Samsung J600 Drivers Are Failed To Be Seen

I was on the Samsungs offical site to get USB drivers for my mobile so my Windows 7 (Build 7201) could see my phone and I would bea ble to get photos off it and all that. I did have the program of running it at first, but I did run the installation in compatability mode to bypass this error. And it isntalled perfectly, but despite it being installed properly my mobile still isn't found.

Infact Windows sees my mobile as "CUSTT13 Development Platform" instead of Samsung or how ever it is normally seen. Is there anyway to fix this USB driver issue so I'm capable of connecting my mobile to my PC without any problems.

Samsung DVD/CD Burner Burning Failed
I had a fairly new Samsung DVD/CD burner which would read under Windows 7 but burning failed in all apps after I upgraded from Vista.  No new firmware.  I decided to replace it with newer drive but it did the same thing.   Since the DVD was the only thing attached to a Marvell SATA RAID controller I went searching for new drivers for the SATA controller.

Sure enough they just published one and now everything is working.  Of course I have a perfectly working drive sitting on the shelf but at least I can burn.

Samsung R60 Drivers
I was wondering if Samsung have released drivers for the R60 laptop that are fully functional in Windows 7, when I installed Windows 7 I had to search for all of the drivers myself, I was given a disk with the laptop but it only works in Vista. When running a benchmark test, the graphics were much better in Vista because I dont think I can find the right driver for the graphics card in Windows 7.

Also, a lot of the Fn buttons dont work anymore, for example changing the brightness, turning off the display, showing the battery level on screen, etc. I assume this is done through the chipset driver which I never had to install or even looked for.

Also, one last thing, with my graphics card on Vista I get a little ATI icon in the notification area, along with the Catalyst Control Centre, although I never get this in Windows 7.

Samsung BlackJack II Drivers Will Not Install Properly
Alright so, I just got a new computer yesterday and it just so happened to have Windows 7 64-Bit on it. I am a new user, that in a few days has switched from XP to 7. I own a Samsung BlackJack II, which I have done countless modifications to, and now, I cannot seem to sync it up, let alone, connect it to my computer. When I plug it in, via USB.

It worked the first time, synced it and everything with Windows Mobile Device Center, but then when I unplugged and replugged it in, driver's were corrupt(obviously), and tried uninstalling it all, and then reinstalling them all, drivers and WMDC, and I get a little notification that informs me that the drivers were unsuccessfully installed.

Which is no longer making any sense to me... At all! lol, so I was wandering could you guys help me out here? I'm new to Windows 7 and I hope that this Community, gives me a lot of insight, and information to get back on my feet.

Win 7 Upgrade Failed Rollback Failed
I foolishly (in retrospect) tried to upgrade my Vista Ultimate to Win7 Ultimate (RTM). After a hour or so of working away copying files and setting etc, I returned to the machine (Lenovo T500) to find an error message - "driver cannot be installed" or something close to it with no indication of which driver it was referring to. It indicated the upgrade was going to cancel and revert. However, the next step just opened a Dos box and stopped.

When I looked at the msg it indicated basically that "winpeshl.ini present but no cmds" and gave a long path to rollback.exe. I searched for the rollback cmd, and executed the same on as in the message "rollback.exe, "/upgrade" " but nothing happened. I eventually just rebooted and started Windows 7 which was an option (I forget the other option but it did nothing -  I tried it first.)So, I have Windows 7 running but with none of my old programs installed! I really want to get those back rather than try to recover the entire machine from scratch. I have several folders on the C drive: $inplace.~tr, $upgrade.~os and #windows.~ls and @windows.

~Q.So I know the old programs are there and all the old setting as well (in those folders). Question is, how can I restart the install to get it to bring those programs and setting into play? I see no options anymore at boot time. Is there a program in one of these folders I can run to kickstart the upgrade to install the settings and programs?thanks(frustrated with what should be a no brainer installation)

Failed To Upgrade Error
What happened: At the very end of installing RC Windows 7, I got a "failed to upgrade" message, and then it said my system would automatically revert back to Vista, which it did (thankfully).

I have already uninstalled Windows OneCare (virus protection). However, when Windows 7 was installing, my Spyware Doctor opened up and I had to click "yes" on it for the Spyware Doctor box to go away. Do you think that could have caused the upgrade to fail? I had turned off Spyware Doctor, but I'm thinking I should uninstall it before trying Windows 7 again. What do you all think?

