I just plugged in my old samsung lcd/tv Model # LA22B350F2 but the display is kind of over-exposed..extreme bright. Cant even find it on device manager. Searched for drivers but failed. Running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, on-board GPU (DG35EC).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had an ongoing problem with this for some time now. You can see here that my Device Manager tells me that I'm missing a video controller, and also in that post is my inability to watch full screen videos online. Here, I talk about the problems I've had with my display driver crashing.
Now, yesterday I downloaded Photoshop, and as it opened, a window popped up saying that my "monitor Profile" is defective and needs to be calibrated (See first attachment). If I choose to Ignore Profile, I can use Photoshop as usual, but everything I export has an irremovable yellow tinge. If I choose to Use Anyway, there is no white in Photoshop's color pallet, only the same yellowish color.
This got me thinking for the first time that my monitor was the cause of my problems, so I searched online for Samsung 2243swx drivers. On their webpage, they had up for download only one driver, which is for a VGA graphics card (See second attachment). I've been running a PCI graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS), and I was wondering if this could be the problem.
Would you say I ought to buy a VGA graphics card?
The POS manufacturer's website claims to have support, but their live chat is always down and the support section doesn't actually HAVE pc drivers, or at least for the LN-T2353H model.Without the driver I'm currently forced in a god awful resolution at a flickering 60Hz. The TV I'm using as a monitor is Plug and Play compliant and Windows 7 device manager detects it as a "Generic PnP Monitor" if that information helps. I can't think of any other information to share other than I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x64 on a high-end self-built gaming computer so ask if you need more.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I installed windows 7 in my system upgrading from vista. Both are 32 bit. My Samsung ml 1640 is not recognized by OS. When I downloaded the Windows 7 drivers from Samsung site the file ml-1640_32bit.exe, installed the smart panel but stops at 75 per cent with the message, "You have no permission to change the settings for this printer. To change settings contact your system administrator." I ran the file as an administrator. I even turned off the UAC. But the drivers won't install.
