
It worked the first time, synced it and everything with Windows Mobile Device Center, but then when I unplugged and replugged it in, driver's were corrupt(obviously), and tried uninstalling it all, and then reinstalling them all, drivers and WMDC, and I get a little notification that informs me that the drivers were unsuccessfully installed.
Which is no longer making any sense to me... At all! lol, so I was wandering could you guys help me out here? I'm new to Windows 7 and I hope that this Community, gives me a lot of insight, and information to get back on my feet.
I was originally having problems with Realtek HD Audio Manager properly operating my front panel audio jacks, so I attempted to update my audio drivers using the ones found on Realtek's website (2.70). After restarting, my computer has failed to load and locate the new drivers and in the task bar, the usual volume icon has a red and white X; mouse-overing brings up the message "No speakers or headphones are plugged in" (despite my speakers being plugged into the proper lime analog jack on my motherboard). Opening the Sound window from my control panel shows that there is only one option under playback devices: AMD HDMI Output, which it shows as not plugged in.
There is no analog speaker present, even with both "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" checked by right clicking on the window. Within my device manager, under the 'Sound, video and game controllers' heading, there is only the AMD High Definition Audio Device. Under the 'System devices' heading, the only relevant devices are two High Definition Audio Controllers, one of which has a yellow caution symbol. Within the properties, under 'Device status', it displays "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". Both it and the working High Definition Audio Control point to the same driver, hdaudbus.sys.
In summary: - No sound out of speakers. - Sound icon in desktop taskbar says "No speakers or headphones plugged in" despite plugged in speakers - Realtek HD Audio Manager does not open on system startup - No analog sound present in Control Panel > Sound > Playback - Two High Definition Audio Controller devices present in device manager, one with an error symbol, both pointing to the same windows (not realtek) HD driver - No analog sound devices present in device manager - Possibly incomplete install of Realtek Drivers upon reinstall attempt - installed files do not load when opened. - No Rtlcpl.exe program present.
Steps already taken: - Installed most recent version of Realtek HD Audio Codec (2.70) from realtek's website - Redownload and reinstall of same drivers - Download of Realtek HD Audio Codec (2.65 I believe, I'd have to uninstall to see) - Redownload and reinstall of same drivers - Extraction of files from .zip version of 2.70 drivers, unable to point to these drivers. - Cleaning of registry (working on hunch that uninstalls of realtek drivers have lead to registry items being left that are preventing proper reinstall) - System restore to week before the problem (loads original drivers, problem is still present) - Removal of RTKVHD64.sys from c:WindowsSystem32drivers (was present after uninstall. I believe it was a remnant from the old system restored drivers, which couldn't be uninstalled due to missing registry files. File still remains outside of drivers folder as a backup) - Ensuring integrated audio is inabled within the BIOS - Update of BIOS - Update of motherboard chipset.
Relevant System Specs: OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64 Bit) Motherboard: Intel DP55WG Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
Hunches I have: Something to do with hdaudbus.sys - old related problems dealing with the AC'97 realtek drivers with respect to Win XP mention windows' UAA Bus Driver, which is what this is. Something in my registry is preventing me from installing Realtek properly. Maybe I need to give the full .zip a try again? Maybe I need to repeat these steps in safemode? I've been trying everything through normal installs and restarts. Try to find original driver disk from motherboard. (Having no luck with this). Last resort is reformat of C: drive.
i have changed my system type from64-bit to 32-bit and lost drivers required for youcam..so can i know what kind of driver are needed to get a you cam installed in a samsung laptop
I am try ing to install windows 7 on my HP m8200n desktop pc. It will go through the loading process and it goes through all the steps until it finishes and restarts and then I get a blue and white diagonal striped screen. I do a forced shut down and restart and get a message that says windows installation cannot proceed to restart the computer and restart the installation. I have went through this 6 times with the same result.
i hav hp pavilion dv4 -1318TU , 4 gb RAM and 320 hard disk,,, i hav installed window 7 home primium, but it giving errors like 0x0000005, i cant open application. antivirus, nothing and now i trying to install window 7 ultimate again..
My laptop is an inspiron n5110 and before my warrenty expired i had to have the hard drive replaced. Its been maybe a year or two since that happened. My computer was not updating with windows update since mid oct. and my firewall was down for i dont know how long. I had the IT guy at my work look at it and somehow my BYTES (i think thats what it was) driver was deleted from my computer and my java update somewhere along the line had corrupted my updates too. He said to do a restore and if i wanted he could completly wipe my hardrive clean for me. Well i did a factory restore yesterday and finished installing the last two disks today. Now i cannot connect to the internet and it is saying my drivers were not downloaded correctly. Should i do a factory restore again or have the IT guy wipe it clean? We even hooked up my computer directly to the router through an eithernet cord.