Virtual PC Install Failed
Seems like a lot of people have been experiencing issues installing KB958559 in Win 7 RTM. My issues was that after installing in windows; rebooting and finalizing the installation it would "fail" at about 98% and then rollback.

In the event log I was getting " Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070005: Update for Windows (KB958559)."

Upon digging in the "C:WindowsLogsCBSCBS.log" log I found that the issue was a permission error in putting the final shortcut into the Start Menu Program folder. I don't know how the permissions got screwed up, but my username was the only one with access to "C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuPrograms". To resolve this I cascaded the permissions for the folder one higher down to the program folder. You could probably also temporarily just add full access to 'everyone' until the install works.

The actual log file error incase anyone is searching is this:

009-10-09 23:01:55, Error CSI 00000020@2009/10/10:03:01:55.393 (F) CMIADAPTER: Inner Error Message from AI HRESULT = HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED) [[19]"Access is denied."]

Upgrade Installation Failed
I have an HP pavilion laptop computer running Vista Home 64 bit. I bought the 3 license Windows 7 and tried to install it. First I spent from 6AM till 11AM backing up my computer. Then I spent the next several hours checking with HP to figure out how to find the right drivers that the upgrade suggested I needed.  Then I spent from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM installing windows 7.  At 8:00 PM the computer indicated that the upgrade failed.

It is now 8:28 and it is still restoring my computer to whatever it was before.  I had to un-install several things and would like to know what I have to do to fix this mess. I am not happy with this at all --- $149 later and over 14 hours.  Please help.  Do I have to re-install windows 7 and will it take another 5 or 6 hours.

DLNA Samsung TV
I have a Samsung LN40A750 TV and apparently for the "A" versions you can no longer get the linkstick. I ordered a "B" version of the linkstick but it didn't work (it said it wouldn't but I figured I'd try it anyway).

In the end I settled on purchasing a Linksys WET610N Wireless bridge. That worked as the TV has an IP address and I can use WiseLink to see the content being shared from the computers on my network.

The PLAYTO feature in Windows is what really want to work with this lashup but the TV is not recognized by Windows 7 as a device.

Any thoughts on how to get the TV to be recognized as a device while connected to the bridge? Is this something provided by the linkstick for this TV?

BTW, it does identify the WET610N wireless bridge as a device in Windows.

I have a Samsung Omnia 2 phone. It too is DLNA compliant and I can PLAYTO that device.

Failed Installation, Drives Gone Missing
I have an 80gb IDE drive and two 250gb SATA drives. One of my SATA drives is partitioned into two partitions and the last is not.On my IDE drive I have Windows XP64 installed (My primary OS)On partition one of the SATA drive, I had all my XP programs installed. On partition two of the SATA drive, I had all my Vista programs AND Vista64 installed. On SATA 2, I have various files. So here's what happened.

I booted from DVD and installed Windows 7(64) to the same partition I had Vista64 installed on.After it went to completing the setup, the screen showed about a small square of the top left of the setup window, the rest of the monitor was black. It seemed like it had locked up, so I just forced a reboot. When it tried to boot back into Windows 7 to complete the setup, it gave me an error before the boot screen that I had to reinstall it.

Here's where my problem comes in.When I booted back to XP64 but notice that two of my drives are gone. It appears that both partitions of the first SATA drive are just completely missing.I open up Drive management and the drives are missing from there as well. Opened up Device manager under the disk drives and it only lists two of my drives, the IDE and second SATA.

Now, this concerned me since I think it was a hardware fault at this point. However I am able to see all my drives in the BIOS.So I installed Windows 7 on my second SATA drive, and everything went fine. I'm able to boot to desktop, and still access my Windows XP64 install.Anyone have any ideas on this? Any tools I can use to check my drives before booting to an OS?Also, lemme go boot into Win7 and see what drives are there under disk management and see if I can boot to Vista.

Edit: Trying to boot to Vista gave me the same error as trying to boot to Windows 7 the first time. Also there are two Windows 7 entries under the boot menu, one with the error and one that works. In Windows 7, I see a mysterious drive that is 128GB that says it's not formatted. I can't access it. However, I am able to see all 3 drives listed in my device manager in Win7.
