64 Bit Drivers For Samsung Scx-4521f

I have a shared SCX-4521f printer that I'd like to print to from a Win7 64bit workstation. I've tried the Vista and XP drivers - both 64 and 32 bit and I'm not allowed to install either. I've also tried the universal samsung print driver to no avail.

Samsung R60 Drivers
I was wondering if Samsung have released drivers for the R60 laptop that are fully functional in Windows 7, when I installed Windows 7 I had to search for all of the drivers myself, I was given a disk with the laptop but it only works in Vista. When running a benchmark test, the graphics were much better in Vista because I dont think I can find the right driver for the graphics card in Windows 7.

Also, a lot of the Fn buttons dont work anymore, for example changing the brightness, turning off the display, showing the battery level on screen, etc. I assume this is done through the chipset driver which I never had to install or even looked for.

Also, one last thing, with my graphics card on Vista I get a little ATI icon in the notification area, along with the Catalyst Control Centre, although I never get this in Windows 7.

Samsung J600 Drivers Are Failed To Be Seen
I was on the Samsungs offical site to get USB drivers for my mobile so my Windows 7 (Build 7201) could see my phone and I would bea ble to get photos off it and all that. I did have the program of running it at first, but I did run the installation in compatability mode to bypass this error. And it isntalled perfectly, but despite it being installed properly my mobile still isn't found.

Infact Windows sees my mobile as "CUSTT13 Development Platform" instead of Samsung or how ever it is normally seen. Is there anyway to fix this USB driver issue so I'm capable of connecting my mobile to my PC without any problems.

My OS is Windows 7 RC1 64bit.. and uh.. That's all I can think of from the top of my head. If you need more info, ask and I'll be glad to help you help me.

Guide To Drivers For Upgrading Dell Inspiron 1525 From Vista 32-bit To Win7 64-bit
guide to drivers for upgrading a Dell Inspiron 1525 from Vista 32-bit to Vista
64-bit or Windows 7 64-bit.

The Dell Inspiron 1525 is an extremely popular model of laptop and is a very good choice for a Dual-Core cpu at a relatively good price point. However, it has one very big drawback, it ships with only a 32 bit OS.

Simply put, a dual-core cpu is a 64-bit processor and the operating system that comes with the laptop is Microsoft Vista Home, which operates at 32-bits. Youâve paid for four lanes of highway, but youâre only using two! Upgrading to Windows XP 64 bit, Vista 64 bit, or even the Windows 7
beta (test version) 64 bit operating system is the only way to take advantage of the additional speed youâve paid for. And it is worth it.

Dell does not support, suggest, or recommend upgrading your OS to anything other than the factory installed OS. So if you upgrade, youâre on your own. If youâre unsure of how this may affect your warranty, I strongly suggest you contact Dell before doing any modification of your OS.

I also highly suggest you back up all of your data, either to an online storage spot or to cd/dvd discs where you can easily access it after the upgrade is complete. (NOTE: I recommend you make that a bi-weekly, if not a bi-daily, habit) Backup! Backup! Backup!

Next make sure you have all of the original CDâs and installation material that came with your laptop in case you want to restore the original settings later on. There are hundreds of online guides that will walk you through the upgrade process. Google it and you should be able to find one that works for you.

Dell does not offer a readily available list of drivers for 64-bit operating systems. The purpose of this here is simply to give a list of drivers that I downloaded that worked for me. After doing a fresh, clean install of Vista 64-bit, I got out the Driver Installation disk that came with my Inspiron 1525.

On that disk, there are several drivers that are already 64-bit compatible. Insert the disk and select Vista 64 bit under Operating System. Click on extract for each driver you want and under
the View pane it will tell you if it is 64-bit compatible. Some drivers under the Vista 32 bit section will also show if they are compatible with 64 bit.