I was wondering if Samsung have released drivers for the R60 laptop that are fully functional in Windows 7, when I installed Windows 7 I had to search for all of the drivers myself, I was given a disk with the laptop but it only works in Vista. When running a benchmark test, the graphics were much better in Vista because I dont think I can find the right driver for the graphics card in Windows 7.
Also, a lot of the Fn buttons dont work anymore, for example changing the brightness, turning off the display, showing the battery level on screen, etc. I assume this is done through the chipset driver which I never had to install or even looked for.
Also, one last thing, with my graphics card on Vista I get a little ATI icon in the notification area, along with the Catalyst Control Centre, although I never get this in Windows 7.
I have two Windows Updates that failed to properly install, how can I fix or reinstall them? I ran the Microsoft Fix It program and it said the updates were repaired but they are still listed as failed under the update history section of Windows Update. I run a 64 bit version of Windows 7
I can't seem to find any working solution to properly install named Soundcard under Windows 7/64. I know its a driver problem on behalf of the Souncard manufacturer. Can Microsoft not make a generic driver to fix this? The chipset used on this Terratec is a commonly used soundcard chipset if I'm not mistaken. Surely MS can conjure up a driver that will work and not let my Soundcard crash the whole PC just bc I want to listen to some music?
I am having issues with the atheros ethernet, when I try to update drivers I get the following "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)".
It seems all the usb ports do not work on my laptop. My usb mouse doesn't work, and my other usb devices do not work either. All the usb drivers are installed properly as detected.
I have a shared SCX-4521f printer that I'd like to print to from a Win7 64bit workstation. I've tried the Vista and XP drivers - both 64 and 32 bit and I'm not allowed to install either. I've also tried the universal samsung print driver to no avail.
I am trying to isntall the New Samsung PC Studio for my Samsing phone to connect to my PCI keep getting this error messageso the message is blank! How can i find out what this error says, or perhaps as to why i cannot isntall Samsung PC Studio?I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, my system is a Dell Insprion 530s
One day my sound was working fine, and then after spending a long day of sound editing (with headphones in) sound suddenly stopped working from the internal speakers. Sound works from my headphones when they are plugged in but not my speakers and drivers are working properly. Now, here is the odd thing... whenever I change the volume for the 'Independant Headphones' from the sound panel, the sound works fine from the speakers with no problem for about 2-3 seconds! The default is currently set to 'Speakers and Headphones'. I have tried unplugging and replugging headphones to make sure the jack switch is reset in both slots, still no luck!
I was on the Samsungs offical site to get USB drivers for my mobile so my Windows 7 (Build 7201) could see my phone and I would bea ble to get photos off it and all that. I did have the program of running it at first, but I did run the installation in compatability mode to bypass this error. And it isntalled perfectly, but despite it being installed properly my mobile still isn't found.
Infact Windows sees my mobile as "CUSTT13 Development Platform" instead of Samsung or how ever it is normally seen. Is there anyway to fix this USB driver issue so I'm capable of connecting my mobile to my PC without any problems.
Just installed Windows 7 Pro 64bit today (big mistake). One issue with this OS is that it can not detect my DVD/CD drive. It is a Samsung SH-223F/BEBN 22x Speedplus.Placing the CD with the drivers on it does nothing. The drive opens/closes fine, but Windows 7 refuses to recognize it or run anything that is inserted. It worked 100% fine in Vista. I used this to boot/install Win 7 itself a few hours ago. It shows up in the BIOS.I can not install essential programs of mine. I need to get this fixed quickly or else I will have to revert back to Vista...And no, Samsung does not list the drivers on their website. Typical since they are a shit company.
Alright, I honestly don't know where else to put this/look for answers as google doesn't help.
I just received my new Phone, the Samsung Gravity (sgh-t456) I believe sgh-t459 for people in the states, and I'm trying to get it my pc to recognize it via usb. The CD that came with it can't install, it gives me all kinds of errors.. The samsung website is impossible to navigate and I can't find their support forums (even if they do exist..)
My OS is Windows 7 RC1 64bit.. and uh.. That's all I can think of from the top of my head. If you need more info, ask and I'll be glad to help you help me.
