Can someone for the life of me please explain how i go about updating the driver as the default one seems to print graphics realy badly, compared to what the printer is capable off.
I have tried going to device manager, its not listed or im pretty sure its not.
i have tried going to the printer propertives through the Printer and Devices window, no update driver option there?

i cannot figure out why my microphone sounds like crap but it does, over skype or in music recording software.Very static'y and distorted. Is it likely that this is driver related at all?If so, Samsung's website has a driver version that is actually lower than what i have.So i went to realtek's website which has a disclaimer saying that they only offer general drivers that may not fit the customized settings of my PC's motherboard that my PC manufacturer's audio driver will have. However realtek has a more recent driver.I just dont want to royally screw anything since my audio is otherwise fine, just the mic isnt getting a clear signal.
Or is it perhaps worth installing the older version that samsung offers?
Unfortunately driver from Vista x64 Ultimate doesn't work... Samsung Universal Printer Driver too... any ideas?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Samsung series 3 laptop has been sending out popup messages telling me I need a bios update, I go to the Samsung software update site and this bios update has been failing, I have made several calls and chats to techs at Samsung who tell me to do what I have already done, they tell to ask for tier 2 tech, who can go in my computer and fix it , When I finally got a tier 2 tech, they told me the same thing, I told him what I had been told about him and what he could do, He said, is it working , I said yes, but settings on computer change on their own,like wifi turns itself on and that concerns me. Anyway, He said that it didn't need a bios update,even the Samsung website said this computer needed a bios update. when the updates were done it prompted me to restart which i did. when my laptop rebooted i got an error (ill post up a pic of it in a bit) now when i tried to change my brightness using the function keys they dont work
Currently i'm using windows 7 OS...so i can't able to connect the mobile to PC...its showing that "Update the Driver"

Then my printer stopped being recognized and Windows reported it was due to code 43. I've tried the normal options - unistall universal bus controllers, take laptop battery out etc but nothing fixes it.

1) Windows 7 64bit has a Samsung ML-2510 USB printer installed
2) I shared the printer in Windows 7
3) x64 drivers are installed but could not installed x86 drivers. It keeps saying the driver is not for the processor architecture (using the driver I used for WinXp)
4) In Advanced Sharing Options, I enabled Sharing and disabled password. I only have one account with no password, on Win 7 Machine.
5) Windows Xp laptop is a work machine and part of a domain, so I can NOT change the workgroup to "Workgroup"
6) Tried installing the printer using Win7MachineSamsung command in Winxp run dialog
7) Printer windows opens up showing "Initializing" and then get 'ready'
8) NOTHING happens when I try to print a test page.
Is there a way I can use the printer? I used to be able to print without any problem, when I was on XP.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having huge issues getting my new Samsung SCX 3405FW printer to connect wirelessly to my PC running Windows 7.
I have run through the instalation process many times and it always ends with 2 outcomes.
1) When I try to create a network between my printer - router - PC it states that my WPA2 password is invalid. It is not!
2) When I attempt to create an "ad-hoc" network direct from the printer to the PC the instalation process untils it reaches near the end and it tells me that my must enable "portthru" in my network settings. The only place that I can see one can add a "portthru" thing is via my firewall settings.
I have had Samsung on the phone for hours and they cannot fix it. Yes, I have downloaded and installed the latest version of the software and drivers for the printer. I have tried a reset to factory settings on the printer etc etc.
I want to use my printer samsung scx- 4521f in a local wireless network Is this posible?