Install each of the drivers that meet the criteria. Alternatively, you can go to the Dell Website and enter your Service Tag number (from the back of the laptop) and Dell will provide you a list of all drivers that shipped with your laptop. Click on each one and select the Compatibility
option to see if it is 64 bit or not. If it is, download and install.

As I said before, Dell does not have a readily available list of drivers that may be needed after a clean install of a 64 bit OS. Here I will offer the drivers that I hunted down that worked for my installation of both Vista 64 bit and Windows 7 beta 64 bit.

These drivers are not necessarily listed as being for the Inspiron 1525, but I have installed
them and they provide the same functionality on the 1525 as their 32-bit counterparts. To find them, simply go to Dellâs website, in the drop down box next to the search bar select âSupport and Helpâ and type the R number in the search bar. The driver should be the first one listed. Click and download. Once downloaded, double click to install. That simple.

Important:

Dell Support Center does not work with 64 bit OS.

Dell DataSafe Online works,
but not very well. For online backup, try MOXY.

Dell Media Direct 3.5 may be permanently deleted from your system if you upgrade and may not fully re-install even when performing a complete re-install via the reinstallation disk provided by Dell.

A few other things that Iâd like to mention. First, is that you may find it difficult for some of your applications or software to work with a 64 bit OS. Try Compatibility mode. This will work for probably 60% - 80% of all software. For the rest, itâs hit or miss.

Check the softwaresâ website for suggestions. Secondly, if your Inspiron 1525 has a built in webcam, try this: When installing, change the default installation directory from âC:ProgramFiles (x86)Dellâ to just âC:Program FilesDellâ.

This simple change was all that was needed to fix a very pesky problem which was preventing me from using the Webcam. And if you find any other software giving you a hard time, ie: ScreenSavers, this solution may well work for them too.

Third, you may need to re-install the Sigmatel STAC 92xx C-Major HD Audio driver after you install the webcam to get the built-in microphone to work correctly. During one install, I had to do this, during another I didnât. So I just offer it up as a suggestion if needed.

NOTE: You can obtain a free test version of Windows 7 beta from Microsoft, but they do warn that its license expires in August of 2009 and you will need to uninstall it after that point. Therefore, I only recommend using Windows 7 for those who are technically inclined.

Stick with Vista if you donât want to, or donât like to, install a clean copy of the OS every few months. I will strongly urge you to purchase a copy of Windows 7 once it becomes commercially available as I have almost nothing but good things to say about the beta (test) version. Iâm pretty sure the bag of chips will be included in the price.

Samsung BlackJack II Drivers Will Not Install Properly
Alright so, I just got a new computer yesterday and it just so happened to have Windows 7 64-Bit on it. I am a new user, that in a few days has switched from XP to 7. I own a Samsung BlackJack II, which I have done countless modifications to, and now, I cannot seem to sync it up, let alone, connect it to my computer. When I plug it in, via USB.

It worked the first time, synced it and everything with Windows Mobile Device Center, but then when I unplugged and replugged it in, driver's were corrupt(obviously), and tried uninstalling it all, and then reinstalling them all, drivers and WMDC, and I get a little notification that informs me that the drivers were unsuccessfully installed.

Which is no longer making any sense to me... At all! lol, so I was wandering could you guys help me out here? I'm new to Windows 7 and I hope that this Community, gives me a lot of insight, and information to get back on my feet.

Win 7 64 Bit XP Mode And A Printer With 32 Bit Drivers
Hoping that Win 7 and XP mode will solve this problem: A while back i installed Vista 64 on my gaming system and upon installing my printer (Konica Minolta Page pro 1350w) I found out that there were drivers for it, Konica Minolta won't make 64bit drivers for it and trying to use Generic or similar Konica Minolta modiels with 64bit drivers hasn't worked for me.

I have found some who have had success (but they are sharing through a another PC) I have it connected to a USR Router with a Built in usb Print server. I need to keep it this way to maintain its usage. But the question is can I install XP Mode on a 64bit Win 7 setup and use this printer this way?

32-bit Printer Drivers
I have an HP OfficeJet 5610. Both printer and scanner work perfectly on my main computer with 64-bit Windows 7, but when I try to print something from my dad's laptop (XP 32-bit) it gives me "unknown error"-type messages. I found out that I need to install the 32-bit drivers on Windows 7, but where do I find them? I never installed anything in the first place; the normal 64-bit drivers came with the OS. My Windows CD has both versions, so it must have the 32-bit drivers for my printer... but where?

Creative Drivers At Only 32 Bit
So my creative sound drivers (newest from the website) only seem to be running at 32 bit. Is this going to affect sound quality or cause problems at all? Is there any way to get them working at 64 bit? Will this affect performance in games? I can't use the beta drivers that are posted because the X-Fi Titanium isn't listed there (unless there was an omission).

Monitor Drivers - 32-bit
I just completed the build of a new system and have the Windows 7 RTM software loaded on the system. Since the system is new I just have it connected to an old tube monitor which isn't so great. I was looking at getting a new 23 inch LCD that can do 1920 x 1080 but I'm wondering if I'm going to need a specific driver for the monitor or whether Windows 7 will see it automatically as plug and play?

So far one monitor I'm looking at only has a driver for 32-bit Vista and my machine is 64 bit. The other monitors didn't have any drivers so I'm worried about buying something now. Should I be concerned?

ATI 64 Bit Drivers
I have tried using ATI 64-bit drivers. I tried the Windows 7 ones and then, in frustration tried the Vista ones I used when Windows 7 was in beta. Every time they try to install, I get an error message saying that the INF file cannot be found and then the installation fails. This also means that every time I boot up the CCC Host fails twice and tries to send reports to Microsoft, which whether I allow it or not takes away from time I could be using my computer.

I suspect that some ATI driver I used in Win 7 beta is still there but that the RC does not know it (and thus cannot use it). I don't see it showing up anywhere so I can uninstall it to make life easier for the new driver install. Yes, I know you don't usually have to uninstall an old driver for a new one, but in this case I was willing.

I did not follow Microsoft's directions for installing the RC. I was not supposed to upgrade from my version of the beta, but read about a workaround and I didn't want to have to reinstall my programs. This may have been what caused this problem. The question is : does anyone know how to fix it short of reformating and reinstalling Windows 7 and all my programs?

Canon LBP5000 64-bit Drivers
Anyone knows what Canon is gonna do about the fact they don't have 64-bit drivers for this printer? Anyone some information on this?

I know there are no Vista (64-bit) drivers either. This is the only piece of hardware which is not functional with Windows 7 RC (64-bit).

This is a great printer, so I will stick to XP if no solution is given by Canon. But maybe someone has some official info from Canon regarding this issue .

64 Bit Drivers Essential For 64bit OS?
i want to install win7 64bit on my laptop, the specs are: intel pentium d t3400 2.16ghz 667 mhz fsb, 4gig of memory, 250gb hdd it's an acer laptop however the acer website only has drivers and software for 32bit versions of vista not 64bit. does this mean i won't be able to install it?

i'm aware that win update has a lot of drivers already and they might work my gfx card is a mobile intel graphics media accelerator 4500mhd (mobile intel 4 series) and i can't find any 64bit drivers for that either - but i've read that some users have just used the windows update version for drivers so do 32bit drivers work on a 64 bit os?

because i'm connecting my laptop up to my hdtv it's essential i have the intel driver/software working so that i can calibrate everything.

64 Bit Twain Drivers D1250u2f
Have been struggling with Canoscan drivers. My not too old d1250u2f Canon scanner seems destined for the scrap heap because there is not a 64 bit TWAIN driver to be had out there anywhere. I managed to drag the Scangear toolbox off the original CD, but the many drivers I've tried from the net never install properly or work at all. Has anyone figured out a work-around yet?
